aswani:I agree and that is why I dismiss Atiku's challenge. Those honourable Northerners, plentier in number and cumulatively more powerful and influential than the born-to-rule Supremacists like Atiku and Malami etal, will ensure PBAT carries the day. |
Antoeni:Thr messiah worship credentials of you guys is unrivalled universally. Obi, a charlatan and dullard, has now become a greater solutions-provider than some sector-specific and finest global technocrats, to include Nigerians, goverment seek solutions from? In a world of billions of people, it is amazing how you people can still say publicly "only Obi" as if he is different to the failed Anambra Governor we all know. |
aswani:Lol. No bigger servant of Atiku and Arewa on NL than Aminda, Anonimi and Odin13. They will defend Atiku and Arewa above and beyond anything and anyone. A waste of time though because no one needs 'one Nigeria' more than the North that knows she will be no better than Niger Republic and Mauritania but for the South. Once the rotation agreement is truncated by the North then Nigeria is finished because Yoruba, unlike some certain group of empty noisemakers, won't accept being second class to anyone in Nigeria and we know how to be effectively rebellious. This is something Northerners are aware of too and the decent ones amongst them will be the ones to go above and beyond to ensure Tinubu wins because they need 'One Nigeria'. Yorubas don't. |
SMerchant:Yes very happy Obi is done. Atiku next so Nigeria can breathe. |
Amotolongbo:Lol. So true. Only question in Atiku's mind is "when am I getting the keys to Aso Rock? " |
Counterigbolies:100% correct. Who do these people think they are fooling? "Tinubu has failed" yet they cannot suggest new names. They want the callous Dubai-dweller Atiku and/or proven failure Obi to replace Tinubu while Aregbesola replaces the excellent Tunji-Ojo and Hadi Sirika replaces the silent achiever transforming our aviation sector i.e Keyamo. Malami should return as AGF to depose our current AGF performing well without controversy and without ethnocentric bias against any region of Nigeria Emefiele too should come back to replace Cardoso who has led the Nigerian central bank, for the first time ever, to be crowned world central back of the year 2026. Your 💯% correct insisting they should confess they can't stand a Yoruba man as president because backing ADC as a replacement for APC and Tinubu just shows they are not interested in the progress of Nigeria. |
DrAkpa:Lol. You lot think anyone still falls for this Una empty threats? |
Basic123:You are so right. Stumbled upon one of her feed and ended up going into her link to see more of her short videos and skits. She knows those people too well. In fact, she should join Nairaland and become WitchOfNG because her psychoanalysis of those people na witchcraft in accuracy lol. |
Richtaiwo:Don't mind them. One popular Nigerian female skits personality, I think she is Edo, said "if Fulani beat Igbo man, the Igbo man will run to go hold Yoruba trouser to shout na you beat me". Lol. Atiku is the most ruthless and callous Nigerian politician alive today. He has no interest in anything or anyone beyond his own ambition. He does not rate and has never rated Igbos. He even said, last year, Yoruba will "form my cabinet" showing he knows whose political support is most critically important in Nigeria. He threw Igbos, famzing him slavishly, under the bus to show he wants to court Yorubas he believes more valuable. Obidients did not notice this critical development , that would have shown wiser folks how to move, and continued viewing Atiku an ally of Obi and Igbo ambition. I just feel sorry for these people who go, decades in and decades out, into political battle without critical intelligence and pragmatic logic. What Atiku is doing to them remind me of lyrics from Dotman tune "enu gbe" that was one of my favourite tune back then i.e "Won fi scope won fi shenk wa" time stamp 1.09 to 1.11 in the video below. Atiku don use scope (ADC) shenk them because he throws others under the bus always . Especially those who offer themselves cheaply to him to begin with. Last, last Nigeria will float and not sink. It is only Obidients that will always cry because dem no Sabi the scope at all. They prefer noise and nuisance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1Ysmxcw16A?si=Av8C5-9wvC0wRaBL |
DomPerignon:Lol. Well-said. We are used to the Fatwas the smallest yansh don dey issue against big yansh historically since independence. Look where they were then and where they are today? No forward motion at all. Only losses upon losses. No growth , no maturity and no capacity for critical thinking essential to winning in political life. What they have retained is the capacity for issuing empty threats and fondness of throwing themselves around on the floor senselessly. |
Crying over spilt milk. Atiku does not care about what anyone wants let alone the agitation of Igbos. Atiku is the most self-centred politician in the history of Nigeria. The lamentations of Igbos means nothing to him. |
socialmediaman:Lol. You love deluding yourself. Best of luck. |
AntiChristian:Lol. They are there via conference call. Jagaban excludes no one that is an economics asset to Nigeria. |
erad:Spot on. I could not even comment on the thread (so much mindless negativity) till I saw your post. Personally, this is why I am likely the most rabid fan of regional autonomy on NL because I know it is an option since outright balkanisation of Nigeria is constitutionally outlawed. We do not love each other and don't mean well for our fellow Nigerian of different ethnicity hence the reason those who are beneficiaries of what is meant to be positive news can only find words of condemnation for Tinubu here. Multi-ethnic and multi-religious nations can flourish but never when they lack homogeneity of ideas over major considerations related to the socio-economic order of a society as is the case with Nigeria. Those who are pragmatically intelligent and accept/work with reality are the most successful in life. Nigerians are not in that category and Nigeria will never be successful until we recognise our irreconcilable differences to then make them strenghts instead of continuing to insist on the discredited "one Nigeria" unity garbage a few are using to feed fat while majority are in misery. |
Sirjamo:Precisely. I too would like Obi and Atiku to promise today they will reverse the reforms of PBAT. Let us see how much investor confidence and global goodwill Nigeria will be able to muster, after Obi and Atiku make that suicidal announcement, as the lady below is gushing about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph5XCf8jgOE?si=tGQla7GM5PtPLIxE |
@OP. You want everything free, very cheap or subsidised heavily and even zero tax obligation for life. Whereas the "desirable life" in the developed nations Nigerians wish to 'Japa' to is underpinned by the concept of everyone, not government alone, paying their way and doing their bit. If you know anyone in Britain or Germany today, why not call them so they reveal how much of their salary they pay in taxes and bills that goes towards the good infrastructure and safe/secure society they live in? Previous Government before PBAT were simply weaponising poverty to subdue Nigeria so you are distracted from noting their failure and looting. They were maintaining many Nigerians at a standard lower than even pets enjoy in developed nation. They give you enough, using numerous subsidies, to eat, transport yourselves around, have sex and procreate, parade substandard degrees that won't ever raise Nigerian civil engineers who can deliver fourth mainland bridge start to finish. Their ploy is simple. Give Nigerians, unaware of what a fulfilled life should be, everything else that helps them attain the existential basics thus preventing the masses from realising others have it much better elsewhere. If you want a Nigeria where people can live dignified lives equivalent to that citizens of developed nations enjoy then you will know Tinubu is the real deal as a leader focused on teaching Nigerians how to fish rather than giving them fish. |
Kukutente23:The bolded confirms you are the one lacking intelligence because the very point Yorubas have made consistently is that GRV's words and actions show he is anything but a "Yoruba man" at heart. There are children of white and black parents who hate and reject the race of one of their parents passionately. How dumb would it be to then support them as representative of the race, black of white, their talk and action show they despise? GRV is of Yoruba and Igbo parentage. His parents seperated and he was raised by his Igbo mother with Igbo culture and orientation alone to the extent he cannot speak Yoruba at all at age 43, and is now "learning", yet speaks Igbo fluently since childhood. Aren't you showing lack of intellect suggesting it is impossible for him to detest Yoruba and not see himself as a Yoruba man especially if he has been indoctrinated to host disdain for Yorubas by his mother? Furthermore, how unintelligent is the suggestion I have to be affiliated with Khan or Mamdani to understand, as administrative leaders of London and New York, two highly cosmopolitan cities of the workd, they can never make the sort of statement GRV did denigrating one ethnic group in their respective multi-ethnic societies? What GRV did isn't done in progressive societies by even the most racist leader because it would make their position untenable. Nigel Farage can never say "I don't think in Nigerian" and not be decisively finished in British politics. It is only in Nigeria, with openly bigoted people like you, such happens. Your talk only reveal you are unexposed, unrefined, bigoted and crude. |
Berankis:Totally agree with you and your talk is even more valid in the case of Nigeria that is a haven of professional and career fraudsters. Rotimi Amaechi, Deji Adeyanju and Dino Melaye all gained "law degrees" at Baze University. A highly dubious University named in an FG probes of 107 private varsities suspected of issuing fake degrees and founded by Datti Baba-Ahmed who was VP candidate to Obi in 2023. Connecting the dots, a clear pattern is visible. All characters involved, from founder of Baze University to her famous alumni, are jostling to "rescue" Nigeria today. Whereas they are all likely glorified scammers and commen facilitating each other's rise to prominence and automatic membership of the "owners of Nigeria club" which then favours their efforts to become important political and administrative leaders of Nigerians. This is why I laugh when I see the likes of Datti Baba-Ahmed, Deji Adeyanju, Dino Melaye etal lambasting the government in power to recieve cheers and praises from Nigerians. Ultimately, the Nigerians I pity are those who don't nourish their minds with knowledge, as water and earth nutrient nourish a plant, to then be tools in the hands of professional con artists Masquerading as "saviours of the masses". https://www.thecable.ng/melaye-amaechis-degree-in-question-as-baze-varsity-gets-banned-from-admitting-law-students/

WorldRichest:Really tragic. Yet, as they say, "evil thrive when good men do nothing". If those who have the talent and capacity to make a difference stay away from leadership and only remain on the sideline criticising, then the opportunists posing as leaders will take charge. |
Natasha is just an 'airhead' and bimbo promoted far above her Station. Pretty sure she bought her law degree likely with 'favours' granted to a Professor. Abati was literally berating her for showing disdain for her law profession making "weighty" allegation she has no proof of which is something lawyers, in particular, should not be guilty of since they know factual proof of guilt/wrongdoing is the cornerstone of practising law. That this woman has many supporters is proof Nigerians are too divided, prejudiced and ethnocentric to see what matters most. |
100% behind this initiative. Anyone who loves Lagos and live her reality will know this environmental sanitation exercise is long overdue as an action plan to rid Lagos of filth caused by a refusal of Lagosians to be mindful and responsible. It is also badly needed as an orientation exercise to get some of the dirtiest and most irresponsible people in the world to begin taking conscious charge of the cleanliness of their immediate environment. Lagos, a megacity of over 20 million people and, needs the inculcation of a culture and mindset that will provoke the awareness "cleanliness is next to Godliness". When Government allow people to disregard, desecrate and damage where they live then environmental damage, that may be permanent, is the result. |
Taiwo Oyedele is a great choice. Edun did his best. He now has the opportunity, not available to many, to rest and recuperate properly from health issues that he should be fully focused on defeating. |
boxypane:Your town. I am your next door neighbour in fact. |
boxypane:She can take her appeal anywhere she wants. The law is simple and clear over defamation . For example, you call someone a killer and cannot show evidence of who they killed let alone present a dead body. How can the law rule other than conclude you are defaming the character of others with lies and false claims? The law, unless compromised, is not emotional or prejudiced as most Nigerians are in determination to rep their corner or person. |
commoditiesnig:Well-said. Hamzat never threw any tantrums nor become a loose and vindictive cannon like Aregbesola etal. He exemplary showed an extraordinary ability to put Lagos interest above his own while refusing to fight those who said 'not your time". He remained a valuable part of the team contributing progressively to the forward march of Lagos. Who, in the eyes of the GAC, is a better Governor of Lagos than that? Glad folks like you are here to educate many of the "small kids" here who probably began following politics after 2023. |
Kukutente23:Rubbish from a shameless individual. I have been a Londoner longer than anything else in my time on Earth. Khan would never say "I don't think in Bengali" or "I don't think in West Indian" as there is no scope at all for that sort of public show of bigotry in the UK today. I am pretty sure also that Mamdani would never announce "I don't think African American or Jewish American". That you guys don't know how to retrace your steps and instead prepare to double down on your insincere and redundant arguments only confirms you are dedicated and ireedemable bigots. |
kppo:Don't let them deceive you presenting borrowing as bad. The money Nigeria needs to even begin to address huge deficits and problems that has left us literally a century behind many other nations of the world is huge and far, far beyond the capacity of Nigeria's income. Countries borrowing to develop is what the greatest nations of the world have always done. The USA is the most indebted nation in the world but her positive debt to GDP ratio show why USA is comfortable continuing to borrow. USA has around 902 dollar billionaires while China, her closest rival, has over 400 billionaires. If we want to industrialise Nigeria rapidly, make Nigeria a great manufacturing nation and producer of finished goods the world wants, host trade surplus instead of deficit, develop a substantial middle class and lift many out of poverty, diversify our economy, create world class human resources that will in turn make Nigeria capable of providing solutions for her own problems, etc, etc they we must borrow to make th SE things happen . Especially because the Nigerian economy has been devastated by misrule to leave her near zero when PBAT took over in 2023. |
georgeakins:They are just pained they are not in charge of Nigeria through an Obi Presidency. We saw how they behaved when GEJ, who is not even their kinsman, was President. All that different Governments did, from 1999 to 2023, is avoid taking responsibility for a ground-to-the-top rebuild of Nigeria. Instead they came in and did a lot of sideways motion , with no forward progression, to leave incoming Governments heavily burdened and disadvantaged. Tinubu is the only President, since 1999, willing to risk being disliked and villified to put Nigeria on the path of greatness. |
Lol. Shebi she was insulting those who told her that her uncouth mouth and agbero behaviour will land her in trouble. Let her pay ojare or they seize and liquidate her assets to pay Bello. |
