graceamazing:Huh, just seeing this...pls what is embarrassing about moston ![]() |
I try never to form opinions or bother about politics because I see all Nigerian politicians as lizards, selfish, hopelessly self serving and myopic animals. But really? Is GEJ the best PDP has to offer Nigeria? as in really? sincerely....really? seriously? That is my 5 mins of thinking about Nigerian politics. |
We produce about same as puerto rico which has less than 4% of Nigerian population . Nigeria is maybe a couple of tens of million people less than Brazil in population and generates only 4% of Brazil's produce. It is shameful. It is a F minus scorecard. |
major466:I agree and am sure it will be less than 0.78%...106, 000 registered Nigerians living in Britain?...of course their data will not take into consideration the undocumented Nigerians. It also probably excludes Nigerians with dual citizenships (Euro/American-Nigerians etc). |
Dammytrager:It was when i was very young and was in a car entering into OAU a long time ago at the entrance gate i saw the security personnel using the long under vehicle security mirror to check underneath cars...it was a little interesting, i wouldn't say OAU was difficult to enter, just that their checks were funny when you want to enter. In any case I am now used to the device. I have now seen it used in a lot of films...hollywood films but not nollywood. MHO

kahal29:apparently one of them is GEJ's pal http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-11131126 |

See as dem just dey open mouth abuse one of the very few remaining true old, selfless, trustworthy Nigerians wey remain for dis country..abeg you our leaders of tomorrow...go buy books o, take time study dem abeg. “Study the past if you would define the future.” ― Confucius |
The Nigerian idiom do the needful - means shoot to deceive? |
free2ryhme: my kwesionFlatmates, nothing out of the world there...nothing at all... |

Many that attended or still attend OAU (including my humble self) chose to go there because somebody in the family was there (father, mother, brother etc). Now as okija don see good school, am sure we will see his aburos and younger friends go there.. |
GEJ and his wife are befitting of Nigeria... |
southern African countries in general are xenophobic..IMHO |
how much is 3000 pounds that desperate people can not get from illegal means like yahoo yahoo... ![]() If they want people to go to uk and leave, they should promise interest on the bond and many people will be going and coming....that way uk economy will also grow because they spend money on shopping... |
oh yes, we loved being in port harcourt during the reign of Peter Odili when PH was so much fun. How the cult boys used to display around town killing and maiming in the hotspots of the city...guns could go off anywhere at any time... how i loved the day that ocada man took me on that short cut via sangana. Not left out were areas that were not directly affected but the machete wielding boys at night in rumuola made sure visitors to the city were amused. Silly woman. |
It is a major time bomb truly. All those that think it is a joke are either still in school or are of school age but not attending school. Irrespective of El-rufai's ideology, unemployment is a major issue in Nigeria that is being swept under the carpet... |
One of the killers was ranting about his country being left alone by the west ors something...which country? I think this individuals are plain confused childish minds. Although no one can say he knows how to raise perfect children but methinks children in diaspora need to be allowed to fully appreciate and understand their origin...and not think they are alone or different and the world is against them... |
i hear there are many who don't show for census...the Councillor is councillor to everyone, those with pali and those without. Jokes aside, maybe he meant to say there are 1million Nigerians in the UK - london and outside london. |
Bisade Ologunde...na him |
Did she not evade that Alams pardon question like a pro? smooth operator Ma.. |
with all the coverage on boston bomb blast...you may need to check for repeat times |
I find myself saying this greeting frequently - long life to the woman and more prosperity to the boy. |
This is very good...We need people to connect the dots and let the citizens and especially the leaders/rulers see the cause and effect relationship of corruption and poverty. |

Michaeljones36: What's going to happen to all his stolen money?Nigerians need to properly educate themselves of Nigeria's history and correctly identify its issues and their causes. So that when the wind of change blows (my prayer it does soon), innocent people are not wrongfully judged... |
The war on corruption in government is so feeble and has only managed to convict a handful. It is very puerile and there is just no sane excuse for the government to pardon Alamieyeseigha. This just emboldens those stealing government funds...very disgraceful. |
Alams is now pardoned. For all his sufferings, GEJ should send him on holiday to the UK where he can be a guest of Her Majesty....it will be a very long and memorable holiday... |
kudos to a |
Some people see and hear about this and are thinking of things they can do to change the situation - unfortunate thing is when they start to harbor thoughts of how they can also make small money (GEJ mentality), the devil and mammon will prove again that it is one. We never forget Kenny Martins, OBJ's in-law with the Police Equipment Foundation and the tens of billions of Naira that grew legs and then wings...na today |
Northerners or no Northerners, my guy GEJ you are O.Y.O. Afterall, unlike Obama you don't wake up each day thinking about how to positively affect the life of the masses by improving the economy (healthcare, infrastructure, security etc) but that of your immediate friends/praise singers and their families. Pffftttttt |
The drug being touted is not an anti-HIV drug but one used for the treatment of diarrhea associated with anti-HIV drugs. Prof Iwu has had controversies trailing him in the academia before he even became Electoral Umpire...This does not preclude the fact that he could be a good research scientist. |
