Just came to see the pictures. Let them enjoy. It's God that buttered their bread. |

Very soon I foresee the hunter being the hunted . The Legislature can also meddle in the affairs of the Executive and the Judiciary - if only they are united and speak with one voice .But trust the puppets amongst them that will always want to obey their godfathers. It is these puppets that betrayed the House by writing that petition while they have also been enjoying all the privileges and goodies emanating from the alleged ALTERED Rules with which they were inaugurated ( not forged as alleged) . You want to see what a forged document looks like, refer to one Cambridge Certificate that has been circulating online since early last year. ( I didn't call anybody's name o o o) |

So gentleman Ihejirika was not arrested after all. All of you bandwagon joiners that were rejoicing because of the false wishy-washy yarn, let your conscience judge you ( if you have any) . |
Do I have to explain the meaning of ABSOLUTE IMMUNITY to my learned lawyer? Even if EFCC has the power to freeze ANY account ,it MUST invite the owner for explanation. But you can't invite the governor because of section 308 of our constitution which forbids this from happening. So, indirectly, Buhari et EFCC want to punish a sitting governor against the spirit of our constitution. What else is dictatorship? Turning and turning in a widening gyre. ...................... |

And yet the main opposition party members who dare to speak out are hounded and detained in the name of fighting corruption. Even up to freezing a sitting governor's account. |
Why can't the Executive arm of government mind their business. Let the Legislature get their joker ready ( Impeachment) if they can't bear the harassment any longer. Which side our Judiciary dey sef. |

But the presidential spokespersons keep insisting that you went to rest from the stress you undergo everyday and not for treatment. Prayers for a good rest? I'm happy you're fully recovered. Those your media aids must always get clearance from you before they yarn. Welcome back Mr President. |
So, when is the Court of Appeal going to attend to the matter? |
I blame the judge that gave his ruling in favour of the hijab. It's not a balanced and fair judgement. Hijab is NOT part of the school uniform for goodness sake. After school hours let those concerned wear whatever they like. Is this not 'Islamization' of the public schools? Na small small e de take start. |
Is it because Buhari told the international community that the judiciary is his problem in fighting corruption that our judges are now acting intimidated, afraid and irrational? You grant order to detain someone before investigations are concluded. Meanwhile, because EFCC cannot come up with a prime facie case within the detention period, an extension is requested and granted again and again and again. Gosh. Assuming that these judges are the detainees, how will they feel? Detention without trial !? I thought our judiciary is independent. Why should it be influenced by the odour oozing from the presidency. |
This is a scene from a movie . It can't be real. |

But he will willingly and hurriedly accept seized imported items . |
"Even if World Bank financing comes through, the loans won’t do much for an economy in shambles. The national currency has depreciated 70 per cent in the last year, leading to high inflation; government workers in 26 of the country’s 36 states haven’t received their monthly salary for months; and severe gasoline shortages led the government to end price controls, causing a 67 per cent hike in prices at the pump. Nigeria doesn’t need cash; it needs good governance, which is likelier to occur if the Igbo rule themselves in the southeast, the Yoruba in the southwest and the Hausa and Fulani in the north. The West blew it a half-century ago when the Igbos attempted to achieve self-determination by establishing the Republic of Biafra. We may soon see a reprise of that civil war. How the West responds will determine whether the nation states within Nigeria achieve self-determination, or whether Nigeria, like Libya and Somalia, becomes another failed state". |
Someone is building a house on a faulty foundation and his attention was called to the fault. Hear him " We shall return to the foundation after we have finished building the house ". SMH. |
When Olisa Metu begged to be allowed to travel abroad for his serious health problems ( as opposed to ordinary ear infection) , what was it again the trial judge told him? That we have facilities in Nigeria to handle any health issues? As regards a 10 days rest at this critical period, all I can say is :I hope there was proper hand over to the VP. |
So, from all the above ' good ' reasons, what are the criteria for selecting those ' looters ' whose names should be made public ( some are already being accused publicly) , and those that shouldn't. Because it is now obvious that there are many other Olisa Metus who are being shielded from being embarrassed. Metu's family has even agreed to refund all money he was accused of collecting but the presidency has not heard about that plea. How is his own case different? Why not tell Nigerians categorically that this arrangement is for the members of the ruling party and their supporters. |
" Taking the law into their hands ". Which Nigerian law did the poor woman break in the first place for crying out loud! This is a case of murder and no amount of sentiments or religiosity can exonerate the perpetrators. Our oneness as a country is on trial -running two parallel justice systems . |
It's very likely the president wants to beg him to help brooker peace in the Niger Delta. I can't think of any other reason. After all they are equals Yet some people feel that GEJ should be arraigned and prosecuted. Till tomorrow, this man is very much relevant to this country. |
Of course they have every right to complain. The real issue is how the Senate will react / treat the petition. Maybe, apologise to them. So what name will they want considering their attacks of the host communities? Patriotic Defenders? |
Was it not John Burroughs who said “a man can fail many times, but he isn’t a failure until he begins to blame somebody else”? You blame GEJ and go to Buhari for bailout. Shame on all ye lazy governors who have no ideas. With true federalism most states will just park up - that's why most governors like Osho will never support the idea. |
OP you only succeeded in making me open the thread by using the name ' Anyim ' - thinking it is the one we all know. Seeing the real person involved, I stopped reading. It's very likely you're an APC member known for their deceptions. |
Integrity my foot. For the next presidential election, God willing, there must be presidential debates for each candidate to convince me ( not confuse and talk rubbish during campaigns) why he deserves my vote. Once beaten, twice shy. |
