Larryallfather: If they didn’t ask for money, then they’re either ritualists or religious/ethnic bigots who are so far gone in their hate that they can rape and kill a girl from the religion or ethnicity they despise! Don’t be surprised....this type of evil has been going on for decades in Nigeria! 2 Likes |

chariisGRACE: That ‘confraternity’ could also be a way of throwing them off the scent! It’s working with you! Which confraternity will kidnap a girl, rape and murder her, and then try to make the job of catching her killers easier by narrowing the culprits down to the confraternities on her campus? 1 Like |

ORIENTATION101: I don’t think you’re in any position to mock any state in Nigeria seeing as you’re all in the same boat! More so, Enugu that -even with its present lousy governor- would still beat your state in most socio-economic indices! Being part of this shithole of a county, one would think you would hang your head in shame while supporting its dissolution so your people can be masters of their own destiny! But instead, all you’re interested in is measuring dick with Igbos! Pathetic! |

janedonez: Leave 'my generation' out of it and try to make some sense! Basically, what you're saying is that year after year, decade after decade, VC after VC.....that UNN has been mismanaging its federal allocations! While conversely, the likes of ABU, OAU, UI and UNILAG have been excellent and exemplary in managing theirs! Is this your argument? Since we're talking of billions of naira here, can you provide links to news stories of the many incidences of corruption by the UNN admin' over the past decades, and equally show stories/links to the subsequent trials and convictions for theft! |
Education / Re: My Visit To The University Of Nigeria (pics, Video) by XANDERBOY85: 2:34am On Jun 27, 2020 |
darfay: Horseshit! You think you're clever abi? You bring out one isolated year out of the tens of years both Universities have existed as federally funded institutions.....a year when GEJ was president, so it doesn't come as a surprise UNN was up there amongst the other elite Universities in funding.....you bring just one year to prove what? Even using this 'proof' you just provided, it shows ABU getting more than UNN (though the difference isn't that much)! Knowing what we know of 'one Nigeria' and how its political-economy has disproportionately favoured some regions/ethnicities over others, it stands to reason that the cummulative advantage over the years/decades that ABU had over UNN in funding would add up to a huge difference! The aforementioned notwithstanding, the 'extra help under the table' (that's not on any records) that ABU would have received over the decades from the 70s to date (when the hegemonistic and anti-Igbo Fulani class were calling the shots) would have widened the infrastructural gap between them and UNN even further! We all saw how Buhari (thinking it wouldn't get out) told the then head of the World-Bank to focus their financial interventions mainly in the north! Now if we weren't fortunate and this didn't leak out, we would have been none the wiser and if we just looked at the federal allocations to the states/regions in analysing who is doing well and who isn't.....we wouldn't get the full picture would we? This is 'one Nigeria' where records, data and statistics, at best, should be taken with a pinch of salt....and at worst, aren't worth the paper they're written on! |
Education / Re: My Visit To The University Of Nigeria (pics, Video) by XANDERBOY85: 9:46am On Jun 26, 2020 |
squash47: I'm not gonna join some ignorant folks that abuse UNN and their Enugu campus for not having the kind of structures comparable to a university like say ABU Zaria! These two universities were taken over by the federal gov't since around the 70s to date, so you're free to reach your own conclusions as to why they both didn't experience similar investments in infrastructure! UNN is managing well with the cards they've been dealt....though i reckon they could do more by way of landscaping! At the end of the day, a university is judged mainly on the human resources it nurtures, trains and sends out to the world, and in this regard UNN is among the top two in the country! 82 Likes 2 Shares |

slam7000: This is why i insist Ndigbo MUST separate oursleves, one way or the other, from the Yoruba and Fulani....either under the framework of a COMPLETELY restructured 'one Nigeria' or through secession! We cannot reach our full potential as a people sharing the same country with these two ethnicities under the current dispensation....no offence! If this is the kind of anti-Igbo sentiments they display in public, only heaven knows what they do behind the scenes to sabotage Igbo interests! |
Politics / Re: Igbo Group Protests Exclusion In FG's $22.7 Billion Plan, To Take Legal Actions by XANDERBOY85: 11:16pm On Jun 25, 2020 |
Nyamuri: Considering your choice of moniker, no sensible Igbo would see the need to get into a argument with a obvious bigot whose mind is made up on the issue abi-initio! But i'll humour you just this once! The billions of dollars worth of projects from the loan going to the Fulani north-west (that all of us will have to pay back), are they being shared with any other region? This 2nd Niger bridge is your 'get out of jail' card that you're always quick to refer to when there's questions of what the evil Buhari/APC gov't is doing in the south-east. It's used by you Igbo hating bigots to try and advance your argument that Buhari is 'fair' to Igbos and hence Ndigbo should be satisfied with his gov't! A bridge costing less than $500 million dollars and whose work was stopped when Buhari became president in 2015, only to be restarted again few months to the 2019 elections so you can have something to point to that Buhari/APC are doing something in the south-east! A bridge whose federal gov't counterpart funding has already been paid (if not in full then partly); which Julius-Berger is part financing; which Buhari says part of the Abacha loot is going towards its construction; and which will be tolled when opened for use. All this money is already gone or going into it yet you want Ndigbo to be satisfied that a $22 billion loan has been taken and we're told Ndigbo share in this is -yet again- for the 2nd Niger bridge, while more than $6 billion is set aside for projects in Buharis' north-west! It's clear to everyone that you lot are greedy scammers and believe you can take Ndigbo for a ride! |

Politics / Re: Aviation Ministry Gets ICRC Approval To Concession Four Airports by XANDERBOY85: 10:05am On Jun 24, 2020 |
chukel: He's right! But for the kind of apparent and stealthy wicked machinations against AIIA that we're highlighting on this thread, AIIA would have been more viable than the airport in Kano! Take the runway they're reconstructing at Enugu for instance; compare the way they went about it with how fast and efficiently they moved when they were fixing the one at Abuja a few years back! AIIA was closed without work starting for months while they claimed they were arranging things! The one of Abuja; a date was announced, money was set aside, and they got on with it on the day announced, with work even being completed before schedule! The new termnal at Enugu was being built alongside and at the same pace as the other four! That is up until Buhari and Sirika appeared on the scene.....from then onwards the fortunes of AIIA, that hitherto was on the up-and-up, made an about turn and began heading south! You would have expected that given the time AIIA has been shut for the reconstruction of the runway, that they would have used the opportunity to finish the new terminal, but (last i heard) it's still been left as the empty shell it was when it was abandoned in 2015! Sirika got extra-budgetary funds to increase and improve on the scope of works at the new terminals at the other four airports while ignoring AIIA just as they're ignoring it now with the concession plans! Now tell me what chance AIIA Enugu stands to compete on a equal footing with the airport in Kano when it's faced with ill-intentioned bigots like Buhari and his boy Sirika? Tell me! |
Politics / Re: Aviation Ministry Gets ICRC Approval To Concession Four Airports by XANDERBOY85: 2:44am On Jun 24, 2020 |
janedonez: All regions/ethnicities elite are greedy and selfish but the Igbo elite worse pass! They're so timid and naive and don't know how to fight their corner or reslise when they're being cheated! It's clear the intentions of Buhari and Sirika are to hold AIIA down while they use 'one Nigeria' and their control of gov't at the centre to grab more benefits and opportunities for the airports in their regions! This is clear as daylight to everyone but the likes of Chidi Izuwa and the Igbo dumbfucks in the national assembly and gov't! During the time of GEJ and Senator Stella in gov't, the four airports these bigots in gov't today are favouring were being treated equally and developed simultaneously with AIIA Enugu, and i'm sure Buhari and Sirika would have been seething with anger as this was against the post-war script of dealing with the 'nyamurees' and holding them and their region down while they steal unfair advantages over our heads! The plan is to give Kano (and codedly, Kaduna) a headstart.....giving them the benefit of investor funds (this is in addition to the extra funds budgeted for the airport terminals at Kano, Abuja, Lagos and Port Harcourt while they ignored the one at Enugu) while keeping AIIA Enugu within the control of the federal gov't so they can continue to deny it funds and attention to see how far they can go in relegating it and destroying its viabilty and ability to compete with the other big four! When people ask how Nigeria is cheating Ndigbo and being unfair towards us, this is just another example! Ndigbo have survived the evil plans aimed at them since 1970, and will surely survive Buhari and his wickedness as well! 47 Likes 5 Shares |
Crime / Re: 55-Year-Old Man Killed In Imo By Known Persons (Graphic Photos) by XANDERBOY85: 11:09am On Jun 23, 2020 |
Angelfrost: Just listen to yourself! You're a Nigerian and are arguing that he can only have been so murdered by someone he knew and that the murder is likely 'premeditated'! If he had an argument with anyone, why would they kill him and then go through the effort of butchering him up like that? It's more likely this crime happened for ritualistic purposes or from a deepseated hatred for the man based on sick and mislplaced ethnic or religious reasons! What's the difference between this and the butchering of Igbos in the 60s with pregnant women having their stomachs split open and the babies torn out? Igbos need to seriously ask themselves if they want their children to inherit this kind of world....sharing the same country with murderous, primitive-minded vermin! |
Crime / Re: 55-Year-Old Man Killed In Imo By Known Persons (Graphic Photos) by XANDERBOY85: 10:56am On Jun 23, 2020 |
Kollysman1: He's right! How come all of a sudden you're hearing of all these butcherings in the south-east? We know ourselves, and know the kind of crimes we can say Igbos may commit....this wanton butchering and dismemberment of bodies with vital parts missing is not a crime Igbos are know for! How come all this is now happening and coincides with the flooding into the south-east of hordes of northern elements...almajiri, IDPs, herdsmen, foreign islamists, economic migrants, etc? We've seen new settlements appearing all over the south-east, not to mention the ones hiding away in the bushes! |

And i've noticed lately they've been doing this more when the victims are Igbo or the crime was comitted in the south-east! They allow the posting of these graphic pics and then rush to place it on the front page! What's the benefit of showing the butchered body of the victim when his or her family may be on the thread viewing them? Some cynics may even think a few will get sick gratification from viewing the pics since the victim is from the ethnic group they so despise! Sick! I'm outta here! |

Topsic70: Dude, you put yourself in a position to receive insults by saying a Nigerian has little or no right to make a tweet on an environmental problem he feels strongly about just because you tag him 'ipob yuut'....so lap it up! Care to show me where or when IPOB or Mazi Kanu have come out to clap for the likes of Ohaneze, Prof' Ben Nwabueze, et al? The only Igbo politician i know of that majority of secession seeking Igbos have a soft spot for is Senator Abaribe! Any wonder you evil lot can't stand him!? IPOB and all sensible, proud and independent-minded Igbo have always maintained a big part of our problem as a people stems from the type of naive or greedy, selfish and lilly-livered politicians/elite we're saddled with and who are supported, promoted or given relevance by 'one Nigeria'! Of course there are genuine ones that are worried about the present situation of Ndigbo as a people, but they are not as vocal or prominent as these naive or slavish, 'one Nigeria' ones, and it's the latter that gives you the opportunity to post thrash which you know to be untrue! Care to flesh out your accusation of 'Igbos making a January 15, 1966 ethnic-cleansing mistake'? I'd like to hear more about this! |

You really this dumb or are you just putting on an act!? I'm sure you've heard what IPOB and Mazi Kanu have to say about these greedy and selfish politicians who are probably worse and more useless than their colleagues from the south-west and core north in the sense that they don't even know how to fight their corner and protect the interests of their constituency within the framework of Nigerian partisan-politics and governance!
