While a majority of Christians accept science like evolution, big bang etc (which are undeniable scientific facts) are compatible with their faith in form of theistic evolution/intervention sb(these Christians are mostly non-protestants in Europe, America and Asia), we have those who still disagree and accept the literal narratives in the bible. The latter are usually evangelicals/Protestants in the united states, south America and mostly Africa where science education is poor.

The difference between these two sets is that the non-protestants don't usually argue with facts, as a matter of fact, non-protestants Christians were/are very instrumental in development of science and technology. Majority of the Christians who have contributed a lot to science were non-protestants, so they work very hard to find a balance between science and their faith (they interprete the bible passages more as allegories and moral lessons rather than the literal interpretation) while Pentecostals are literalists and fundamentalists (they do not really contribute much to science, this set of Christians are in conflict with science).

Flat earth proponents, young earth creationists, antivaxxers etc are usually evangelical/protestant Christians.
