DMerciful:That's the point. It's not about what we wish, but what is right by law. Life will go on after today, but confidence in our constitution must not be eroded. Whether rerun or not, we want to see how far they're willing to go. I wouldn't even vote PO if there were rerun, the same institutions will sabotage him. |
enemyofprogress:It reminds me of the INEC returning officer in 2015 that couldn't read the results he collated. He's sounding as if he didn't write the judgement. The conscience is truly an open wound. |
Fugazy2023:E go shock you say na the same aboki wey they troway salute go lead the coup. Your fixation on ibos won't make you see the real threat. I can't wait to laugh at the stupidity of some of you. You think Northerners will allow Nigeria disintegrate because of Tinubu? |
Lol. Work has reached your hands. Hailers today, wailers tomorrow. BMCs have gone into oblivion, another set has been born. SS: 2007 - 2015 (our oyel crew) North: 2015 - 2019 (sai babarians) SW: 2023 - (oyo mandate crew) Endless cycle of madness, and Nigeria never still better. Only the ibos and few ethnic minorities down south are right thinking people in this country. |
The funny thing about the Nigerian situation is that it is the actions of those that they are counting on that will rip it apart. Once, the chaos goes tribal, then it's 1967 all over again. That is the danger of weaponizing ethnicity in politics. Intimidation doesn't keep people on the table of negotiation for long. One day, they'll outgrow their fears. |
RevDesm0ndJuju:Lol. Is that what you'll tell your kids when they ask you why Nigeria remains a shithole? I guess the men who have continued to steal the future of unborn generations back-to-back since 1999 are the best of the best? Na Stockholm syndrome dey worry una. |
fuckJones:Don't worry, 40 years from now if you remain unfortunate to still be in this country, you'll explain to your children why Nigeria has never known greatness. |
For where? It's all about bragging right, nothing more. If you're not close to those in power to at least reap some personalbenefits, your tribalism is a waste of energy. It will create unnecessary enemies that will make your struggle more tedious. |
nairalandkachy1:This whole thing seems like a script, even the proposed NLC strike. Something tells me it's all about protecting key infrastructures against the tension the PEPT might cause. |
Very true. Citizens dare not 'make noise' in a constitutional democracy when they feel the constitution or their constitutional right has been infringed on, but we will never allow military takeover because they don't defend the constitution. What an irony. |
Demon-crazy: government of perpuating unrivalled evil against the people, but with zero consequences. |
Racoon:This is the truth many of them are afraid to hear. They try to gaslight obidients like they're clamouring for a Coup, when in fact they're reminding them of the indices. They claim they don't like the devil but they adorn his regalia (corruption and inhumanity) They claim they don't like Military regime but they rule with dictatorship They don't like soldier's whip, but they torment the citizens with scorpions. I have never seen a more selectively moral group of people. To them, life is about tribe. People are grinding in perpetual hopeless because of the acclaimed democrazy. We can deny the inevitable, but can't stop it from happening. The Judiciary will be the last straw. So, that we can be finally sure that we failed at constitutional democracy and bear the consequences. |
b3llo:Lol. The one your eyes are seeing now, are too frightening for you, it's the 'unseen' (PO) you're seeing. Agbadorians and amazement! |
christistruth01:Do they call for coup like it's a 'refrain in an unsung chorus'? Instead of praying the authoritarian democrazy that has brought more anguish and sorrow to the masses doesn't continue. Are we talking about losing elections or rape of democracy and bastardization of critical institution?. Please, remind me again what's the meaning of democracy when the people can't elect their leaders? BTW! Do you know the 'glitch alluded to by INEC for an election that billions were allocated is sufficient grounds for insurrection in civilised democracies? When you see people celebrating a military Coup, know that the animals in civilian leadership thought they could get away with anything. A Coup won't happen because of online hysteria. It would happen when leaders fail to learn from history. |
Throwback:Yea, aren't they just great, being this sophisticated? When a good number of them are in the markets pursing their legitimate livelihood. Every antagonist of the current structure must be ibo. They messed with the wrong generation. |
Including NL trolls on 30k stipend. Congrats you're gainfully employed. |
Tribal warlords do not understand that when they support the evils that persecute and traumatize fellow men, for no just cause, the evils will turn on them one day, and none will be there to deliver. When there's no one else (outsiders) to persecute, the hawks must feast on their cheering onlookers (indigenous Lagosians). It's only a matter of time. |
AllenSpencer:You guys don't disappoint with your half-baked intelligence that defies logic. Like the naira is losing by not supporting PBAT, abi? I guess it's a good thing Nigeria is losing without obidients' support. https://www.nairaland.com/7816134/naira-crumbles-920-fuel-marketers |
Benwallt:Funny things is that your parents may not even have health insurance because neither your president's Nigeria or your loquacious self could offer them one. Truly, some kids are not worth being born. As Nigeria dey so, some idiots still dey boast, upon nothing. SMH! |
When a man talks too much, he becomes a tool for propaganda. |
uzohrome:Oh, you're among the poor souls who join the bandwagon of insolence because of sensational headlines. No where in that press conference did he say " God told him", the video is everywhere. All he had was a message of positivity and hope. The Nigerian frustration has gotten to many young Nigerians. PO seemed like a symbol of the 'alternative', hence people blame him for the youths' current wokeness. As his supporters, our character remain ours only, not PO's. Same applies to BaTIST. The extent we allow politics change us, would show the level of our individual depravity. |

The emphasis was on 'God will change his heart and steer it towards the people'. Their heart must first change before they can make Nigeria eldorado. We all pray to see that day. |
Islie:It is not fallacious that most Nigerians are stupid. They have orgasm at the mere sight of 'powerful men', but not so much love for 'strong institutions'. They hail what they know not today, then wail tomorrow. Mental slavery is real, it trumps education. |
Saintinoo:With Nigeria's track record of greed, what makes you think they will continue on the path to stregthen our economy? People that are looking for the easiest way out that have no serious cost to them. We should be praying they don't take Nigeria further down, till we get selfless leaders. |
Great2017:Maybe he was hustling while schooling to earn a 2:2 in philosophy. Go figure. You wouldn't know anything about how easy it was to build weight with little commitment in Nigeria's good days, would you? Not when all successive generations have destroyed or cheered the destruction of the fabrics of society. To even be a top earner now seems like rocket science. Make una continue to vote nonsense till you'd require 10M for a SME start-up. |
As long as sharing is going on in the wards, be rest assured it has already happened in the corridors of power. Another cycle of shame. Tinubu has dumped his renewed hope policy document, another one chance government. |
Well, now that public trust and national unity have been destroyed by the divisive politics we played whose effects have remained with us, how would Nigerians have a common goal? When we've come to that reality, only regionalism ( or federalism if you like) will give us a sense of National progress if not outright disintegration. The cold War b/w ibos and yoruba will not do any president of either extraction any good. Only the North have seamless rule, and would always have their way, like this Niger issue. South would always antagonise each other and be clogs to their own progress. |
another1:That's correct. It was codedly done. At least one trait of PBAT no one can dispute is that he talks before thinking (knee-jerk). It's not his fault, it comes with age, but their denial of It's impact was the issue. Same thing played out in his acceptance speech as ECOWAS chairman. Obviously, his handlers are reining him in already, else he will say something that will undo the fortunes of Nigeria one day. |
Ezewuzie01:If PO is all that you mentioned (demented, idiot, failure, miserable) and yet has his footprints in the sand of excellence quicker and more substantial than you could only dream of; your own case requires Psychiatry. You sound like an agbero and a frustrated one at that. Too much bile towards someone that has done you no wrong. |
Ttalk:All you have in your brain is election! Nothing about governance which affects lives. Let me guess, he stuck a cord because your tribesman is in power? Buhari apologists said similar thing for 8 years. Many Nigerians are irredeemable fools. |
lolu2019:Hope it is your own good mind that is helping PBAT work so badly for the people, like this. When you folks resolve the conflicts in your minds about what you want, elections in Nigeria will be a walkover for the best. |
