@OP.

Personally, I feel there is no place for communism in todays world. What you tout as unique benefits of communism can be covered under the ideas of socio-capitalism.

Absolute and purist communism jars with the nature and instinct of man in my opinion.

It was wrong for APC people to threaten others from voting but you falsely claiming Non Yoruba people were killed is worse.

One (Yoruba tout) person was killed for attempting to steal the ballot box in Surulere/Yaba axis, apart from that, no one else has been reported killed, why the lies?
Bro, read my two post above to see, crystal clear, what OP engaged in and you will understand the reason for their desperate needs to use lies and misinformation to demonise others.

I kept getting banned for trying to show OP had heavily altered his thread topic and content of his first post , showing deliberate attempt to manipulate in the first place and then ensure that his original and deliberate misinformation continues to control the narrative on this thread.

My messages only started appearing, with no ban, after I petitioned a sensible mod to look into this gross unfairness and act.

Kudos and salute to him otherwise this OP, desperate to use anything to get "Yoruba President" ousted would have succeeded with his attempt to whip up sentiments against APC and PBAT.

Always blaming. When will the blaming games end Sir? Na blames we go chop? Ehn?
If you don't take time to understand the problem, most importantly pertaining to Presidents who did wrong to get us where we are today, how will you know PBAT is one of those trying to deliver solutions rather than "always blaming"?

For example, Tinubu is trying to resolve the main issue of power supply today which is the fact Nigerian President, from Circa 2013 to present, owe our power generation and distribution companies what those entities insist is above 6 trillion Naira.

They have now downed tools and refuses to work to capacity until what they owe is paid.

Of three Oresidents from 2013 till today, it is Tinubu who has now reconciled debt owed to agree a 3.3 trillion clearance of what is owed to GENCOs and DISCOs to get things moving.

Why can you, presented with all the fact, not view him as a President who is committed to a better Nigeria than others before him he insists are responsible for our woes today with how they failed to plan?

When Nigerian civil servants celebrate you leaving, you're definitely doing something right and have not given them freedom to slack as usual. All they want is to stroll in and out of the office just to mark attendance register and do absolutely nothing.

Nigerian civil service needs a total overhaul. Only about 20% of them are actually doing productive work, the rest are a liability.
You are 100% correct. I run a few businesses in Nigeria with one in particular having operational and trading links with at least 5 African nations that sees me having to travel there to deal with documentation, compliance and logistic issues.

Nigerian customs, immigration, civil and public servants, across all sectors, are the worst by far in Africa.

Lazy, casually corrupt and wickedly evil to the extent they are prepared to ruin your hard work and major business investment if they do not get what they want from you.

I really, really despise them because the problem they will give you will so traumatise you that you will not even be able to share your inhuman experience with anyone else.

They will leave you depressed, in tears, feeling totally belittled and even rejoice your failure if you fail to 'sort' them. I have never seen anything like it anywhere else in the world.

This is why I shout regional autonomy daily because, from first hand experience of many other nations of the world (over 20) in comparison to our own, it has become crystal clear to me that Nigetia is full of people who are their own worst enemies of progress and will continue to be the perfect national epitome of the "crab in Bucket" wahala.

I.e pull-him-down syndrome, meaning Nigeria is always destined to fail unless we begin using autonomous smaller, better administered and more homogeneously aligned geographical spaces to secure socio-economic progress.

Obidients I dislike with a passion but those I can understand because they simply want an Igbo Presidency due to the belief they were born to be on top of the pile dominating all others.

Yet what is the justification for any balanced, educated and well-adjusted Nigerian for supporting Atiku who is the equivalent of a father who abandons his children and turn up only once every four years for those same children to be declaring him best father on Earth?

Is it not clear those children (Anonimi etal) have no clue about who a good dad is let alone a great one?

But today, when Obi or Atiku do the same thing, you people will gaslight them, expecially Obi,that he is demarketing Nigeria.
You turn it to tribal politics. That he is aligning with the north to oust a Yoruba man to scuttle the turn of the South.
But when Tinubu was forming alliance with the same Northerners like Atiku,Buhari,ElR
rufai,Almakura, etc to remove Jonathan and scuttle the turn of the South, nobody talks about Ijaw and the southern turn.
Ijaws did not accuse Tinubu of demarketing Nigeria then.
Yorubas did not wear the tribal eyeglass then...ooo,rather,the praise Tinubu's action as being masterclass.
They see all his words and actions as a normal thing opposition should do.
Today, Obi as an opposition leader is trying to do the same "normal opposition things" , people are crying and abusing him.
That's high level hypocrisy.
Today,Atiku as an opposition leader is trying to the same thing against Tinubu, the yorubas supporters are crying and abusing him and saying it's not the turn of the North.
As if it was the turn of the North when Tinubu brought in Buhari in 2015.
Hypocrisy is a bad ideology.
Not me sha. While I always highlight that the actions of Obi and Atiku are cynical, divisive, duplicitous and self-serving I back my talk with the insistencr they can never outdo PBAT.

Check and verify. As opposition politicians, they will do their thing against PBAT which includes underhand tactics, manipulation of facts, gaslighting etal but they cannot succeed against Jagaban because they don't have the capacity to better him.

Jonathan was no match for anyone. Ditto Obi. Only Atiku can do gra gra because he has the largest number (greater than Obidients) of the most unsophisticated and easily teleguided supporters behind him.

Yet even he will never succeed against Tinubu who has the support and loyalty of the most influential Northerners, in powerful positions currently, behind him.

Bro, if you don't support weaklings and those unfit to be called leaders at the highest level to begin with, like GEJ or Obi, then you would not need to worry abkut their ability to dominate and win as PBAT supporters never worry over his ability to dominate his desperate opponents and carry the day.

Jonathan was placed far above his station and capacity. Even he knows that. You all forget this is a man with no ambition to be Bayelsa Governor let alone President.

What I will credit Jonathan with is his depth of critical thinking that makes him see and understand that Tinubu was his opposition leader while he was President meaning they had different permanent interest which defines virtually all political engagement

Today they are not in opposition and Jonathan recognises all Tinubu did was politics and nothing more. Nothing personal either.

He also understands , haven been President, that Tinubu is a far better leader than him who can deal with the monsters he could not.

He knows deep down such a person is far better as a friends and ally than those who ,even using terrorism, made his own Presidency hell.

Nigeria charges six people with treason over Independence Day coup plot

Six people in Nigeria, including a retired major general and a serving police inspector, have been charged with treason for attempting to overthrow President Bola Tinubu in a coup last year.

The charges were filed by the Attorney General at the Federal High Court in the capital, Abuja, where the defendants are due to appear before Justice Joyce Abdulmalik on Wednesday.

A seventh person - a former governor and one-time oil minister, Timipre Sylva - was also named but the court documents said he was still at large.

Rumours of the coup plot first surfaced in October 2025 when the government abruptly cancelled a planned military parade to mark Nigeria's 65th Independence Anniversary.

At the time, officials cited security threats - but speculation quickly linked the cancellation to a possible coup plot.

The military denied the suggestion, but in January it announced that 16 officers were to be tried before a military court for attempting to oust the president.

It is unclear whether the charges filed in the Federal High Court, which also include terrorism and money laundering, are in addition to the military prosecutions.

Sylva, who served as petroleum minister from 2019 to 2023 under former President Muhammadu Buhari and was also governor of the southern oil-rich Bayelsa state from 2007 to 2012, denied links to a coup plot after his house was ransacked by investigators last October.

An arrest warrant was issued for him the following month in a separate case launched by the country's anti-corruption. At the time his spokesman said the former minister was in the UK for a medical check-up and said the allegations were politically motivated.

Those named in the Attorney General's case are:

Mohammed Ibrahim Gana, a retired major general

Erasmus Ochegobia Victor, a retired navy captain

Ahmed Ibrahim, a police inspector

Zekeri Umoru, an electrician working at the Presidential Villa

Bukar Kashim Goni, a civilian

Abdulkadir Sani, an Islamic cleric.

According to the charge sheet, the six defendants, who have yet to comment on the allegations, "conspired with one another to levy war against the state to overawe" the president.

The court papers suggest that coup plot was led by Col Mohammed Alhassan Ma'aji, who was arrested along with other accomplices.

Prosecutors also allege the defendants had prior knowledge of the Col Ma'aji's "treasonable act", but failed to inform authorities.

The charges include the suppression of intelligence, with prosecutors alleging the defendants were intent on destabilising the state and failed to disclose information that could have helped prevent terrorism.

Money-laundering allegations form a significant part of the case - with accusations that money changed hands linked to the financing of terrorism.

Under Nigerian law, treason is one of the most serious criminal offences and can attract severe penalties, including life imprisonment.

Nigeria has experienced a period of unbroken civilian rule since 1999. The armed forces have consistently stressed their loyalty to civilian authority, often issuing public statements reaffirming their commitment to democracy

They are bitter and envious people.

This project is turning their hearts red.

Otti that they won't let us rest can not boast of such a project but they keep ranting he is the best because he constructed highly over inflated and substandard roads.

But when another governor outside their region actually provides world class infrastructure it should not be celebrated.

You see their stinking duality?
I truly feel bad for them. Imagine a world full of so much good to cherish and these guys prefer to be bitterly unprogressive and divisive always?

I always project and highlight good things happening in the SS here because any good person will know the region, with it's reward being environmental degradation, continues to bear the brunt of providing Nigeria with her main income every corner of our nation focused lazily on once crude was discovered in commercial quantity across the SS.

These people are always calling SS their brothers who must join them in Biafra yet simple test to prove their genuine love for SS folks they fail woefully because they cannot be happy for the SS once Tinubu began empowering the region as GEJ did not/could not.

Bayelsa was decreed a near failed state under GEJ and Buhari. Today her socio-economic health is improving. No need to borrow to pay salary and there is surplus for infrastructure project in the road and power sector. Why are they not happy for Bayelsa?

As well as NDDC, Tinubu fully approved and funded the SS to be the only region in Nigeria with two regional development commission with creation of SSDC i.e South South development commission in 2025.

Whereas we all know Buhari, Atiku or Obi have done that because non would believe the Sas deserves that extra push.

Furthermore, Who hates and demarkets the Lagos Calabar coastal highway ,we all know will transform the fortunes of the SA beyond measure, if not those guys?

Who attack Akpabio daily and automatically plot his fail because Tinubu stuck with him to be Senate President.

The list is unending that shows obsession with dominating the SS, at every stage, is their main agenda even if they feel they are conning others with their fake 'brotherly love' for the SS the world can see is insincere because they are only ever negative , bitter, ungracious and spiteful over every positive development for the region and States of the SS.

How they believe the rest of us dumb enough not to see through them and understand what drives them is beyond me.
