Sanchez01:
What is the name of your phantom history book that prepared the unfortunate unleavened bread that you have chosen to dish out to supposed IPOB members on here?

If Ojukwu didn't singularly declare Biafra, could you please mention a couple of names that pressured him into declaring Biafra? I understand how well you guys play the blame game. The other day, someone claimed Ojukwu was threatened, hence the reason he 'abandoned' the war. Funny bunch.

Again, I'll educate you for free. The pogrom in the North was returned by angry Igbo mobs and TIVs, Igalas alongside a host of other ethnic groups living among the Igbos in the Eastern region were killed in a reprisal attack just so the North could feel the heat as well.

Perhaps, you also didn't know that the pogrom was triggered after the coup plotters went about posting posters with graphic details of how they killed Northern military echelons.

Maybe you would tell me Effiong was the one who convinced Ojukwu that he could win by giving farmers-turned-soldiers five bullets each to go war.

You could twist and turn history like analogue National television, but it won't blemish the truth in any way.

Just so you know, NO MUTILATED BODIES WERE RETURNED ON BOTH SIDES. Who returned them and with which method of transportation were bodies in their huge numbers returned?

If indeed Ojukwu was all about he that is down need fear no fall, perhaps you could also explain why he fled, leaving Effiong in charge to surrender AFTER LEADING OVER THREE MILLION IGBOS TO STARVATION.

Being unlearned is one thing, being an agitator that is unlearned and uninformed is another and the latter is a whole lot difficult to handle.
You know little to nothing about every fallacy you wrote up there!

The road to Biafra

Three days later, May 30, 1967, Lt. Col Ojukwu, a Nigerian soldier of Igbo extraction declared an “independent sovereign state of the name and title of the Republic of Biafra,” officially excising the Eastern Region from Nigeria. Ojukwu based his action on the resolution, four days earlier, on May 26, 1967, of a joint conference of the Eastern consultative assembly and leaders of thought that asked him to declare the Eastern region as a separate republic at an “early practicable date”.

Government of Eastern Nigeria (1966)
The consultative assembly after a review of the above incident, the pogrom, commanded Ojukwu to either carry out their edict or step down. It is understandable that Dr. Aluko, a Yoruba, who although had spent a lengthy time in Igbo land, had no concept or understanding of Ohacracy, the collective servant leadership form of democracy, where the leader is a mere spokesperson who carries out the dictates of Oha (the people), should make the statement below:
"On the night before he was to declare secession, Adebayo called me that despite the assurances by Ojukwu, he learnt that he was going to declare secession tomorrow. I said I spoke to him last night and he did not tell me that he was going to declare secession. So, I called him and said: “Emeka, I have just learnt from the Head of State that you want to declare secession tomorrow.” He said, yes, that the people met and said if he wanted to continue to be military governor, he should either declare secession or quit. He said that to quit meant death. I said, “but you are a leader and a leader is not supposed to follow? People are supposed to follow the leader. Try and dissuade them from declaration. Let us see if we can do a number of things.”

should the man remain in a relationship that isn't working out or he should remain in a relationship that may end up in one of the party been in hospital or mortuary?
if the man and Doris are separated or divorced! I don't see the sin in these 2 adults getting together.
I think they found happiness with themselves.
Stella owes no one any explanation...
Her so called husband is an adulterer. U can only divorce on grounds of infidelity, extreme battering or no freedom to worship God by a unsupportive partner. Plus even when u get divorced, the Bible says you MUST not remarry (in other words, d Bible's encourages a reconciliation of both partners). But if u do go ahead to marry after a divorce, consider the action adulterous.

Dude stop fucking lying. They actually post what they do on social media. One thing you gotta love about society nowadays, everybody is trying to post everything on social media.

All IPOB do is drive around on motorcycle, blasting screen and someone speaking on a speakerphone about the date and what the sit at home is about. On all the video posted, that's ALL they do.

If that's harassment/intimidating to you then you need your head checked. Infact last year, the same sit at home was conducted, can you provide ONE evidence they harassed anyone to comply to it against their will. JUST ONE EVIDENCE.

The only reason you lots are wailing a lie is because the sit at home was succesful last year and majority complied and you pay by post lots fear it'll be successful again this year thus defeats the illogical nonsense you lots keep preaching about how "only few igbos support the Biafra."
Forget these epistle you are writing. These ipob miscreants employ the use of intimidation. If you own a shop in Onitsha and you dare open it on that day, you'll be dealt with seriously. Your store would be vandalized right in front of your eyes; plus you maybe going home with serious bruising.

If you doubt my words, try opening your lock up shop in Aba or Onitsha or along any major road and see.

I've been studying with witnesses for 5 or more years and hope to be baptized soon.
Truth is; the world hates the truth. Why would a "True Christian" think of joining the military? Can they imagine not just Jesus doing that, but the Apostles? Going over to fight other Christians in the opposite army just because they are from another country or geological location? We experienced such in the 2nd world war. German Christians fought American and British Christians! Is that what Christianity is all about.
We must remember that nationalism in itself, is a religion. You join your country's military, you are "brain washed into believing that your country's existence comes first before others, you are told to recite the national anthem of your country which in other words, is a form of allegiance or oath and you are told to die for your country if possible.
Are these characteristics of a True Christian?
Remember, Christ said you are no part of the world. Jehovah's witnesses aren't a part of this world in that they do not partake in such.

For our information: this earth does not belong only to man; animals and lesser species have a share of this world. After all, we were the last to be created (ask the bible). The bible condemns killing for fun in any guise. You can kill an animal for tangible reasons such as food, being attacked, clothing etc but not fun. Animals are souls!
I say these because of the unseeming "wickedness" of the "black man"! We kill everything we see. Its just bad! We don't learn, we don't study these creatures. What we know is; give the poor creature a native name and then kill it for nothing or food.
Its bad. We are excited when we see the western world educate us about the lives of these creatures even when they aren't found in their clime. Ours is to kill and destroy! We are just daft and grossly savage.
Lets change our attitude.
The moderators of this forum should desist gratifying such topics! Period!

Even after I thought they had difficulty styling their hair like afro black ladies; they still had some intricately designed hair look/styles.

Nevertheless, I'd like you to make a comparison with the Afro Hair look/style. Which is more flamboyant?

Take a look.

Abstain means to refrain or desist (do not accept) do not eat. It means have nothing to do with blood.
This is the current view of Jehovah's witnesses on the issue =
The bible gave a clear command Gen 9:3,4"Only flesh with its soul...it's BLOOD, you must not eat".For express blood transfusion,I do not take as there is a clear command in this regard.
However,There has been scientific and biological advancement:blood can now be broken to
1.Red blood Cell
2.White blood Cell
3.Blood Platelet

Inasmuch as its not biblically stated to avoid any of its component.
Individuals have a choice to choose any of its component (but not whole blood) what his/her conscience allow as deem fit.

Christianity EtcRe: When Are christians Permitted to KILL and Can A Christian Be A Soldier? by xaggar(m): 10:22am On Feb 05, 2017
The Bible’s Viewpoint.

When Is Self-Defence Justified?
A SUDDEN noise awakens you in the middle of the night. You hear footsteps. Someone has broken into your home. With your heart beating like a hammer in your chest, you fearfully wonder what you should do next.

This is a situation that anyone could face. Crime—even violent crime—is no longer limited to certain countries or big cities. In the resultant climate of fear, many people seek protection by purchasing weapons or learning martial arts. Some governments have enacted laws that give citizens the right to use deadly force to defend themselves. But what does the Bible say? Is a person ever justified in using force to defend himself or his family?

God Hates Violence

The Bible condemns violence and those who resort to it. The psalmist David said regarding Jehovah God: “Anyone loving violence His soul certainly hates.” (Psalm 11:5) God pronounced judgment against several ancient nations, including his own people, because of their violence and bloodshed. (Joel 3:19; Micah 6:12; Nahum 3:1) Even unintentional manslaughter resulting from carelessness was a serious crime under the Law given to Israel.—Deuteronomy 22:8.

The Bible exhorts individuals to avoid potential conflicts by pursuing peace every day. Violent struggles often begin with a heated exchange of words. The Bible observes: “Where there is no wood the fire goes out, and where there is no slanderer contention grows still.” (Proverbs 26:20) Calmness often defuses anger and deflects violent confrontation. The apostle Paul wrote: “If possible, as far as it depends upon you, be peaceable with all men.”—Romans 12:18.

When You Are Threatened

Pursuing peace does not guarantee that you will never face violent attack. Faithful worshippers of God throughout history have been victims of violent crime. (Genesis 4:8; Job 1:14, 15, 17) If a person is confronted by an armed robber, what should he do? Jesus instructed: “Do not resist him that is wicked.” (Matthew 5:39) He also said: “From him that takes away your outer garment, do not withhold even the undergarment.” (Luke 6:29) Jesus did not condone use of physical weapons to defend material possessions. If confronted by an armed robber, a wise person will not resist giving up his valuables. Surely, life is far more precious than belongings!

On the other hand, what if a person’s life is threatened by an assailant? A law that God gave to ancient Israel sheds light on this. If a thief was caught in the daytime and was killed, the assailant would be charged with murder. This was evidently because thievery did not carry the death penalty and the thief could have been identified and brought to justice. However, if an intruder was fatally struck at night, the householder could be exonerated because it would be difficult for him to see what the intruder was doing and to ascertain the intentions of the intruder. The householder could reasonably conclude that his family was under threat of harm and take defensive action.—Exodus 22:2, 3.

The Bible thus indicates that a person may defend himself or his family if physically assaulted. He may ward off blows, restrain the attacker, or even strike a blow to stun or incapacitate him. The intention would be to neutralize the aggression or stop the attack. This being the case, if the aggressor was seriously harmed or killed in such a situation, his death would be accidental and not deliberate.

The Best Protection

Clearly, there are circumstances under which reasonable self-defense is justified. People have a right to protect themselves and their loved ones from aggression and deadly harm. When escape is not possible, there is no Biblical injunction against reasonably defending ourselves. Still, the course of wisdom would be to do our best to avoid situations with a potential for violence.—Proverbs 16:32.

The Bible encourages us to “seek peace and pursue it” in all avenues of our life. (1 Peter 3:11) This is a practical formula that really contributes to peaceful living.
