Hi guys,

I need advice on this situation:

This is about me actually (not a friend). My graduate visa is running out soon, and I intend to do the FLR under private life or whatever convenient option, just to gain more time in the country.

However, I have been seeing people talk about how if you finally get a visa sponsorship job during the process, and apply for your SW visa, then they will refuse you on the basis that you have applied for two conflicting processes.

Firstly, that the graduate visa does not have any option of extensions, and the reason you have given them seems to be in contradiction to what you're now applying to.

I know it sounds confusing (me too), so that's why I've brought it here to get a cleaner version of this story.

I know for sure that I have not seen anyone granted the FLR, especially for single people with no personal or family ties whatsoever to the UK. So, I was discussing with a friend and he opined that if that is the case, then one can cancel the FLR application just before they put in for the SW visa application. Does this fly?

Is there someone who can throw more light on the role of the section 3C concept in this case? I'd like to put in for the FLR and I am hopeful that the jobs that I've just interviewed for will come out positive.

This above is for the Lagos State High Court at Igbosere but if you are going to the High Court at Ikeja, the "IN THE LAGOS JUDICIAL DIVISION" should be changed to the "IN THE IKEJA JUDICIAL DIVISION". When you get to the court premises, just walk up to any lawyer who is dressed in their Legal regalia and ask for the office of the Commission for Oaths. You are going to pay N500 (Five Hundred Naira Only).

A different middle name was used on my BVN profile. I want to change it to the one as it appears on my int'l passport. Do you know how much an affidavit for that cause will cost me?

And if you can show me a generic format of how it should be, so I can type it myself before going.

This your case is rare. If I may advice, visit the nearest branch of your bank where the BVN was registered and request to make changes on the BVN, once the changes are made, it will automatically reflect on your Form A portal.

Yes I plan on doing that by Wednesday. Just that I don't want the debit to happen quickly if the info on the telex will be that of the BVN profile. But thanks for your time.

The bank will send telex using the information on your offer letter.

If you're certain about this boss, then I'm okay.
I'll still visit the bank to effect the changes nonetheless.

Hello, sorry for the late reply.

Uni-assist is very important for applications to most German schools especially Potsdam.

Yes. You need to write a Motivational letter. Kindly check through Google to find very well written samples and write yours. That should go well, I guess.

Well, Potsdam don't need EPL (maybe some courses do, but mine doesn't ), and NO you can't write an EPL yourself. It has to be from your school.

It's only right if we do the same for people who might need our help along the way to sustain continuity. It feels like I've been a ghost reader and @eldee and Deutschmann are saying the truth about information being hoarded by individuals. So this is not to point fingers but a plea to everyone out there reading. Please share as much as you can about your journey to Germany here. You never know who you might help. I got 3 more schools to apply just by following this thread even after I went through Daad to search for schools.
I've applied to 11 schools. 2 Bsc and 9Msc. 3 of them are yet to be forwarded by Uni Assist. No AL yet. Still hopeful and already applied for a date on Category A on Friday the 7th of June but no date from the embassy yet. My Bsc is in Information System and I applied for a wide range of courses from Data Analytics to Data Science, Applied Computer Science, Business and Engineering, Web Engineering... the list goes on.
