It is VERY SIMPLES. like many countries they are protecting there own citizens. First they will check to see if there is a Canadian citizen who can be employed in the job. Only after that will they open the job to non Canadians. This is not racist or anti Nigerian, just common sence. 1 Like |

For people that do want to convert a PDF document to be edited in microsoft office ( Word.) Your post does not make any sense! The title says convert PDF to WORD. You then ramble on about converting word or excell into PDF, that is easy microsoft office does that as standard. This is just the opposite of your title. |

In reality it is cases like this one that cause border agencies to continue to be extra cautious about Nigerians. Here is someone who could quite simply have told the truth and he would be in the UK now. He chose to lie and was caught out. The person who caught him will have passed on the story of "another Nigerian fraudster" and every green passport is suspect again. If Nigerians did not keep showing how dishonest they can be the situation would calm down and move on! 12 Likes |

As border control agents they have every right to question anyone that arrouses their suspicion. They will question people from any country. Untill we have facts or a statement then we don't know. Then agents work on ways to get round the rules, so some still gain entry. |

Again lying get's a Nigerian in trouble when telling the truth would have passed him through. You said that he had booked a hotel for buisness, if this is true. Then he should have told UKBA that he had relations in UK. but had booked a hotel for buisness meetings and was not seeing them. It's so simple but people would rather lie than tell the truth. Royals1:If the money is from your sallery then the account statement should show regular payments to you. Even better are a tax statement or letter from the company that you work for. |
