fiercehillz:That's why we haven't gotten it right. Too bad. |
The day APC will dare put ex president Jonathan in the dock will be the beginning of the end of this contraption. |
What does the presidency want to find out or tell the participants at the meeting again - that we don't already know. Implement the 2014 Conference Report. Simple. Which town hall meeting can achieve what that Conference did? Wasting supposedly meager resources. |
How will the zombies believe when, before the elections, they boasted that even if Tinubu and Buhari were caught robbing the Central Bank, or Buhari presents a PHCN bill as his certificate, they will still vote for APC. To them, the present government is made up of saints. Evidence ko, result ni. |
Wait o ! Supposing Tinubu was convicted in error and is serving his prison term AND the error was now discovered. Wouldn't his sentence be reviewed, him set free and he can even sue for damages? But now nothing can be done about his being freed in error. As it is said the law is really an ass . Diaris God o o. |
So Alhaji Rotimi Ahmaechi & Co wants the re-run election cancelled for a re-re-run? And they hope to win? Impossible! Please INEC should spare Rivers State further violence and more blood sheds. Blood thirsty political cultists. |
Which amongst them will Buhari trust and listen to - to ginger him into action. Or will the BoT chair just be there while the Oga continues doing his own thing his own way. |
And Mr Integrity turned a blind eye and deaf ears to the allegations. Please , somebody, what is the definition of corruption again? |
So Yanusa produced this letter as exhibit A in his defence . Or who produced it? His defence counsel? SMH. |
This Mr Kanu Agabi has already won his case. 10 other former governors had their assets declaration clarified at the CCB and did not have to go to court . BUT in Saraki's case the AGF himself usurped the duty of the CCB. I've said this in another thread that this is a classical example of a politically motivated prosecution and persecution . Our justice system is on trial here. Not Saraki. |
Seeing is believing. |
Corruption grows like grass in Nigeria since 1960. We are just scratching the surface. At this rate we will spend eternity trying to uproot the tough 'grass ' while the economy and other services suffer. These corruption exposes may be good news to some but I'd prefer news about how the little we have is being developmentally deployed while the corruption fight continues in the background through institutional reforms and moral re-orientation of the citizenry. |
So Bello 'won ' the election without a deputy while Faleke is claiming that he 'won ' but without the principal. Meanwhile Wada is the the candidate that finished the race without any controversy. V. P. Sir, can you, as a SAN, help us out objectively, judiciously and equitably. |
seunmsg:Shaarraap. You've not heard! The Deltans claim that they are not Igbo. Not in the SE. |
If the ruling party members really feel like this about their ' leader ', I foresee impeachment in the horizon. How can the whole country be suffering because of one man's obstinacy. |
For now, the APC is using the EFCC to audit PDP campaign fund and making it seem like all the money was stolen from us. I am waiting for the day the same EFCC will give to Nigerians an unabridged audit report of APC campaign fund - which is in excess of what the opposition spent. Or don't we also deserve to know their source of income and how they were disbursed. This will be the proper test of the integrity of Mr Integrity. |
Na wao. |
If Saraki and the PDP faction of APC did not act smart to usurp the Senate Presidency, this issue would never have come up. This is a classical example of politically motivated prosecution and persecution .How many ex governors in Saraki's category have had their assets declaration exhumed for scrutiny - whether they are in or out of government. Talk of giving a dog a bad name in order to hang it. |
It was overrated ab initio. It's finding its own true level with time. |
Every country borrows money for one reason or another ( even the USA does) . So people saying that Nigeria is not alone in this may be right. However, the point remains that our economy has almost collapsed. Just mention the areas that Nigeria excels on the world stage for now apart from pighting kwaruption. NEPA on strike, fuel queues back, bag of satchet water #150, etc etc. Borrowing money without a good economic team to manage it will be a waste. |
And you know what, the guys from the Daura Secret Service , without catching the joke, may actually go knocking at the Sun Newspaper office . ![]() |
I don't understand these people. So they expected the governor to encourage them to rig the election in favour of the highest bidder abi? I totally support the governor's admonition. Do your assignment honestly with the fear of God and the gods will protect you. Anyway, the job has to be done and I know many other lecturers ( from other universities ) will be too happy to prove themselves. |
The Federal Executive Council, what do they really deliberate on during their meetings? All these seemingly not -in -Nigeria -interest decisions, do they intelligently debate about them (looking at the pros and cons ) before approving them, or they simply attend FEC meetings and humbly swallow instructions and directives from the Oga at the top. I pray that we won't end up having the Supreme Military Council. Not again. And the beautiful Adeosun who should know better did the signing. Hmm. |
Since her parents still 'own ' her, the choice is theirs to make. One thing though - now that the fact is in the public domain, it's better they retain it because abortion is not yet legalised in Nigeria. And at five months, most doctors won't want to get involved. After all, she will give birth to either a boy or a girl and life goes on. |
The OP is entitled to his opinion though I'm tempted to think that he is a paid piper. With what is on ground, the whole people managing our economy have performed below average - including the "beautiful minister ". |
WWHHEEEEEEEEEEN !? for crying out loud. After how many years. I'll bet my last $1 that no names will be mentioned. Waiting. |
Agubushmenyo:See my updated post. |
Agubushmenyo:Blamers Association. Your reasoning reminds me of a dunce who had the opportunity to copy ( expo) during an examination. After copying a whole chapter from a text book, still included " SEE FIG 8 ABOVE " as part of his answer. Of course the examiner didn't see no Fig 8. Lesson : The people you are defending, couldn't they have copied intelligently? |
Why not implement the 2014 National Confab Summit recommendations first and, I believe, every other thing shall fall into place. Economic Summit, on a rickety foundation? I'm not a pessimist, I'm being realistic. |
Network problem. |
Can the Islamic Development Bank fund anything unislamic? Almajiri, bilingual education, moslem states including Osun etc. I doubt if the SE and the SS will smell this money. I'm not a bigot, I'm being realistic. Again, I'll want to be proved wrong . |
