niyimeg: PLEASE VE GOT AN OFFER AT BIRMINGHAM CITY UNIVERSITY TO STUDY MSC IN MANAGEMENT AND FINANCE...PLEASE WHICH ACCOMODATION IS CHEAPER BTW ON CAMPUS AND OFF CAMPUS AND WHAT IS THE PROBABILITY OF GETTING A PARTTIME JOB DURING MY STUDY PROGRAM AND WHICH TYPE OF JOBS....TNX
You must stop posting all in capitals. It's like you are shouting.

Birmingham is a big city with much unemployment.
There is a very large Indian and Packistani comunity who will never give even menial jobs to African.
West indian community is separate but beware of drugs and gangs.
Plenty of ethnic foods in some areas and central market.

Birmingham City University is a new school, not one of the old respected universities.

Travel › UK Plans More Visa Interviews For Students by worry359(op): 5:15pm On Dec 12, 2012
Things are going to get tougher for school visa applicants.

More people applying for visas to study in the UK are to undergo face-to-face interviews, rather than just paper checks, the home secretary has said.

Theresa May said that from next April border staff would question more than 100,000 people to "root out abuse" of the system,

She pledged to help end the use of visas as a "backdoor route" to work.
Potential students are likely to be quizzed on their knowledge of English and details of the course they are planning to study.

Okeytimi
There is no piont in desparatly posting in capitals on many threads.
Read slowly and try to understand.
You were illegal overstayer.
For your driving offence you could be facing several criminal charges
Driving without a licence
Driving without insurance (automatic without licence)
Was the vehicle taxed and have MOT?

Your lawyer will allways say to fight the case because he will always be paid!!!
The longer the case runs the more he earns.

You face ban for overstay and ban for criminal charges.

YOU MUST UNDERSTAND you are not getting back into UK as a LEGAL visitor,

You need to move your life on now whatever that takes.

Politics › UK Aid 'not Improving Nigerian Education' by worry359(op): 7:17am On Nov 20, 2012
Millions of pounds of UK government aid to Nigerian schools has failed to produce any major improvement in pupil learning, an independent watchdog says.

The Independent Commission for Aid Impact said the aid scheme was being undermined by a shortage of effective teachers and a lack of local support.

So far £102m has been spent in 10 Nigerian states, with a further £126m committed to 2019.

oxatto: Hello Nairalanders and Vic please i just got my Pack from VFS wednessday this was the reply i got inside my pack, i was denied the visa and this was said:

You have stated that you are a part time trainee earning 30,000 Naira a Month. However,
you failed to provide any satisfactory evidence of your earnings.
you are Unmarried, with no dependent children.
None of the money enpended on this venture is your own.
i do not therefore consider that you have demonstrated to me enough close ties,
I am therefore not satisfied that your Circumstances are as claimed.
visible assets and personal responsibilities in your personal and economical circumstances that necessitate your presence in Nigeria to satisfy me that, on the balance of probabilities, you are genuinely seeking entry to the UK as a visitor for a period not exceeding 6 months as required by Rule 41 (i) of HC 395 and intend to leave UK at the end of the period as stated by you as required by Rule 41 (ii) of HC 395.
Furthermore, you state that your sponsor is your brother in law.
However you have not provided any evidence to suggest that you are related as claimed, despite having the opportunity to do so. There are number of document that you could have submitted with your application to confirm your relationship. in the absenceof such document, i am not satified that he is your Uncle and that he is genuinely prepared to sponsor you. Therefore, on the balance of probabilities, i am not satisfied that you will be maintained and accomodated in the UK without working or having rescourse to public funds or are able to meet the cost of return or an onward journey as required by paragraph, 41 (vi) and (vii) of HC395.

i have there refused your application because i am not satisfied, on the balance of probabilities, that you meet all of the requirement of relevant paragraph of the United Kingdom Immigration Rules.
You MUST understand that at the moment you YOU DO NOT QUALIFY FOR ANY VISA

Look at the bold sections of your posting and try to understand.

You BIG problem is that your account does not show where the funds have come from.
You have not proven link to sponsor..
But Most important you have not shown good proof that you will return home after visit.
You must forget travel untill you can settle yourself down and answer the questions calmly and honestly.
Just "boosting" your bank account will not help.
Hi. I just wanna make enquiries. My sister is some months pregnant. She has a 2yrs visiting uk visa which will xpire In January. But she wanna apply again for visiting visa next month becos she is planning to go an have a baby in the uk. Is there a penalty for having a baby over there using visiting visa?
Going to UK to have baby on public funds is dishonest and illegal.
Will you stand up in church and say that your baby was born by you stealing funds from a country where you have no rights.
Also there is no immigration status for the baby and mother may well get ban.
This is an illegal action which reflects on honest Nigerian visa applicants. No person should give advice!!!!

Bilston Community College loses UK Border Agency licence

The UK Border Agency has revoked the licence of a Black Country college, meaning dozens of international students may no longer be eligible to study there.

Agency officials said the action had been taken as Bilston Community College was "not fulfilling [its] duties".

They said the college's "Tier 4 Visa" licence was revoked on 26 October, with immediate effect.

You will probably need a letter confirming that you can still join the course after it has started.
You may have to join the next course, only your school can confirm this.

The detail of the refusal is as thus:
You ave declared no refusals of a visa to any country, including the UK. However, d records show that in 2007 you made an applicatn for a student visa which was subsequently refused. In that application you submitted a passport with a diff DOB.
You have made false representation and failed to declare fact material to this application. The misrepresentatn and concealment of material facts undermines ur stated intentions to the extent that im not satisfied that u r bein truthful abt the pur pose and duration of ur proposed visitand therfore nt satisfied.
I there4 refuse ur applicatn under para 41 and 320(7a). On what ground can he appeal?
False representation!
Probably ten year ban

If your friend (or you) is only playing for an amateur (unpaid) hobby team then there is no way that they will qualify for working visa.
If you stay as illegal then you will never get profesional place.
The first thing that they will do is check your status and you will be deported with ban.
You will not get visit visa to look for job even playing football.
In your story you are desparate not to go home.
This is very bad as visa officer needs proof that you will go home or proof of well paying job offer.

I can see two problems
If the original visa was for study starting last year and she defered the course the the visa has probably been automaticaly cancelled.
If shee is pregnant then before she even boards an aircraft or on landing in UK someone will need to see that she can pay health care for birth.

I think no chance
She needs new visa with letter from school
School will need to know that she will loose time for birth and she needs hospital money as well as study and maintenance money.
