You are good put8ng the signs on every word, i grew up in the north so am not good at put8ng those signs on words grin
Lol, he got it terribly wrong. He placed those signs without paying attention to their sounds and meaning. My Yorùbá teacher would be really disappointed if she were to read what he wrote.

It should have been:
"Àwọn ọmọ oríle èdè Nàìjíríà. Àwọn ọmọ ogun tí ódára jù ní ilè adúláwọ̀."

Certainly, he deserved a medal. He did a great damage to that terrorist that tried to murder him.

But the question is: did he survive the attack?

Nigerian troops having to roll around the N.E in dump-trucks when Stallion has a facility in Lagos that churns out 400 highly capable troop transports per month...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8ersgEmwSk

IDK about Nigerian fleet requirements, but for RSA that kind of capacity would allow us to replace our entire fleet in a year and a half.
The Dump-Trucks are mostly used for transporting rescued hostages and recovered vehicles that are in no shape to be driven. I have never seen Nigerian soldiers using it as their personal transportation, if you have a picture that proves otherwise post it here.

Nigerian military and even Police patronise Stallion group to a significant extent. It is mostly used for transportation within and outside military installation across the country.

I just don't understand why we don't see them in the NE.

“The contract, signed off by the Federal Executive Council in December 2017, would have seen the contractor, HSLi, net $195 million in exchange for an undisclosed number of special mission aircraft, special mission helicopters and 12 fast intervention vessels for the Nigerian Navy.”

The Guardian later reported that the contract would see Nigeria acquire three helicopters, three aircraft, three big battle-ready ships, 12 vessels and 20 amphibious cars to secure Nigerian waters.

That’s a lot of equipment for $200 million
It is time we stop using military contractors in this country, especially those having affiliation with Israel. They have a knack for corrupt practices.

easy force multiplier ... you let your enemies use up munition on throwaways like this and have a follow on force a few minutes after the initial attack (drones)
If I use ordinary bullets to bring down your thousand dollar drone, how is that cost effective for you? I am sure you have heard of electronic warfare, where they can take over the control of your drone without expending much resources.

You could actually shoot them down with your airplane's internal gun (cost next to nothing) or if you want to get up-close-and-personal, you can send the drone spiraling down by tipping it over with the wing of your airplane. Drones are best used in uncontested airspace or an airspace that you have already established air superiority.

OPERATION THUNDER STRIKE: NEWLY ACQUIRED NAF MI-35M HELICOPTER GUNSHIP UNLEASHES FIREPOWER ON TERRORISTS CAMP

The newly acquired Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Mi-35M helicopter gunships have successfully unleashed their firepower on Boko Haram Terrorists (BHT) at a camp, 9.7km South East of Bonne in the on-going OPERATION THUNDER STRIKE. An earlier Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance report had indicated the significant presence of terrorists in the camp, following which Mi-35M helicopter gunships were deployed to attack them on 15 May 2018. On approaching the target, the Mi-35M helicopter gunships successfully launched rocket and cannon attacks on the camp, in rapid succession. The footage of the attack, as captured by the helicopter’s airborne camera system, indicated the destruction of the targets as the structures within the BHT camp were engulfed in fire while all the terrorists within the camp were also neutralized. It would be recalled that the NAF took delivery of the second batch of 2 brand new Mi-35M helicopters on 30 April 2018, following which the helicopters were unveiled during the NAF’s 54th Anniversary celebrations in Kaduna and later deployed for operations.

Some people actually derive joy in derailing and ruining this thread.

They have nothing tangible to contribute and the only time you see them, just know that the next five pages will be used to make ludicrous arguments.

For the sake of sanity:
The Mi35M is not just the best of the Mi-Series, it is the best helicopter in the world.
And the Super Tucano will defend your airspace against any external aggression not just in Africa but outside Africa too, ignore the fact that a simple Google search of the platform says "it is a multirole aircraft best used in low threat environment. There you have it!

Can those that have real pictures to post continue their selfless services?
Thank you!
