I never said Tinubu was Nigeria's Messiah. Personally I'm not happy that in a country of over 200 million people, that's the option that was presented. But my point is, of the top 3 candidates, he's the most competent. You don't have to agree, but that is a personal opinion.

Whether he agrees or not, it is the truth.

I never voted the dullard....
He's more intelligent than the whole of your clan. And regardless whether you voted for him or not, he is your President - our President! Whatever policies he makes directly or indirectly affects us all, including you! And your source of income. And your household. Obi won't take decisions or make policies for the country. He can only rant, whine, and criticize online to remain relevant till he comes out again in 2027. Till then, it's better you face the reality that Nigeria has defacto President, and his name is President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

You are not absolutely correct. Making of calendar had undergone changes before. The Romans were only lucky to be the leading civilization and imposed this on us. However, up till know, plan to adjust certain things by astronomers are ongoing to nabke a new calendar. It may not come into use anytime soon.

Anyway, happy new year.
I am so surprised that as knowledgeable as most people seem to sound, they still don't know, or chose to ignore, the history behind the creation of the calender, and naming of months.
Most people don't even know that a lot of countries have their own calender, different from the present Gregorian calender presently in use (Created by Pope Gregory in 1582)
Some 14/15 years back, there was a plan to seriously readjust the calender again. Like you said, we might not be getting that anytime soon.

Politics / Re: PDP 4 Peter Obi: New Political Group Emerges by wolesmile(m): 9:34am On Jan 02
Let's watch, wait, and see.

The present ruling party still have about 3 years 5 months to prove they are up to the task and turn things around. I strongly believe they can. Change is a gradual process. Even if either Peter Obi or Atiku Abubakar had won the election, we'd still be going through this process, and be thinking APC would've done better.
The problem with humans, especially we Nigerians, is that we lack patience.

Bro...
I can see you're very troubled on how to recover your 50k.
You obviously played into their hands. You transferred money into the account supplied.
The only body you can report to is the CBN. At least you know the account you sent the money to. Google on how to file report of fraud to CBN and do that, with concrete evidence. You can also take it up with their bank.
They have various banks they use though.
Just report the one you paid into, with evidence that you were obviously defrauded.
Politics / Re: SGF George Akume Marks 70th Birthday Today (photos) by wolesmile(m): 9:58am On Dec 27, 2023
George Akume is marking his 70th birthday today.
Ghali Umar Na'aba, former Speaker, House of Representatives, died in the early hours of today.
Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, Ondo State Governor, died today.
You'll think the one celebrating will take a sober time to reflect on these and realize how meaningless it is to run after life and realize that the only legacy you can leave behind is how you impacted positively on humanity.
Non of them, all of us... none even knows whether the next port of call of the angel of death is his or her domain.

You will rate an hotel 5stars through a link sent to you then later on, they will ask you to download telegram and then forward a link where you will add a receptionist that will credit you and then subsequently you will be sent link to continue with the rating and boom! Recharge blah blah.
You have to play along and continue promising you will recharge....
One of them contacted me when they were still using ALXtask6. I no get their time then, though I knew immediately what their game was.
Fast forward to 24th Dec (two days ago), I got another message on WhatsApp. I was told to join a Telegram channel to complete a task. I did and got 2k.
That day, I got added to a tutor, who told me to complete other tasks. I did 7 more (just rating hotels and restaurants and amusement parks ni o) and got 5k. The payment for the remaining 2 was postponed to the next. Yesterday (Xmas day,) I did 11 more. After the first 5k payment, the tutor was trying to convince me to go for commercial task, that my credit rating will be low. Na real brain work, because you will be added to another channel where people will be posting several testimonies of how they made millions. You'll see people posting receipts of the money they transferred for commercial tasks... 100k, 500k, 1M. Na so the money easy. Anyways, I managed to convince her to pay me another 5k. Altogether, I got 17k. I don spend am finish.
I am still chatting her till now to allow me do ten more before considering taking the commercial task. They will tell you the commercial task starts from 20k (that you pay o) and you will get credited 26k. Pay 50k and get credited 65k.)

See attached. The nonsense commercial task and the "cash back in minutes" they fool unsuspecting people with.

It is a daily ritual that has been on for years. Not just the season or now that he's the President.

If you are familiar with that area of Ikoyi, you will know anytime Asiwaju Tinubu is around because there will be a lot of people gathered outside and waiting to see him.

Most people who are just knowing the enigma Asiwaju Tinubu is are the ones who regard this as news. It's normal and I believe he learnt this from his late Mum.

Some years ago that we went to visit Mama in her Ikeja residence, the crowd waiting outside to see mama was so much that we had to reschedule the visit. Mama was getting old and frail then so could only attend to few visitors. Check my signature for free stuffs!
Same with Folashade too. If you see the kind of crowd that gather to see her everyday ehn...

Oh! ..... They swear an oath of secrecy before becoming a JP?

Never heard of that before though.
Never to disclose some aspects of mode of worship they undergo, and some rituals (purifications similar to Islamic ablution) they perform before entering the temple for worship.
Dare any Jerusalem pilgrim to refute this, and you see them beating around the bush. Ask them what mode of worship they performed in the temple.

But like I said, except for the few ones who dared to say the truth, the majority will never say.

To him, IDF and Israel do no wrong bcuz they're the chosen ones. "The Lord's people"... All their wrongdoings can be excused and overlooked.
Funny enough, Nigerian Christians shouting God of Israel are ignorant of the fact that Christians in Israel are less than 2% of the total population, and that they are the most hated by the Jews.
The war between Israel and Palestine is not about religion but about territorial ownership.
I dare any Christian that has been to Jerusalem on pilgrimage to come out and say it boldly, at the pain of death, that Christians in Nigeria worship the same God with the Israelis.
Ask them why they make them swear the oath of secrecy before embarking on their pilgrimage.
Las las, we go get sense.
