Hello Peeps,

I applied for UK visiting visa for 2years to attend my graduation bear in mind i stayed for for 3years plus. However, i was granted six months and i went for the grad. I only spent a week and came back to my surprise i got a call from the British High Commission in regards to my visa and they will like to see me in their office regarding my visa. The thing is am a bit worried as i don't know what they want to see me for any suggestion will be very helpful thanks.

No one here can answer, they can only guess!
Go and see them and find out.
If it is bad news face it and move on.
No point worrying go and see them.

Many schools requesting deposits suggests they are sick of students booking places but not completing admission.

You will loose your money and have to pay again.
They will only allow so much messing about.

Found this page early May: paid my visa fee late may. Had my interview today with my wife and kid and we got out visa. No agent input: no lies: just plain straight truths: we were asked a few questions here and there: no visa was checked: not even our previous travel visas on the old passport(new passports are fresh: no single stamp). I can't thank you people moderating and commenting here enough. Transcript later when I am settled. But the lesson I learnt on this page and at the consulate today is :[size=14pt] always say the truth: it's much more easier to be comfortable and bold when you are saying the truth.

Contact the admissions office they will have details of accommodation.
There is a lot of student accommodation to rent there.

Also search on line for Bangor student accommodation.

Some would suggest that low living expense is because there is nothing to spend money on!
Bangor is very quiet and in North Wales.
Most entertainment will be through the university.

Few jobs there and most will be low wages in shops.
Priority for jobs will be given to Welsh speakers!

Are you going to attend your interview with these answers written on pieces of paper?
If you are so uncertain the trained VO will see straight through and suspect your motivation.

Unless you get things clear in your head to give simple and honest answers you will be rejected.

Lol...the msg was very clear , surprised it isnt clear to you . Maybe you can re read it slowly and put POE where CBP is , even though CBP (Customs and Border Protection officer ) is the correct term but less familar

If you do not know,
Your visa is not an automatic right of entry.
The C.B.P. have absolute power to allow or refuse entry or to impose time limits or conditions.

Sorry but I think big issue.
Most passports have very strict rules on the picture quality.
Best look to replace it than find a problem at immigration somewhere.

You should tell them that you are pregnant, and your plans.
Do not try to hide it.

If you travel in October take copies of your proof that you will return in case you are questioned at point of entry.
If you can get letters from hospital and doctor, along with costs again that might be useful.
If you can pay bills or even a deposit that will be good.
You might not be asked for anything, but have paperwork ready in your hand luggage.

Yes mention it, this shows you are being honest.
In reality a parking ticket will not affect your visa.
If you say no and it does come up that is fraud and bad JuJu!

After my six month overstayed the boarder police officer was just mocking at me that i will pay a fine, and i ask him how much and he said how much do you have , then i told i him i have 150 euro and he took me to the police office and do the paper work and gave me receipt of the payment and stamp my passport overstayed. I am very happy that i leave in peace.

They are just happy to see you go.
But don't try re-entering!

Not on it's own no.
You should get a letter from your employer (if you have one) saying you will return to your job after the visit.
Managed landed property and family / children help as well.

I think you are making far too much of this and trying to blame other people.

It is very well known that hotels cancel reservations if not paid, YOU should have checked this.
You should have checked bank statement and the reservation before the application was processed.

More for you to worry about the VO says " I am satisfied that you applied deception"
If they claim deception they may have banned you!
You must now check this, whatever happens you have black mark on your record.
To say again this is your fault for not checking, nothing to do with the hotel!

All embassy's state that you are entirely responsible for any documents or passport stamps.
No crying that agent did it, they have heard that story thousands of times.

Now there is a record for fraud on the computer for ever!
Only thing now is try other countries. USA is a closed door.

I heard this but also heard that there would be a Scottishness test.

You will have to recite 5 poems by Robby Burns in the correct accent.
You will have to eat a whole Haggis.
You will have to play a tune on the bagpipes or dance a Scottish reel and be scored on the performance.

While doing this you must wear highland dress.
You will be inspected to ensure nothing is worn under the kilt!
