I went to a catholic church at kurudu FCT, what I saw today really shocked me. I was moving from one catholic church to another looking for a big crucifix to buy. I went to 3 churches but could not get it. The 4th and last church I entered, shocked me.

People were selling Okrika clothes on the floor (bend down select).
Another shop was selling sacramentals but also selling pounding morter, Female Bra (bend down select). Some are selling biscuits, minerals. just outside the church gate you will see about 4 different okpa sellers.


This is very very bad. They are gradually turning some catholic church to business center.

What is happening to the priest in these churches, why is all these happening. If I had the opportunity of visiting the Arch Bishop in Abuja, I will do so. We need to stop this foolish acts by some members before it gets out of hand. Very soon, they will start selling beer (beer parlour) and even condom inside the church.

Note:
When I said inside the church, I mean the church compound inside the church fence and not inside the church building.

It flows from the top, Church starts selling, members join then public comes to sell. Go to a typical church this days and see the business transactions going on even during sermons, women even bring clothes to sell etc. God help us

How God helped me to and fro an interview without paying transport.

It's really not easy for a job seeker, and because one does not want the situation to remain the same, he must strive to land a job to change the status.

Since I couldn't afford not to attend the interview, and as I didn't have transport fare for it too, I had to use any means to get there.

There is this company I was privy to know was recruiting both casual and permanent staff. Since it's sited outside the town, I prepared my CV and asked someone to help me apply for it and to my surprise, I was invited for interview.

A broke me with no assurance of where the next meal is coming from? How do I attend the interview in such a far distance when I can't boast of transport? Then on the second thought, I also asked myself, is lack of transport fare enough reason not to attend an interview that can change my situation? I told myself definitely NO. I MUST ATTEND THE INTERVIEW.

So this morning, I dressed up in corporate with a tie on. I know a tipper driver who passess where the company is sited every morning. Since I didn't have his contact, I couldn't reach out to him on time to tell him. On that, I went early enough to where he parks the tipper at the close of work and pick it up in the morning. Luckily I met him and was very real about my situation. He agreed to lift me but more trouble for me was that the cabin had 2 persons already, excluding the driver. It was only the open bed at the back that was free. That was his offer.

Was that cool for me? Did I have an alternative?

Of course, with my tucked in dress, I climbed into the tipper bed and was lifted very close to the office. My trouser even opened in the process of scaling over. Still, it didn't distract me. Rather, I was conscious in managing it so I wont expose myself. The goal was attending the interview and getting the job. Thankfully, on my arrival, the interview was just about to begin.

So as the tipper was on the road, when people saw me inside the tipper bed dressed in corporate, they were just cracking up, taking me for a comic actor. What can I do? I moved on with it and I was cheerfully waving at them back.

After the interview, I stood by the main road and was lifted again by another tipper that was returning to the town. Hallelujah!

The small 1k that was left with me which I refused to tamper with it, I'm using it to prepare okro soup (the cheapest soup) this night, to manage till further notice.

Though I'm not a comedian but lack of transport to the venue made me one. I'm sure the pictures as people were taking may go viral.

Either way, I attended the interview without spending any transport. Also, I did my best in the interview. I pray the stress, suffering and inconviniences pay at the end of the day.

May poverty and brokeness never know your address.

Fast forward to today, I went to buy things to use for my work, which was packed inside a carton. It was heavy that I had to put it on my head. To cut the story short, I was beaten from top to bottom to the extent that malaria have been managing in my body system came rushing out alongside its symptoms. I no understand am at all!!! How will I go to the market to buy what I need, carry it with my head, just for someone to show up and say make I pay him levy for that

I did my ND in Ogun state, the school name was Owu College of Technology, and the management of the school told us then that they are under a school called Grace polytechnic.

So, I run the program with then in the year 2017/ 2019. I completed my HND at federal polytechnic ilaro, and I ought to be in service already.

The problem now is I went to the jamb office in February to do my regularization, I meet with the jamb officer and she said my matric number had been used for another student, I thought she made a mistake while typing my matric number...

So, I brought out my statement of result to show but it was still the same thing.

I went back to owu tech to made a complaint, I was told to write a letter and I attached a copy of my statement of result to that letter.

Since February now there ain't been any solution, I meet with the rector and he said they're working it till now from February.
I really wish to go with the batch B for the nysc.

My people had been thinking that maybe I got rusticated while I was in school.


Please I really need help over this issue.

Very disappointing, we lost a William Saliba to injury, everything concerning balance changed. Our defense became very porous and attackers needed to do extra work thanks to a Rob Holding that can't even hold himself properly. It's heartbreaking but it's a clear departure from a mediocre arsenal team we used to know, so many positives to take home, give it to Arteta anyways he has showed he can do the job with support.

Give it to Arsenal irrespective, unfortunately it's another trophyless season, but we can see the team is better and it's a serious team ready to contend. Just little adjustment needed expecialy getting good replacement and a rotational pattern. we are almost there, and its a clear message against next season. Beaten by pure class. Defense became porous due to Williams Saliba injury, it costs us the title.
