The fool says in his heart that there is no God... Psalm 14:1.

Don't be a fool...
Hmmm, I think there is a part in the Book of Contradictions that says people that call others a fool will burn in hellfire eternally. Matthew 5:22 to be precise.

Therefore, for this sin you have committed your "loving father" will watch you burn in hell forever. I didn't make that up, it is right there in the Book of Contradictions.

Mumu people.

All the prayers and fasting that people have been making for this country does it seems to have any effect whatsoever?

How did you know that the Video is not available for "3rd world countries" ? undecided

because we can't watch in Nigeria does not mean people from Ghana or even Niger cant too... Neither does it mean people from United States or Pakistan can watch it.

Nemesis8u see the actual response
Relax dude, it was a joke. grin

I have seen YouTube videos of our neighbouring Africans that are not available for Nigerians to watch unless you tweak your IP address.

The question is not clear ?

Well I will give the answer grin

What's the point in a sniper team having a tethered UAV ?

Is it not contradicting the purpose of the sniper team ie remain incognito

A UAV hovering with a cable running down in the middle of nowhere or a tower or a building is like a big Las Vegas billboard " WANT SOME FUN " grin

Or a fire magnet for enemy snipers.

The snipers teams don't need to have their own tethered UAVs when they can simply access the feed from a offsite high performance high altitude tethered UAV ( out of reach of enemy counter fire ) safely and covertly over wireless or cable links
That was what I thought at first. Snipers are supposed to be concealed but Lionel explained that "tethered" here was (as I understood his point) a verb. So a wireless DJI drone could be tethered to a Sniper team or Mortar Team.

Tethering a drone to a ground team means tasking the drone to receive mission information and data from the ground team. And also to furnish them with situational data relevant to the operation at hand.

While tethered drone is a type of uav that receives and transmit information through a wired or wireless link depending on the technology involved.

He meant a different thing entirely.

The meaning of Tethering a UAV to sniper and mortar teams is very different from tethered UAV over a base.
Can you explain what Tethering drone to a sniper or mortar team meanshuh

And abeg add pictures of drone being tethered to snipers and mortar teams that cannot be used for base defense.

I don't know how drone tethered to a sniper in Jilli base would have been more effective than a tethered drone with birds eye view of the base and its environs.

Did you watch the video huh
More than five times.
If you have seen an Alpha Jet in action before, you would have known that you can hear its noise at least four to five seconds before you see it.

If it were a drone that hit them, it would have had over 90% kill rate.

PRESS RELEASE
NIGERIAN AIR FORCE FIGHTER AIRCRAFT NEUTRALIZES BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS AT BULAGALAYE, KWAKWA

1. The Air Task Force (ATF) of Operation LAFIYA DOLE, on 15 July 2018, successfully neutralized several Boko Haram Terrorists (BHTs) at BULAGALAYE and KWAKWA, both in BORNO State. The successful air strikes on both locations were a result of efforts to trail and neutralize fleeing terrorists after Nigerian Army (NA) troops had repelled the attack on their location around BAMA. Upon receiving reports of the attack, the ATF scrambled an Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) platform and the Alpha Jet aircraft to locate the fleeing terrorists. Consequently, the insurgents, who were seen assembled at a staging area in BULAGALAYE, began to disperse upon sighting the attack platforms. However, the NAF fighter aircraft acquired and attacked the fleeing insurgents with bombs and rockets. As a result of the air strikes, the BHTs were neutralized while their vehicles and weapons were destroyed, leading to a thick cloud of black smoke.

2. Intelligence reports later revealed that a smaller bunch of the BHTs had re-assembled in a settlement known as KWAKWA. Accordingly, the ATF conducted a wave of strikes on the location. Overhead KWAKWA, the ISR platform successfully identified the terrorists’ location and vectored the attack platforms to the target area, which was attacked with bombs and rockets. Some of the terrorists were seen fleeing towards a nearby settlement and further attacked with rockets and then neutralized. The Air Task Force will continue to conduct missions in support of the efforts of our troops in the counterinsurgency operations in the Northeast while also providing Close Air Support when requested to do so.

They fled the moment they heard the noise of the Alpha Jet. It is there in the report. I just hope the jet managed to really neutralize some of them.

AFAIK, Air Support never came during the Jilli attack where we lost hundreds of good men.

No offence , do u guys issue tenders / conduct competitive bidding ?

The problem lies there IMO and I will leave at that.

This pics below is of a tethered mil grade drone

In a tethered drone prima facie the main factor is the capability of the EO pod.

Also off topic recently where I am the impetus by the new companies is now on replacing mast mounted radars and optical sensors on vehicles with tethered UAV mounted radars and optical sensors on vehicles.

To cut down deployment/ pack up time , increase efficiency , decrease manpower , increase performance , increase survivability etc etc

In the future tethered drones will replace almost all mast mounted systems.
Yeah, Nigeria law stipulates that organisation should bid for contracts before the contract is awarded.

I think the problem lies with Nigerian Army not requesting for the right equipment.

A tethered drone with solar panel power pack would have been ideal for Nigerian bases.

Anyways what do u use palm oil for ?

And u guys use which oil for cooking normally ?
That must be one badass WMD. shocked shocked shocked

Palm wine is a sort of drink extracted from palm tree. People drink it here. It intoxicates sometimes.

Palm oil on the other hand can be used in making soup or just frying stuffs. Basically whatever you can use groundnut or vegetable oil for.

Most people use both to cook normally.

Predictably, activities of NAF has reduced drastically since the beginning of rainy season.
