porka: Presidential system did not lead to civil war (that is if you are referring to the Nigerian Civil War).
The civil war started in 1967 and ended in 1970.
The presidential system of government started in 1979.
Always seek to understand the subject before making embarrassing comments next time.
The "institutionalisation of corruption and massive degrading of our collective morals" were also some of the reasons given by the military coupist for taking over from the "parliamentarians" in 1966 which culminated in civil war.
Baba Akande is one of the people who cannot internalize their losses.
When such people fail they start looking for excuses for their failures instead of doing a thorough introspection.
Any intelligent human being won't read up to two lines of Buhari's life history before coming to a sane conclusion that Buhari has always been a monumental failure.
In any case, does Baba Akande appreciate the intellectual and physical rigours of debating in a parliament daily?
Can he honestly tell us where Buhari would have found such intellectual acumen? Our presidential system is a progeny of the unitary system declared by Ironsi which led to the civil war. The name of the system does not matter, they both concentrate power in the center. |

grossintel: that's the problem, must guys just want to penetrate and get over with, but ladies want to cuddle and kiss and can't take penetration for a long time and aren't always in the mood. So this will be a problem when married men prefer making love to dulls then a wife who is out of shape. It won't be funny at all. Wrong, if that were to be the case, men would have no preference for the looks of their partners, since every woman can serve as a penetration tool. Married men will never prefer dolls, unless they have no other options(cheating). |
Politics › Re: "Nigeria Practicing Military Democracy" - Bisi Akande Says by Xisnin(m): 5:58pm On Jan 16, 2018 |
seunmsg: There was corruption and mismanagement during the parliamentary government of the first republic. There is corruption and mismanagement in every government in the world, many still manage to progress and our first republic leaders were seasoned administrators with visions. In addition, the country was so divided along tribal line that Nigerians rejoiced when the military took over. So, let's stop painting the first republic as a perfect government. Nigerians did not rejoice, some section of Nigerians did because they wanted power by all means. And the stupid coup planner are responsible for some of the current problems we are facing. The presidential system of government was introduced to unite Nigerians and reduce ethnic tension. The operators of the system are the problem and not the system. The introduction of a presidential system achieved the opposite of its aims, it led to civil war, institutionalisation of corruption and massive degrading of our collective morals. Akande is spot on, no system can beat the parliamentary system for a large ethnically diverse and largely illiterate population such as ours. |

Alariiwo: Loneliness and frustration you say? If only you know the population of men trying to escape their marriage.
Not with the increasing number of nagging and cheating wives in this present day Nigeria.
Most married men will gladly dump their wives for those dolls you see. Men talking about dumping their wives is like a Nigerian complaining about bad governance, neither of them is serious because serious people don't just talk, they take action. There has always been some nagging and cheating wives, yet men still choose to get married. Even though some men are trying to escape their marriage, they don't plan to practically remain single or live with a doll as wife. You would be mistaken if you think sex is the only reason why men get married because in this present age you need not get married to get regular sex unless you are totally broke. Even some broke men manage to keep a harem. |

Aye n baje lo. Unless for publicity stunt, a married man who divorce his wife will look for another wife not doll, less he die of loneliness and frustration. |

Bolustical: In as much as I don't support this nonsense.
I think it will go a long way in humbling some women who think they can punish their spouses with sex.
This sex doll will go a long in breaking many homes. It won't break any home, there is more to sex than penetration. Though the doll will be useful for those who are currently starving. |

asuustrike2009: Nothing goes for nothing. Your soul is exchange for richness if you try it. Now ask yourself why is the juju priest not involved in such act? Why didn't he use his children? Isn't suspicious that they rather use others than their blood Because it is a fraud, if it were real the greedy nature of man would have mandated him to prepare such juju for himself. |

aaronson: This Yahoo thing isn't worth being fetish about, It only deals with the brain, psychology and persistency. The real yahoo boys cashing out today without any form of voodoo, fetish or juju rituals are mostly graduates of reputable universities across Nigeria. The uneducated once still relies on outdated techniques, methods and formats to approaching a now advanced and upgraded mode of interaction with the western world and expect to rip them off when they 3 steps ahead of you. It won't work and so they resort to these diabolic means which also doesn't work and detrimental in the long run.
Laziness to overtasking their brain is just the issue here.
I didn't put this out to encourage fraud, what am trying to get across is whatever thing you find yourself doing, It was brought about by someone's idea via thinking and it would only take you extra thinking to improve on the previous idea or p1mp the system two step ahead of the ideal. Period! You don't know what you are talking about unless you are speaking from personal experience. |

Papoose269: Nice move. I'm not a fan of the Tonto Churchill drama but I strongly believe that the child needs to be protected. Linda Ikeji on the other hand is only concerned about making more money and I'm beginning to lose my respect for her. Don't get me wrong, money is good but when you are willing to exploit a little child for financial reasons then you are just plain evil. I have problem with people like you who are afraid of placing blame where it should be. How is it Linda's business that Tonto chose to feature her child in a reality TV show? Is that the first time a parent will choose to use their child in money-making business? |
