Corrinthians:Dude, Ndigbo would sooner take the advice of a rattle snake before listening to a vile Igbo hater like you! All Fani-Kayode said was that he dated Bianca! It's you that's editorialising the entire incident by saying he once claimed he did whatever to her, juts to try and stoke negative emotions from us towards him! I do know Igbos once had arguments with Fani-Kayode on print and social media concerning a raft of issues, but today all that is water under the bridge and the fact we're now firm friends shows Ndigbo do not hold malice and bear a long grudge that can last for decades, unlike some ethnic groups! Reno is spot on! El-Rufai and Buhari are two sides of the same coin, and going by El-Rufai and his families utterances and antecedents, it's obvious they are a firm part of the Fulani oligarchy that see Ndigbo as their problem....they see Ndigbo as a people that should be marginalised and held down like Buhari has been doing not just since 2015 but right from the late 60s! |
helinues:When you say 'you people' who are you refering to.....Igbos in general or IPOB? If anyone said Igbos or IPOB were at some point cosying up to Sowore or Fani-Kayode, then maybe i'd agree. But a nonentity like Kemi...because she sits in front of her computer and says all sorts? I don't think so! |
21savages:You think Christ would be more dissappointed in them two for their sins than he would be in you and i for ours? Let he who is without sin caste the first stone! |
I remember when i was in secondary school, i used to love it when any celebration on sunday meant we had to go to Holy Trinity for High Mass. That part of Onitsha (where the Catholic and Anglican churches have their headquarters) always felt like another world entirely: tree-lined leafy streets that gave the area a cooling/serene effect, and full of nice buildings! |
21savages:Funny thing is, Jesus Christ will not treat them the way some of you sanctimonious, holier-than-thou pharisees would! |
Moneywomen17:You need to shut da fuc/k up! You come across as one repugnant and vile Igbo hating bigot! What was the point in someone waking up one morning and looking to list states in Nigeria that lead in search for gay porn if not out of mischief! The person that led that useless research is probably cut from the very same rag as your pathetic self and hence had ulterior motives! |
Lipscomb:This here is exactly why this thread was created, placed in the politics section and allowed to remain here for this length of time.....to abuse Igbos! ![]() I know threads i've created or was the first or second to comment on and a particular mod will rush to hide the entire thread in some dead section in order to kill it! Pray, what is the nexus between this thread and politics....anyone? And to the dude i've just quoted...what's your own ethnicity? Maybe you lot are entirely 100% straight. ![]() |
Nenyezz:That was the OPs intention ab-initio, I suspect he has another moniker he uses for e-fights and dick measuring! |
If Obiano can pull this off....to satisfactory world-class standards, then he would become the best governor from the south-east since the times of Dee Sam Mbakwe. |
Happy to see progress being made. It's also important to emphasis the need to adhere to social-distancing and hygiene standards. There should be a stand-by tanker for running water, and toilet facilities to ensure this. |
Originality007:.......Or Daura to be specific? ![]() |
It's this same stubborness and believing rules that apply to others don't apply to you because you're a high-ranking gov't official....this is what led to Abba Kyaris' death if we're to be honest! Why he felt travelling to Germany when he did was a good idea, despite the high incidence at the time of infections and fatalities from the virus is what i will never understand! |
So is the story fake? |
UdyOgwoUde:That's a possiblity! The poor guy would have been under a lot of stress and probably scared going into work with all this COVID-19 all over the place! Him having the virus is a nother possibility, though it doesn't make sense that one will not show the sympthoms (which is what takes a toll on the health of the individual and eventually leads to their death if not managed) and just drop dead one day! Unless of course he had underlying illnesses like HBP or diabetes. |
ValCon888:The entire state should be sealed and on lockdown for at least a month, while the authorities try to get the situation under control! I always suspected that the core north would present a problem in trying to manage this outbreak due to their ignorance, high population density, poverty, high rates of illiteracy and over-reliance on the will of Almighty Allah! |
These useless doctors seem to diagnose malaria for almost all of the cases. The sudden spike in illnesses and deaths doesn't seem to raise a red flag for them! |
No social-distancing? ![]() |
Punchline33:Another problem is that states tend to act independently of each other, and think once they close their state borders and send any suspected cases back to the state they were coming from that they are safe, forgetting they're all still part of one country! There's hardly any synergised approach to tackling movement of stubborn Nigerians from state to state! |
TOPCRUISE:This is exactly why even if the rest of the world manages to get a handle on this COVID-19 thing, Nigeria will be another case altogether! We're just too stubborn and set in our ways, and feel we know best more than the professionals! Any wonder China is having a problem with re-infection rates soaring again in some clusters of African communities! |
jchioma:Most likely it is! They probably were treating the person at home with local herbs and stuff until his situation got worse, or they initially took him to some quack local hospital instead of following the proper protocol the gov't has outlined and been drumming into everyones ears for weeks now! Hopefully the police also adhered to the social-distancing rules too! When i say a lot of Nigerians are very stubborn and can act daft and like semi-illiterates atimes, this is a good exmple of what i mean! |
SpecialAdviser:He's looking the business i must admit! |
Biafrarep:As welcoming as i am, i also support your submission! Mazi Kanu and IPOB should stop mentioning Benue, Kogi and Edo! They have a large concentration of muslims and i find them to be largely sympathetic to the core muslim north hegemony! However, if any Igboid communities from these states want to be included, they themselves should reach out and make representations to IPOB! A new Biafran nation that doesn't sieve out these northerncentric groups/communities would be sabotaged from within by these groups, and what we see happening in the core muslim north where they allow foreign jihadist elements to come into Nigeria to cause grief and mayhem will equally happen in the new Biafra! |
Waylex21:Hehehehehe ![]() They will ask Christians to stand up, and these ones will follow stand! |
So if Wike didn't win the highest number of validly cast votes in 2019, who did? |
Ancientbeing:Demonstration of crase! ![]() |
Chai...see how yams plenty like sand! The villagers will whip up some delicious delicacies of ofe nsala and pounded yam....that's a certainty! ![]() |

candidtalk:Far be it from me to want to interrupt una wankfest and dick measuring contest, but all you posted up there is utter tripe! There's little to seperate the Igbo and Yoruba when it comes to trumpeting their achievements on forums such as this! Where the two differ is that while the Igbo are generally unapologetic, bold and unpretentious about their bragging, the Yoruba on the other hand generally pretent not to brag as much....pretend to be modest, and pretend to be humble! The Yoruba seem to be so preoccupied with getting one over on the Igbo that anytime the Igbo brag about anything....even when the Yoruba aren't mentioned, such bragging rubs you up the wrong way....you become restless and unable to sleep! It's almost like you feel Nirvana/Uhuru has been attained and all is well with the Yoruba race when you believe you've bettered the Igbo in anything! It's almost like you measure the success of your ethnicity on how you measure up with the Igbo! This -coupled with you still feeling comfortable in 'one Nigeria'- shows a lack of ambition and drive to be world beaters, and if you don't change your attitude soon and aim higher...aim to take on the world in your own right -not under the 'protection' of 'one Nigeria'- then you'd be condemned to be local players and local champions for a much longer time to come! I'd have given same advice to the Igbo too, but it's clear Ndigbo have realised the limitations 'one Nigeria' has placed on them and hence their agitations to be masters of their own destiny! |
masterflowx:I'm indifferent! I'm more moved by all the hundreds of my brothers and sisters who have, one way or the other, met with untimely death at the hands of Buhari and his bloodthirsty security goons! |
