If APC decide to zone senate president to the North when the North already produce vice president, they will agitate the south and if they take up arms, couple with bandits and Boko boys, the country will burn.
I want to assume APC knows better than to be emotional and accelerate Nigeria demise cos with the proliferation of arms and ammunition in Africa, no country will survive civil war.

My analysis is hypothetical which I may be wrong or right but the chances of saving $300k on 5 years for an African who just moved to States is next to nothing and on % level, in every 10,000pwoplw to move to US, only about 5 or less will be able to save $300k in their first five years. The problem with this analysis is that you are assuming all tech jobs pay 100k. Even at that, if you earn 300k annually, even if taxes take away 50% that's 150k net income annually. If you're not extravagant, you can survive on 40 to 50k annually. (Most Americans survive on less than 40k yearly and they're doing fine) . If you save 100k yearly, what is 300k (#200M) that you won't save after 4 to 5 years of staying abroad??

The truth is, this may not be the reality of everybody abroad, but there is no denying that there are actually people who are earning this much and living within their means

Agreed it comes with lots of perks but my surprises is everyone that talks about tech on nl will quickly point you to software engineer earn $$. While software engineer earn good pay, majority of people in tech ain't software engineer just like most people in medical field ain't doctors and non tech workers still make decent wages.

Ask me how I know and I will tell you I had attended various SBA funding seminar and when it's time for loan, most banks say capital NO for first time small business even when the government want to back 80% of the loan thru SBA with 700 credit scores.

That's $330k net in 2 years i.e earning average of $14,000 per month. To earn $330k in 2 years you must earn net of $167,000 or gross of $260,000 per year. That's average of $125 per hour working 8hours per day non stop for 2 years. Let's even assume they do two jobs i.e 16 hours per day. That's $62.5 per hour. I can't wrap my head around two jobs that pay $62.5per hour that you can do consistently for two years without issue and not have mental breakdown.

Let's assume it's a 2 income home. That's $130k for each partner. Seems doable with two incomes without any SPENDINGS. And you stated that's not the only project they have.

Except that friend of yours and their spouse works in IT or Health or sales where they net $300k yearly then i call bullshit at their stories except they have other incomes they have not yet disclosed to you. So take loans at what interest rates? 4.75%? Maybe 2 years ago when it was 0.25% i can understand. It was like free money but the cash flow doesn't even make sense. You forget to include in your analysis that for a governor to be from a State does not translate to presidential candidate of such party winning the state. Northerners will always vote their son. After Buhari, the next most popular politician in the North is Atiku and I expect him to get block votes from the northern part of the country but that does not translate to winning the presidency because Buhari got block votes and still lose several times. Atiku will lose if he fails in most other parts of the country.
Obi is the best, most competent among the contestants but I learned early in life that been the best does not necessarily means you will always win.

That is how it suppose to be. They have the right to defend themselves and they are innocent until proven guilty but must employers will have suspend you until the investigation is over. I own a truck repair business and trucking company in Virginia. Most Nigeria tries to play it simple and safe. 9 out of 10 new businesses do not see second year and I am an example. My first company failed and I had to start all over with $90k in debt. When Nigeria start small scale businesses like car sales, trucking etc will never qualify hire foreign born worker.
Entrepreneur is easy on paper. No banks that I know of borrow new business money except if you want to use your house a collateral and you will be sorry if the business fail and most business do fail.
Average Chinese or Indians are richer than average Nigerian and they pool resources together to buy restaurant, gas station and take turns to run it and grow it from ground. Nigerian back home want their family that travel less than a week to start sending money home. He does not stand a chance to start a business. He just need to get a job and be ATM for people back home.

Who would you want to be president? There are no saints anywhere and every aspirant will come with baggage, it's just some are beyond redemption.

What you're saying it's a clone phone. A refurbished phone is a used phone that either the manufacturer or authorized dealer check and update to standard. I use pixel phones and everything I drop my phone and need a replacement, I send it to Google and they will send me refurbished phone as replacement. Refurbished phone is good and also comes with warranty if you buy from authorized dealers.

Education and poverty reduction is the only two things that will reduce voting buying. I grow up in Bariga and I can tell you vote buying does not necessarily carry out in cash transactions. You can buy vote with 5kg of rice etc. Thinking changing color of currency will stop vote buying is like saying Buhari has fix Nigeria problem when he made it worse.

You don't win election by working in all local government areas. You win by concentrating your resources in areas of your strength while picking up few votes on areas you're less popular. Obi can't win core Northern States even if he move to those States but he will gather few votes over there while picking up majority of votes from south, West and Middle belt regions.
