This is the reason, I have always hammered on the fact that we need to play our home politics right. Time to forgo the center and go regional. Igbos should move en-mass to APGA. Elect credible candidates that will bring development home. Presidency or VP should not be our focus at the moment. Lets create a home our diasporas can move back to with their money and investment. |

What! do these guys want us to build koranic schools in all geopolitical zone? And for those of you trying to base literacy on the ability to recite and read koran, you should also advocate for koran to be used in solving Quadratic Equation and many other things, including writing Computer Software programs. You guys want to be more Muslims than even the Arabs. No wonder Nigeria remain a backward country. |

Umahi is doing fine infra-structurally. But he should be very wary and take a firm position on herdsmen rampage incursion into the state. He should never maintain a soft spot, never. Ebonyians are mostly farmers, and heavily dependent on rice farming, which is difficult to cultivate. We don't want a repeat of Benue in Ebonyi. In a nutshell, security, particularly in rural areas, should be among his top priority. |

Xander85: Forget that guy bros. I've come to the conclusion he's lost a few marbles, so i just scroll down from his posts. How can someone who claims to be a human being, never mind being Igbo, keep a file of dead kinsfolk and disgusting old pics of cities and towns in Igboland in readiness to upload them in the name of e-fight!? This leads me to believe he's not actually Igbo!
Without even asking, the mods ought to have removed any gory pics he's uploaded and ban his quarrelsome arsse till the second coming of Christ! But they wouldn't do that for obvious reasons!
If i were to put a Igbo hater in his place and give him the abuse he so richly deserves, come and see how they'll come out from hiding and ban me with immediate alacrity! Chino is great guy, but I wonder why he aims his fire to his kinsmen sometimes. One thing I noticed about him is his passionate attachment to Anambra State. |

Especially the flood prone area. Create massive drainage and link them up to Choba River, and the flood in the city will disappear. |

This is Uburu, Ohaozara LGA of Ebonyi state. Umahi focused more on his home town Uburu and Abakaliki while other part of the state rot. Visit Ivo or even Afikpo and you will understand my position. No major projects going in other LGA, apart from the state capital and his home town. You are free to prove me wrong. |

Curlieweed: When we had the Ipob crises, Ohaneze set up some Igboland Development group.
Who knows what has become of it? Do they have even a website?
I think a lot of normally intelligent people are taking an alarmingly casual attitude to the unfolding disaster called Nigeria.
The population is due to double again with the next 30 years. Apart from the fact that most our inland oil fields are depleting very quickly, oil is fast losing its global primacy as an energy source. You only need to imagine the effects of this on government revenue.
I don’t even want to talk about the fact that the current regime is borrowing like there is no tomorrow and spending all the money on daft politically motivated projects.
Climate change and associated desertification are having an increasingly calamitous effect on food production as well as an increase in strife not just in the NC but increasingly down south. Frankly, I expect massive population movements southwards. The fact that upwards of 90% of the population in some of these places are involved in agriculture should give any rational observer food for thought.
The day of reckoning is very, very near. I was thinking of these things today and I got very, very scared. You don’t need to be a soothsayer to know who the likely scapegoats will be as things get even more desperate in the country.
We need to build a proper economy in our homeland. We need to look at our peers in places like SE Asia. We should copy, borrow and if necessary steal ideas, technologies and markets from these people.
We need a healthy, educated populace. We need infrastructure. Our very survival as a people is at stake. Mere shaming people to invest backhome isn’t going to work. We need a world class business environment.
The issue is very urgent and cannot wait. What is the practical solution? What do we have to do? Can we start talking about practical steps we can initiate at least from now? |

famosh: Keep deluding your unintelligent self! And you still don't need smiling emojis to cover up your unintelligent & deluded talk!
And do you mean the 5%-ters? The IPIGs are obviously extremely irrelevant! They're Nigerian slaves, & that's why you see the IPIGs have only 5 states when others have 6! You make any innocent noise, & Python will dance as the slaves that the IPIGs are! So you see nobody is crying to the IPIGs for votes because they're that irrelevant! The SS is much more important & have more voting power, & that's where APC is struggling to enter!
By the way, you still haven't told us where the northern candidate who will win in 2023 will come from! Is it from the PDP or APC who won't be presenting northern candidates? And pls try to answer as intelligently as possible for your IQ level! Quotes as this reveals the heart and feelings of the average Nigerians to Igbos. This is the reason every reasonable Igbos should focus more and work to get out this shit hole. Nigerians are despicably evil reason, the country is so backward and extremely poor. One thing that turns them on and put them on a hyper-animation mode is anything Igbo. Mention Igbo and see them get excited like an expectant pussy-eater. This fela I just quoted said it all. All they do is sit down and reason on how they can carry out their evil plot on Igbos. When it comes to issue bordering their country, like the herdsmen terrorist, they come up with different excuses, but when its about Igbos, they find their voices and courage. Evil people. One thing that unites and make them one, is nothing but Igbophobia. Every true nwafor, should read the quoted post in details and get the message. |

Can we start some kind of movement geared towards actually making a change. This is exactly what I was thinking this afternoon. We have been talking for too long. Posting pictures and fine- fine houses here will not solve anything on ground. When do we start acting? |

When Peoole talk of Dangote no Hausa or Fulani ever praise Hausa tribe for his achievements, when people talk of Otedola or Adenuga no yoruba man praise Yoruba tribe for their achievements but once a company own by Igbos are mentioned you will see all sort of tribalistic comments... are they suffering from inferiority complex? There is nothing wrong with Igbos, rather, its people like you that draws out such comments. Tell me why when its a bad news, the whole tribe is vilified, but when its good news, you claim he is a Nigerian. Igbos are tired of your hypocrisy. In as much as most of us don't buy into this tribal shit, you cannot rule out the fact that you always attack the whole, for the crime of the single.
