Btw, I'm not doubting things like this happen (I actually know someone who has experienced such). I just believe this particular story is either false or highly embelished.

Personally, I know someone who is currently undergoing training as adhoc staff and only got training manual today after their test, and there are still a lot of members of the class without manuals. And this is in Abuja.

Btw, for those who think that flying a drone is something beyond the capability of Nigeria, this is not really true. Becoming a drone pilot is as easy as playing a computer game.
It is easier to train a drone pilot than a jet pilot, it takes as little as 50 hours of training and a lot of it can be done at home (or anywhere else you have a computer).

Bro, I think the emboldened explains why the accuracy might be jeopardized. The mere indication a subject is aware s/he's being tested is good enough a reason for the outcome to be biased. In this case, the EkitiGate guys weren't even aware that their voices were being recorded so I think the accuracy is justifiable.

In the olden days it used to be the capital of the Oyo Empire after which Oyo State (I guess) is named.
It's actually the 2nd Oyo Town, it became the capital after the old Oyo Town (Oyo-Ile) was abandoned.

I find it shocking that anyone can claim to know how truthful someone is by listening to a recording of their voice. When even lie detectors (that are connected to a person) are not generally regarded as being effective in determining truthfulness.
