Romance / Re: 7 Tips To Help Nigerian Men Understand, Date And Enjoy A Lady Above 30!! by XKZ(m): 9:18pm On Feb 10, 2015 |
Woged2005: In case you haven't figured it out, this is what most guys are afraid of. That because she impatient (desperate) to settle down, she'll hide her true character, put up an act to convince you that you two are compatible. And once she gets what she wants she'll let loose her real self, and you'll finally understand why she didn't get married earlier. However, I'm not implying that every single lady (or even most) in her 30s is unmarried because of a character defect. It's just what guys are afraid of. 1 Like |

I can't understand why any patriotic Nigerian will support such a decision. If this is true (which I doubt) it would be the worst decision of GEJ's entire tenure. |

kowema: If you're behind him how did you see the wet patches? Abi did it wet from front to back? What were the positions of the "One old mama and another girl" that enabled them to see the pelvis of a man standing in a tightly packed BRT bus. Btw, I'm not doubting things like this happen (I actually know someone who has experienced such). I just believe this particular story is either false or highly embelished. |

Personally, I know someone who is currently undergoing training as adhoc staff and only got training manual today after their test, and there are still a lot of members of the class without manuals. And this is in Abuja. |
Politics / Re: Nigerian Airforce Drone Strike Shatters Boko Haram Tank (video) by XKZ(m): 6:08pm On Feb 09, 2015 |
If the Nigerian Military is finally gaining the upper hand in the battle it's something that needs to be commended and celebrated. However, I can't help but wonder how Boko Haram got tanks in the first place. Some high class ineptitude on the part of NA must have been involved. Btw, for those who think that flying a drone is something beyond the capability of Nigeria, this is not really true. Becoming a drone pilot is as easy as playing a computer game. It is easier to train a drone pilot than a jet pilot, it takes as little as 50 hours of training and a lot of it can be done at home (or anywhere else you have a computer). |

Infomizer: If you followed the link and read the article you'd see that the awareness that you are being tested is supposed to create the stress (in a liar) that VSA aims to detect. "The study's findings also noted, however, that the mere presence of a VSA program during an interrogation may deter a respondent from giving a false answer." http://languagelog.ldc.upenn.edu/nll/?p=12427 |

Begonia: It is. In the olden days it used to be the capital of the Oyo Empire after which Oyo State (I guess) is named. It's actually the 2nd Oyo Town, it became the capital after the old Oyo Town (Oyo-Ile) was abandoned. 1 Like

Cutehector4u: I thought as much. If it was a young lady you saw doing this you wouldn't be complaining. While you're on it please also complain about guys sticking guns into their waist bands. Those of you saying is disgusting and a bush African behaviour won't complain when you see or watch on tv people sticking notes into strippers and pole dancers g-strings. |

If she's happy and he's happy, how does this concern anyone? Polygamy is legal in Nigeria, same with marrying someone with a large age difference. And imho, this is definitely better than sneaking about with different and numerous girlfriends (and increasing the prevalence of STDs in Nigeria). Btw, this reminds me of Shabba Ranks song, Twice My Age (featuring Krystal). In it Krystal states that she prefers older men and lists the benefits of such relationships, but Shabba disagrees and insists she's just interested in money. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTISKUGwKYk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCUgLGk8Fas 1 Like |

Does VSA (Voice Stress Analysis) actually work? According to a recent study funded by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), two of the most popular VSA programs in use by police departments across the country (US) are no better than flipping a coin when it comes to detecting deception regarding recent drug use. http://languagelog.ldc.upenn.edu/nll/?p=12427 Note that the subjects were tested in person, not a recording of their voice. 1 Like 1 Share |

I find it shocking that anyone can claim to know how truthful someone is by listening to a recording of their voice. When even lie detectors (that are connected to a person) are not generally regarded as being effective in determining truthfulness. Does VSA (Voice Stress Analysis) actually work? Religion / Re: Taking Alcohol Biblelical? by XKZ(m): 11:54am On Feb 02, 2015 |
There is nothing like "non-alcoholic wine". the phrase is an oxymoron. If you check any bottle of the so-called "non-alcoholic wine" (from a reputable brand) you'll see it's actually labelled 'grape juice'. It's only Nigerians (in their hypocrisy) who call it "non-alcoholic wine". http://www.evasa.com/en/productos/prod_swell.asp?idfamilias=5 2 Likes

This news has to be fake. Buhari can't be that daft. We can all see he is much more refined now and has avoided making inflammatory statements since his campaign began. Besides Buhari wasn't the only one who fought the Civil War. Obasanjo was also there and won votes in Igbo land. 3 Likes |

My2015 App provides easy access to a variety of digital content and offers MTN subscribers a single platform to access, view and share their New Year Resolutions & Must-do, 2015 Prophesies, Events, News, Daily Deals, Gossips, Healthy Living and Lifestyle. It's not even actually an election monitoring app (though it has aspects that deal with the elections). They are just using the elections to sell one of their products. Anyone who is interested though, can check it out at www.download2015app.com/ www.download2015app.com/download/my2015app-release.apk It's supposed to be for Andriod devices (.apk file) but BlackBerry 10 smartphones can also run it. |
