For first stage processing they select lots of names 125,000 knowing that many will not meet requirements (only 7000 places) and fail at interview. Before a second selection can be made most of the first people must fail. With visa cancelled for 2015 then a second round is VERY unlikely. No point in people holding breath till end of year. If you have failed now then move on to something else in life. 1 Like |

sowu You did not say the type of visa that you want. Visitor or Buisiness However at first sight you seem to have good ties to return. If you have sufficient funds for your fare and accomodation (and are not using all your funds up) You look ok. |

The visa officials have ways to establish the truth of bank statements and banks do co-operate with them. I will give one simple example so that you can try to understand. Visa official will look at statement presented and then ask "Is the closing balance XXXXX?" or " Is the last transaction XXXXX" These are questions that bank will answer and show up any problem. Remember they have discretion to refuse visa. Any doubt then NO VISA and possible ban. We have heard many such tales here. |

phemobay: justwise, please is it compulsory someone should leave money in d account after printing d statement for visa purpose... cos when i printed my statement i later remove d money, do u tink dis can pose an issue?Likely to cause BIG BIG issue. The idea is that the money will be there for use on the trip. UKBA / visa are likely to check account with bank and find no funds! Big wahalla. could be seen as fraud and get 10 yr ban in worst case. |

I would rather take medicine Bought from a pharmacy in America than risk anything bought or prescribed in Nigeria. Even if it came from a hospital or Doctor, too much corruption and fake drugs. But it's your death! |

Wiki says Nigeria ineligible from 2015 lottery, too many Nigerians already in USA! The Diversity Immigrant Visa program is a United States congressionally mandated lottery program for receiving a United States Permanent Resident Card. It is also known as the Green Card Lottery.
