Mikehot: I've long given up on Nigeria as country! Nigeria was first set up to service the economic interests of the thieving plunderers and slave traders that were the British! It's peoples achieved some limited measure of independence after 1st oct 1960, but everything unravelled with the coup of 1966, and at that point the country and its peoples were set on a downwards slippery slope and began a journey to be handed over to the northern fulani hegemony who were supported, aided and abetted by greedy, self-serving and rapacious house-niggers from the south! Things have never been the same ever since! |
Politics / Re: Ugwuanyi Direct Council Chairmen, Neighborhood Watch, Others To Man Land Borders by XANDERBOY85: 10:13am On Apr 30, 2020 |
ZUBY77: I think it's ok to relax the lockdown within a state, but non-essential inter-state movement should still be banned! And those allowed in should be checked for sympthoms, ensure they have facemasks and handsanitisers, and details taken so they can be monitored to ensure they leave after their business is done! |
Politics / Re: Ugwuanyi Direct Council Chairmen, Neighborhood Watch, Others To Man Land Borders by XANDERBOY85: 10:08am On Apr 30, 2020 |
Unless you're a independent country of your own, and have your own kinsmen manning your borders, it's an excercise in futility trying to prevent cross-border movement even during a lockdown! Those who want to flout the no movement ban (among them would be stubborn and idiotic Igbos as well) could easily use a unmanned/hidden apian-way or bribe the plenty corrupt and hungry police/security officials to turn a blind eye! |

Politics / Re: THE IMO MIASMA: It's 100 Days Already - Steve Osuji by XANDERBOY85: 9:44am On Apr 29, 2020 |
What confronts us now is a Imo state that has been hijacked by a group of malevolent scoundrels who, on a good day, see Igbos generally as irritants who are beneath them and need to be cheated and held down! They have found a shameless crook in the name of 'hope' and used him to once again derail the train of progress in the state; the first time they did this was in 1983 when the coupist buhari first appeared on the scene! But for buhari and his wicked anti-Igbo agenda, Imo would have progressed much more than they already have! |

Redcrafton: Hehehehehe When an excited Banji Akintoye makes to hand over the acceptance letter to the dudes you just listed, they'll derisively look at it with corner-eye without even bothering to touch it, and one of them will say, 'wetin be this....we send una message? better return that nonsense, abi you no see say we dey happy for 'one Nigeria'? oloriburuku like you!' |

FrLukas: Dude, i find the whole 'Mazi kanu is dead' thing quite amusing, and wouldn't go out of my way to respond to peddlers of such stories the way you lot are reacting to the 'Buhari is dead' theory! You claim you're not losing sleep over anything, but check your past posts and see how a inordinate amount of your time on nairaland has been spent on this story! You kid no one.....not even yourself! You claim he promoted hatred and bile 'while he was alive'? I suppose before Mazi kanu started his campaign for secession, that Nigerians were living in peace, harmony and the Fulani/Yoruba/Igbo/etc were falling over themselves to give each other bear hugs!? And now that 'he's dead' as you claim, Nigerians will go back to a tranquil, loving and happy state of nirvana....just like they had before the 'pesky Kanu' appeared on the scene? Yoruba indeed! Given the benefit of hindsight, it doesn't make sense for any Yoruba to be worshipping that animal the way you do! You must be Fulani! |

They didn't know all this when they signed up for the job abi? When the going was good and they were coining in the money....no wahala! But the moment shi't hits the fan and they're called upon to live up to their oaths and save lives, all of a sudden they remember they have poor conditions of service and renumeration, and proceed to leg it like Usain Bolt! 5 Likes 1 Share |

Now they've been called upon to live up to their hypocratic oath more than ever before, they've all scaled the back fence and gone AWOL! 44 Likes 5 Shares |

These kind words of facts expressed by Prof Tamuno are highly appreciated, but they leave me sad at what Nigeria has become just because some are terrified of Ndigbo! Classic case of cutting your nose to spite your face! Nigeria has so regressed and sunk into despair and hopelessness that i doubt the situation can be salvaged at all. 16 Likes 1 Share |

Please shut up! I'd prefer living under a Mazi Kanu 'dictatorship' than a 'one Nigeria' 'democracy', 'freedom', 'unity' and 'peace' where a so called 'compatriot' despises me to the extent of wanting me dead.....a country where so called 'comaptriots' have sleepless nights at the thought of me being their president just because i'm Igbo! I don't agree with Mazi Kanu on eveything, but what i do know is his 'worst' decision for me as Igbo is a million times better than the 'best' decision of certain 'Nigerian compatriots' towards me as Igbo! 2 Likes |
