nedekid:US existed before the dollar as a reserve country. Learn to criticize base on knowledge and not ignorance. And the funny thing is very high chance you are a Trump worshipper because you are are even too scared to mention his name on a faceless forum. So, stick to one side. |
SEGLIZ:Why are you afraid of mentioning Putin? And when did Putin become Europe? So much cowardice on a faceless forum. I suppose far east Asia means China but I don't recall any external conflict in Asia proper. |
IamtheTruth1:Dullard, can you come up something better than this? |
Still playing. |
Rupertek:Yes, they did. This wouldn't have been a surprise to you if you are familiar with legal proceedings. A skilled lawyer would have helped them reason out of their emotional hole. No competent civil court should convict a suspect of murder when 1. Murder was not legally established, that is inconclusive autopsy 2. The main suspect was not present during the alleged crime as acknowledged by the court itself 3. The prosecutor couldn't say how the deceased was killed, strangling, stabbing, poisoning, they have no idea and lastly the prosecutor cannot explain why the deceased had to be killed. What is even baffling is that the high court trial judge once state that it is the duty of the prime suspect to prove his innocence. That is enough statement to derail the case. In civil proceedings, it is the duty of prosecutors to prove the suspect's guilt and not the other way around. |
Since there was no theft involved, it is either a cult clash or a personal hit from a very close associate. |
Agugbadin:Yes, the "confession" was about denying that the deceased lodged in the hotel and removing traces of the transaction. That is cover up, not murder. Not suspect confessed to murder. |
sirsholley:You have been listening to third party broadcasters who have a vested interest. The alleged CCTV was never presented in court. And assuming it was presented, it allegedly shows the men removing the body, not the actual murder. In fact, the first trial judge acknowleged the claim of the main suspect not being present in the crime scene during the crime but he said that wasn't enough to exonerate him. A lot of people are confusing media speculations and the actual evidence presented in court. |
cutedharmee:I am not one of those who believe someone must be punished for any disaster that happens regardless of the circumstance. I am pretty consistent in this regard. You don;t know the damage that someone must be punished at all cost does to the society. A person should only answer for a crime they really commit and not assumed or believed to have committed. |
waternogatenemy:Oh, I just noticed your full caps. I usually avoid psychos but some do manage to slip by. |
Jetland:So, you couldn't see the poor attempt at diplomacy by Trump. He is basically saying, I don't hate you but I can hurt you badly if you fail to accede to my demands. |
waternogatenemy:So, if you are part of the negotiation team, you think any agreement will stop Putin from starting another war after 5 to 10 years of rebuilding the army? The only guarantee of no invasion are either Trump go to war with Putin inside Ukraine, Ukraine acquires nukes, or Ukraine join NATO or maybe have the US setup a military base. No paper is worth any agreement that has Putin's signature. Trump has two problems with Russia. The Ukraine war and the BRICS and he can't avoid them. |
fuke:Are we still on the CCTV issue? If any CCTV footage existed before the court, it doesn't, It will only have shown the cover up and body disposal, not murder. Imagine how idiotic it is to leave the primary evidence of murder for anyone to find since the CCTV was allegedly retrieved several days after the murder case had become public knowledge. |
drehdinho:I thought you had evidence of foul play. I read everything but your spiritual conjectures are not why the case is in court. No serious judge will entertain your stories for a supposed murder case. |
Ijaya123:This is a very public murder case. No evidence can be legally hidden. You can even attend the trial if free. And assuming I don't have all the facts and evidence, you can provide them here. |
drehdinho:Can you enlighten us. What attempt was metted on them? |
Benwallt:You know nothing about murder cases. There can be no secrets involved. Everything is in the public domain. The fate that befell the victim is death. That is all we know conclusively. Unless you are an immortal, such fate is inevitable. And according to the autopsy, no evidence for murder. Nothing new under the sun, even some day year olds die mysteriously. Your real prayer should be whether every death that occurs around you should be blamed on you. If you think I am wrong, you can enlighten us by presenting the investigators evidence for murder. Justice should be based on facts not feelings. |
SIRTee15:No. The receptionist "confession" is irrelevant unless police can prove that the receptionist was acting under an order to kill the deceased. Let us ignore the fact that police everywhere and Nigeria in particular can make a suspect confess to what they didn't do using specific methods. Even a confession to murder should not attract automatic conviction without corroborating evidence which the prosecutors failed to present. This is to prevent innocent idiots from committing suicide by law. Did the receptionist strangle, poison or shot the deceased? The only confession I am aware of is the one where it was claimed that Adedoyin told them to deny that the deceased lodged in the hotel, that is, cover up, not the actual murder. If you have a credible link to a confession to murder, I will like to see it. |
Ijaya123:There is no evidence that he ordered the killing. There is even no evidence there was a killing. Stabbing, strangling, gunshot, poisoning? Absolutely none. He doesn't even know the deceased existed before the coverup began. As I opined, the lawyers are grossly incompetent. Even an apprentice lawyer shouldn't struggle to beat the murder charge, though other lesser charges may stick. Regardless of what you personally think, it should be obvious that a murder charge which carries death sentence should require incontrovertible evidence for proper justice to be served. Not present at scene of murder, no murder weapon or method and motive based on superstitious conjectures is not a conviction anyone should applaud. The job of the court is to determine cases based on facts not feelings. |
His lawyers must be incompetent. There is no evidence that a murder took place other than the fact that they conceal the death after the fact. The autopsy was inconclusive. It also doesn't make sense to convict a suspect of murder when they were never present in the murder scene unless it can be proven they gave instruction for the murder which the prosecution failed to prove. I suspect the court being influenced by public sentiments. No murder weapon or method, suspect not present in murder scene and no concrete motive and still the court went ahead to convict. Covering up a death should not attract death sentence. It is time to change the lawyers. |
Fake news. A prenup agreement while strong in US is very weak in Europe. A judge can decide to re-interpret it base on whims. So, a European-based gold digger wouldn't breakup because of a pre-nup. |
Jobless police officers. What crime did the church owner commit for keeping a pet python? I hope he sues the police after their embarrassing raid. |
Arostar2023:Whether there is affirmative action or not, corporations won't hire you if you are not "qualified" unless in cases based on nepotism. But without affirmative action, corporations are more likely to dismiss applications based on negative perception of the minority group a particular candidate comes from since there is no legally binding standard qualification scores. Hiring is a highly subjective process. |
Fahvvy:What a joke. Countries don't make decisions like emotional kids. The tragic mistake Biden and Europe made was assuring Putin that they won't send troops into Ukraine, that gave him all the pointers he needed to pursue the war further. While I consider Trump a repugnant character, he would never have made such self-defeating assurance. He would first offer to make a deal and if rebuffed, he would have threatened to send troops into Ukraine following the invasion. It may be a bluff but Putin would be uncertain and would have opted for a quick negotiation instead. Here is what is going to happen going forward. If Putin refuses to initiate a negotiation, Ukraine will get desperate as American military aid dwindles. It would then start attacking Russia's oil installation which have been avoided all these while out of respect for Europe and US, its major supporter. The result will be extreme inflation in the US which will make Trump look bad. And Trump hates looking bad. At that point, Trump may start threatening to send troops into Ukraine in addition to more sanctions and supporters like you will be forced to choose between Trump or Putin to asslick. All Trump needs to get domestic support is to accuse Russia of being behind US inflation. Putin will likely soft pedal in response and opt for negotiation unless he wants Trump to possibly make him his legacy. |
rdsco:No kidney was harvested. And this has nothing to do with slave trade as slaves were never paid or expected payment. |
Softmirror:Stop arguing blindly. It is illegal to buy or sell organs in the UK. Also, she will likely be so far down the waiting list consisting of thousands of hopeful recipients, that she may be dead or even suffer permanent damage to her health before she ever gets a compatible kidney. |
