The fact that a student slept with a lecturer for marks doesn't mean she did it willingly. Some times the lecturer makes it impossible for them to take any other course of action and the system makes it difficult for them to find solace.

I know a lady who her lecturer told would only pass a course by sleeping with him and who only passed because a different lecturer took up the course

The fact that there are some girls who seduce lecturers doesn't mean that lecturers too do not harass some other girls who are not as willing.
We all know that it's things that are hard to get that have the most appeal.
The fact that no one has reported a rape does not mean it has not happened. The Nigerian university system and our society in general makes it difficult for people to come out to make complaints of rape.

Obviously Jesus was talking about those who sit in Moses seat (religious leaders)‎ and gave directives to his disciples on how not to act (or to be called).

He asks them to see all as equals and rather than put themselves above other‎s, should humble themselves. This lesson is further emphasised when he washes their feet at the last supper.

Reading and ascribing surface meaning to most of the Scripture is not ideal. What that passage means is that we should not put an earthly being in an exalted position of reverence just as we put God, the Father.

You are the one ascribing surface meaning to that passage. Otherwise you would have realised, from the context, that the passages does not refer to biological fathers, but 'fathers in the church', hence Jesus' reference to both the term rabbi and father.
Do you call your biological father 'rabbi' (teacher). Or when you call your pastors 'father', are you implying they married your mother?
Maybe the New Living Translation will put it in perspective for you (Matt 23:8-9)

Don't let anyone call you 'Rabbi,' for you have only one teacher, and all of you are equal as brothers and sisters.
And don't address anyone here on earth as 'Father,' for only God in heaven is your spiritual Father.
