Let me educate you: The closest alternative is called 'blood substitute' which works as an intermediate vehicle for oxygen conveyance until the individual's blood production facility (the marrow) can heal up and return to full production capacity.
For non life threatening cases, this can work, but in life threatening cases, you don't have that time, you need BLOOD!
So, stop coming here to say everyone is stupid just to justify your warped religious beliefs.

In 2008, I lost a colleague to similar circumstance, she was involved in a car crash and needed blood transfusion in the course of treatment, the family vehemently refused on account of being Jehovah's Witnesses till she died.

My only grouse is with the Nigerian healthcare system; you don't need anyone's permission to do what you have to do to save a life! You took an oath to not allow factors like money, bureaucracy, dissenting opinions of non-medical professionals, etc derail you from your primary duty of preserving life.

OP, if you are just a normal individual with no real connections, then stick with your job, save, diversify your income and in a shortwhile, you won't only be financially comfortable, you will even be able to take time off to go do your masters without this dilemma.
But, if you're sufficiently confident of your connections that can help you get another job without much of a fuss, then go ahead and do the masters.
The operative word here is 'connection'. Foreign masters isn't the magic wand it used to be a decade ago, the Nigerian labour market has evolved far away from that... Now, it is strictly connection plus work experience.

Nigerians are addicted to their phones, you see it everywhere, people driving and whatsapping, making calls, they don't care...if you try to correct them, they snub you and insult you... many die in Nigeria everyday from being hit by cars, motorcycles, etc, if we post all of it on nairaland, it would become boring....So, like i said, this is the most ordinary death in Nigeria, infact, it doesen't get more ordinary than this

Because if our economic and social lives were better, if people had jobs and good living conditions, if people had access to quality education... Around one of my clients' office, there's a church there and I noticed they usually have Monday morning services or prayer session, whatever sha, but the church is usually filled with people... The white man gave us religion, but they call a spade a spade, work and innovate to make money, do their medical check ups, not until they get sick etc, because they have a society that works!
