MrBrownJay1: the above is irrelevant....as a parent, you wll let go when you know/feel/believe your child is in good hands... until then, you will often check up on them. its completely natural, whether that child or their partneir agrees with it or not. thats what parents are meant to do. nope, as a parent, you need to be sure that your daughter is in good hands before you give her out for marriage . After wedding, let her be |

MrBrownJay1: so you believe it is wrong for a parent to not trust you and check up on their daughters? there is no such thing as "intrusion of your privacy".... just because you marry someone, doesnt mean you got the right to stop parents from checking on their children.
what have you got to hide? why are you so afraid of parents coming to check up on their daughters? what so wrong in the act? what privacy are you even talking about? if these parents trusted you as a man and/or the wellbeing of their daughter, probably they wouldnt check on their daughter so often. he has a right to his privacy, however he went about it wrongly. He should have just have that conversation with her daughter without the woman knowing anything about it. Wisdom, he lacks wisdom. He has started a very big heat that will never quench |

thesilentman: Because we live in proximity-same town, she wouldn't quit checking up on her daughter virtually every day or at least every other day.
I felt a deep intrusion on my privacy so yesterday I summoned the gut and asked her if she didn't have a house. Before she could reply, I told her, 'learn to stay where you belong! I did not marry daughter and mother!` She has since disappeared into thin air.
This evening am thinking whether i bleeped up or not. you didn't have to say it that way. You could have just spoken to your wife respectfully about it. You don't have to disrespect her that way, she could be bored and needed her daughters company. Although I get your point but you did it wrongly. You disrespected her |

tonididdy: It was an almost 1yr old dog ( a cane curso) My dog was very ill that period, this exact snake crawled into the compound or maybe through the fence and had a face off with my dog.
It barked and fought the hardest it could, it was its bark that attracted occupants of the house.
Lo and behold this beautiful patterned snake was there battling with my dear Bruno (RiP). It was killed that night, my dog died like a week later.
( I’m certain it sensed the dogs weakness, it has a huge head and I bet it’s jaws can open as wide as a mini bucket) maybe what you saw was a python, African rock python. Gaboon vipers are not big enough to eat a big dog. This is a rock python below, it can eat your dog, a gaboon viper can't

Axis313: Puff adder.Yorubas called it Paramole because it has earth color,so it is hard to detect it until you step on it. Op,you are asking if puff adder is venomous? It is one of the most venomous snakes in the world and it is the most temperamental amongst them. puff Adder is not found in Yoruba land, it's a gaboon viper that is found in Southern Nigeria. Puff adder is usually found in thr north, in Savannah region. Although both snakes are related |

Jonwesley: Even the decapitated head has enough venom to kill. Don't touch it for your life. this is jot true. The snake venom is stored in its venom gland somewhere above its mouth and it only injects it when it wants to bite. |
Science/Technology › Re: Is This Snake Venomous? by Workch: 2:19pm On May 18, 2023 |
nepapole: 100% hharmless.... No chop am sha you don't know what you are saying, that's either a puff adder or a gaboon viper (I will be able to differentiate them if I can see the head). Both are vipers and are very venomous with long fangs. The bite of a gaboon viper is the most painful bite of any snake. |

helinues: Why do you some of you people always making senseless comments?
What did Obi build?
Anambra money he invested in hero beer is worth to nothing according to Gov Soludo.
Obi generated meager N2bn in all his 8 years as Governor
Next UK was shut down because of tax evasion.
This same Obi increased Anambra state tuition fee claiming Education is for the rich, if your principal did not build anything, why does he deserves to be Nigeria president?
Isn't this hatred about Tinubu who made Lagos the choise of destination not for only Nigerians but foreigners.
Hatred they kill faster than Ebola first picture is alexandria University teaching hospital entrance gate. The second is Lagos state university teaching hospital gate. The two cities have similar GDP and IGR. I am showing you this so you can have an idea of where Lagos state should be with the kind of money it has. And the reason why I think that Lagos state currently does not meet my expectations

Hatred they kill faster than Ebola I am going to have to educate you because you seem not very sharp. Look at it, the richest cities in Africa by GDP are Cairo, Johannesburg, cape Town, Lagos, Algiers, Alexandria, in that order. Lagos has GDP of $76b (according to Lagos bureau of statistics), Alexandria of Egypt has a GDP of $66b. Now budget Alexandria in 2023 is $881m The budget of Lagos state in 2023 is about $4bn. The IGR projection of lagos state for 2023 is $2bn. City of Alexandria in 2022 generated $2.5b in 2022 as against Lagos $1.4b (if you factor inflation, it's about $1billion). Now the idea is, a city of Alexandria with a much lower GDP generates more revenue than Lagos and even has a leaner budget over the years. These are some of the things they have been able to achieve with a leaner budget, more IGR and lower GDP. It begs the question, is Lagos that efficient as you people paint it? It now begs, the question: what's Lagos state even doing with the IGR? Hold on, I am not done....

helinues: If Tinubu did not build Lagos, why are your people flocking their? It's like asking that if Obama did not built America then why are black flocking to America? Of course, Obama didn't build America, he contributed his own quota and blacks have been going to America before Obama became president.. Tinubu did not built Lagos, Lagos has been built before him and people have been migrating to Lagos enmass before him. So why do you think he will perform at the national stage. I do not think he performed in Lagos |

helinues: You do not believe that Tinubu built Lagos, fine.
What did Obi build in Anambra state?
Enlighten us The topic is whether Tinubu performs or not. Stay on it, you are looking for every means to make this discussion a petty banter. Yes, I don't believe that Tinubu performed in Lagos visavis the potential and I am being sincere about this. It is the reason why I doubt if he will perform at the national level. I Wil be glad if he proves me wrong |

helinues: Stop using If seh, he will
Are you a doubting Thomas? it's a two way thing. I do not believe that Tinubu built Lagos, the evidence before us suggests that Lagos has been the financial and economic headquarters of Nigeria even before Tinubu entered secondary school. Lagos has had this potential to be the biggest economy in Nigeria since before 1960 because it's the financial of the most populous country. I believe that Tinubu did not do enough to harness these potentials. I want to see this thing from your point of view, by doing that it's two options: 1. It's either Tinubu changes everything and makes the lives of Nigerians better. (which I doubt, owing to the fact that he still reasons like the old order politician. I will be glad if I am wrong). 2. Or he maintain the old poltical and procedural order of doing this in Nigeria. Which is doing to be a disaster because the country is on a brink. (I hope won't be the case). |

Take note Because that's the crux of everything. Stop being defensive. If he performs, I will be glad but if he maintains this status quo then it will be a waste. Majority of the lives of Nigerians won't change. I am here for your frivolous tribal battle. Face the Real issues |

Are Lagosians locking their grandpa and grandma at home every Monday? Are they cannibalizing their own people?
When would you people be sincere with una self? Focus on thr topic. The topic is, why if Tinubu does not perform? If he performs, I Will start campaigning for him. All these unnecessary distracts about Lagos this and that won't fix Nigeria |

You people should catch up as you are lagging behind focus on the topic. Stop propaganda. If doesn't perform, what will be the case? Because al these Lagos this and that will be tested on a soil that is not Lagos |

I am even of the opinion that Lagos should have done better if not for Tinubu and his massive looting structure. All these Lagos this and that is utter jargons |
