They should conclude the deal na. Everyday "Seplat about to conclude Mobil acquisition". Its now like a broken record. Conclude the darn deal and let everyone rest abeg. |
The mob, coming for all the successful black males. |
Same thing here in Nigeria: leaders are living large while people suffer. But the people suffering are vehemently taking sides on the basis of tribe and religion. |
My worry is that these alternatives are mostly still in developmental stages, some are just still MOUs. I feel these should have been out in place before the takeoff of the Dangote Refinery and Lekki Ports and free trade zone. If these are not urgently put in place, Apapa congestion will be a joke compared what we will witness on the island. This is because unlike the mainland, there is only one road on the island. So, they should hasten up. |
I don't care. It has nothing to do with me |
Religion serves just one purpose: and that is for humans to identify themselves. And that identity is for one purpose only:, for humans to hate themselves. |
Whether she is joking, whether she just said it to hurt you, whether she is serious, whatever the reason, DON'T GIVE A FVCK! Your body is your body, you don't need anyone's validation about your own body. Your own is to enjoy yourself. Sex is to enjoy yourself, don't be fixated on pleasing her to the detriment of your own enjoyment. Don't stake your ego, don't engage in the discussion about your own body organ. When she knows its a sore point for you, she will continue to hammer on it. |
So, here is the thing: Polytechnics and their products are supposed to strictly be for the development of the technical workforce. The technical workforce are supposed to form the field and operational cadre of an organization, while the Universities are supposed to largely develop the managerial and research cadre. There is even the apprenticeship cadre which caters largely to the informal sector. The problem with Nigeria is that everyone wants to be a manager. The government and organisations are right in restricting HND holders. Your core training was to be a technical hand, but you want to be a manager. You're not meant to be a manager, when you get to the peak of whatever paid employment you find yourself, bow out and use your technical skills to become an entrepreneur and start up a business and be an employer. I also applaud the authorities for scrapping management courses in Polytechnics and restricting them to the core technical courses for which they were set up. It is not Nigeria placing emphasis on paper certificates, it is HND holders trying to usurp university degree holder's positions. |
They are having a normal conversation. A perfectly normal conversation. People think mental challenge means the person will just be talking gibberish. No, it is mostly manifested in terms of making poor judgements or irrational choices. |
On this topic, I don't think its black or white. I think a person should be sensible and realistic. Personally, I'm not an eye service kind of person, but at the same time, I'm realistic enough to know I have to do a bit of it to get far in my career. You must be a "team-player". I'm not corrupt, but neither am I a puritan. In general, don't be out of place, else you will booted out of the place. |
That is why your politicians use you to wipe their asses. Look at a slave vehemently denying the oppression and occupation of Palestine by Isreal, something that has been the subject of international discourse for more than 50years. A Nigerian want to wake up in 2024 and say it all started on October 7. You're clearly too ignorant for me to continuing replying to. smokinloud: |
Fool is asking of IDF in Gaza before Oct 7! Google ISREALI SETTLERS. I keep saying most Nigerians are ignorant basic people who think in black or white. Your motivation for this argument is Muslim vs Christian. You don't know Jack about international politics. Arguing like a primary school pupil "my religion is better than your religion".. Firebomber: |
Ozuo before October 7, you have been blind and mute to Isreal's daily killings of palenatinians that were worse than October 7, so much so that Gaza is generally regarded as the largest open air prison in the world. Everyday, Isreali settlers backed by the State will invade a palenstinian settlement, kill everyone and take their land. It's been going on for decades, but you're too blind by.slavery to know that. All you know as an ignorant Nigerian is Muslim vs Christian. Worthless black slave. DeOTR: |

Spot on!! I haven't seen a more dumb set of people. Religious brainwashing is a bad thing Aboki99: |
Says a black slave in a shithole in Africa. Getting excited that kids are being massacred in a far away place because of religious brainwashing Padipadi: |
Black slave, Trump no send your black ass. Go and get a life and stop worshipping your slave masters Ringstonermasks: |

I swear... Those guys will tell you straight up they are not doing. Marc Guehi should have also outrightly rejected instead of drawing Jesus on it. If people are not decisive like these muslim folks, this agenda will be forced down everyone, and it would be taken that everyone agrees, whereas it's just a small minority. WhoIBe: |

Two things: 1. Justice is for the highest bidder in this country: so, be in a setting where you have as much or greater might than others. In this case, we can clearly see the Oromini's were impostors in a setting like Dowen College. They didn't have the resources and clout to be in that setting. They did all possible to put their child there in the hopes that he will mingle with the kids of the truly rich and network his way to the top. This is the same thing most middle classers do and there's nothing the rich hate more than that. Even the kids know it, hence they bully them with disdain. 2. Nothing can be painful as the loss of a loved one, especially a child. This pain is tripled in a setting like Nigeria, where we are a strictly "by the blood" kind of people, i.e all of our existence is wholly for our kids, so there is less fortitude when a tragedy like this happens, cos there is nothing really else to live for, not for community, not for humanity. |
Personally, I don't believe in superstitions. But at the same time, I don't recommend you use the plate. For the simple reason, I don't see the utility in it. |
I agree with you on this. I was also once married, and it turned out to be the greatest delusion humans can subject themselves to. It is torture for two people to be bound for life. It is against human nature. The older people who have done it merely endured. Is that life? Lets have open relationships and coparent if kids are involved. MadamVanessa: |

I suggest staying back in Nigeria. |
Where are our Nigerian Christians, especially those from a certain part of the country who can lay down their lives for these people? They will all carefully avoid this thread. The challenge for you guys is to open your mouth to say you prefer gays to Muslims. Say it. |
I don't care. It has nothing to do with me. These two don't have the solution Nigeria needs. They are just like Tinubu, part of the political establishment, with an appeal to tribal and religious sentiments. |
Lamba! They want to form showing off that the refineries are working, so they can justify stealing more billions. The their bots online, will start attacking anyone that complains nedu666: |
Very picturesque, very vintage... Reminds me of my Nysc days in the north |
Words on the marble: IF HIM NEVER MAKE MONEY FOR NIGERIA, HIM NO FIT ENTER UK. To the people trying to justify the lawyer's action with sob stories, please note that these foreign countries only grant visas to people with substantial funds. This information means you already had the funds you claim to be looking for in their land, but you submitted it voluntarily to a white man in exchange for menial jobs in their country to try an gather the same money all over again PulaPower: |
