Thanks smiley

The romanticism comes from your ruling planet Venus (the planet of love), which you share with Libra. Venus ruled people are romantics at heart. Some would even say, they're in love with love. Unlike Libra (who are well known cheaters due to being an air sign tongue), Taurus are known for loyalty & faithfulness. I'm sure there are exceptions though, but Taurus' loyalty is legendary. They tend to have longer lasting marriages too eg. David Beckham & Pierce Brosnan, just to name a few. When bad, well, they are fond of harems...staying true to the nature of Venus, which is falling for anything or anyone that looks good. Generally, y'all are keepers though.
yeap, so true #proudly Taurus# thanks for The info dearie... Whatz ur sign?

Actually, Scorpio is your opposite sign in the zodiac, so of course you have A LOT of similarities. Opposites is like looking in the mirror & seeing your image coming at you from another angle. So you do a lot of the same things, perhaps a little differently since you're motivated by different things due to being from different elements-Scorpio being a water sign & Taurus being an earth sign.

Both signs are very possessive & stubborn, both like security, etc.
u just struck the nail on the head..... N I have learned a thing or two frm your piece.... I must add that I really am too possessive, emotional n stubborn but my romanticism covers all that

We will prioritise power supply and go after ALL sources of energy to ensure that we produce more electricity than we need.
The excess will be supplied to other African countries.
We shall seek to be the literal POWER HOUSE OF AFRICA because we shall generate enough energy to power Africa. cool
Nigeria can't generate 50% of energy needs of Nigerians, yet she was exporting some (the last time I checked).
That is foolishness of the highest order.
i like the idea of we being THE POWER HOUSE OF AFRICA. very ideal. But what ever help or aide we run to any country be it an african state or from any other continent it should come with a price; a give n take senerio if u ask me. d nigerian issue has only helped brightening d pictures of a caricature, failed n visionless state she is.
.
Also i suggest that we dont join ECOWAS or AU except they change their structure to a complete UN's with a developed n functional security council. There we will hold a permant member with some strong power states in africa n w.africa, where we sit to decide d security n other major issues of africa n w.africa; with a price. We will give unconditional support when d needs arrives but till then, our goods wont come easily so it wont be priced cheaply. We dont want to be like nigeria who tries to play d fire bigrade of africa while they recieve scorns as thanks by fellow african states.

in biafra we must endeavour to make our energy n environmental policies green. We would promote a green country even if it would be expensive we will do it to gain in a long run. so when we think of power supply it must be environment friendy same with every product we release in to d market. we want to ,be d most environmental friendly zone on d earth crust don't we? That alone would bring tourist to d country as well as countries seeking advice on that aspect which wont be free either. So to arrive at that we must start at birth!!!!

More like the nearest military manned weapon site. The thought of having heavy arms even under the control of police is frightening.
There have been incidents of police coups in some countries before.
Israel already does what I propose. For a country with a history of wars and invasions by bitter neighbors, Israel does an excellent job of keeping guns away from ordinary citizens. With the exception of the "settlers", the rest of Israeli society is barely armed; yet the country relies on a reserve force of all citizens of fighting age.
The argument that guns must be in the hands of citizens to defend against invasion and coups if a false argument.
We can have civil society as well as strong defence.

thatz a nice
1....... Xo therefore arms should be with the army. I concore.
Politics / Re: Biafra Will Be Totally Different From Nigeria. Here's How! by xyzhill(m): 10:42am On Oct 15, 2015
AAinEqGuinea:

I will look up those cases.
What happens if your neighbors really don't care to antagonize Biafra? Do you still want to arm everyone?
Your army's composition will likely reflect your population. Even the weakest will have a heart of a lion and fights will ensue. Guns won't help these situations. If any practical solution can be entertained, you can have gun houses ran by local police departments in the event that the nation is being overran by foreigners or maybe the person likes to hunt game and needs a gun.
carnegiefan:

Touche for bolded words... but then that is exactly why we shouldn't introduce a gun culture.
There is a very important point that AAinEqGuinea made, and it is that we cannot simply assume that our neighbors will invade us. Nobody wants to invade a country with well trained military. I was watching a documentary on Youtube that stated that Israel trains her pilots for many many more years than any Arab country, and their thinking is quite simple -better training makes better soldiers. Hence one Israeli pilot flying the same plane can down 10 of Arab ones.
There is relative peace among countries of the world today, and the reason is that almost every country has a relatively better trained military than in the 40s or 60s. No matter how greedy an invader may be, the invader risks death if invading a country with a well trained and well equipped military. A lot of countries will love to invade and overrun Israel, but they are not doing so for a reason.
To me, the peace and serenity that will fuel our innovation will be defeated if we can't move around FREELY, ANY TIME, ANYWHERE in Biafra.
A scientist might be in his/her lab for days and work many odd hours. Kanu said that we will build Biafra DAY AND NIGHT for 70 years, LOL.
A bitter enemy armed with a handgun can waylay someone in the night. We are peaceful, but we are also human beings.
BlackTechnology:

You guys make me laugh thinking that our neighbours love us so much not to invade us
Carnegiefan you are even more funny thinking that the presence of well trained troops scares away invasion
Do you know that Czechoslovakia had the best arms and army in central Europe yet was attacked by Hitler
My fellow comrades
The worst mistake we will make is to let our guards down
the thread is very intresting n informative. It feels like we are in d paliament and ur agurments are all centred on d PEOPLE. That is what a true goverment is n what biafra will be....... my take on d debate on the floor is that biafrans should be trained to oppose any invading country while arms are being controlled by the local police. Like AAInEqGuniea stated,i say n quote,''the ppl will only be let access to arms when invaded or when going for hunts if ''so so'' is a game lover''. That way d people will be trained to withstand invasion as well as arms will be controlled, so we will live in internal peace while defending our soveriegnty will be garanteed. Xo we have it both ways.......... our regular army should be up to 4million or above while d reserve should be d ppl.

My CGPA after 100L was 3.41.At end of 200L it had risen to 3.7+. I had 4.2 & 4.4 in my 1st ånd 2nd semester 200L respectively. And for 300 & 400 Level I jst worked to maintain my 2:1. My least GPA in any semester from 300 to 400L was 3.58 which was 300L first semester. My final CGPA was arnd 3.8 as my 400L GPA was above 4.0.

I loved dat CGPA game.

Today rained cat and dog in lagos, and ikeja (computer village) which happened to be the centre of lagos! The biggest area of commercial activities was all flooded to the extent that both male and females had to pull out their footwears to "swim" those floods, I and my friend aint exempted in this terrible experience as we had to pull off the shoes to start moving inside dirty ikeja water which only God knows the direction it was flowing from..

Around Opebi bridge if you know computer village very well, you will notice some guys hang around their shouting and selling all manner of things, majority of them are into Tatooing and Pink lips. They hold a small container/bottle containing a pink colour gel telling you is for pink lips nd all.. I have been seeing them their ever since the tatoo and pink lips activity came to nigeria lagos.

So today my friend decided to patronise them as he wanted to feel among the pink lips league, he approached one of them, and asked him how much is the pink lips cream, the guy said "1500" and he priced "1000 naira" the guy quicly agreed and gave him the small pet container and collected 1k.I was just asking him, how sure is he this gon work, the guy selling the stuff showed us his own lips which was fairly pink, but in my mind I never believed all these guys. On our way home, I asked him to bring the container, I would love reading it and all! Because I have the idea that honey, sugar etc are part of the ingredients for the pink lips cream, only for me not to see any label on the container,I opened it to inhale/smell it.. It was smelling like a cream I was familiar with.. I told him this is fake and not real,he doubted.. I was really cracking my head to remember the name of the cream that smells same way! Later on I found out it was the popular cream " CARO WHITE" yes! It is caro white whitening cream been sold for 200hundred naira or so. To elaborate and clear his doubt we went to a shop got caro White cream, percieved the odour and it was all same both colour, and smell!

My guy was devasted! This is real my people! These ikeja boys can sell anything just to make money and earn daily living!

I thankGod today was an Eye opener! So many people have been falling victim of this! BEWARE!

Goodnight

actually it is a mixture of carol white and epiderm which is highly dangerous to the lips cuz they both contain high toning agents and cause reactions when used on the lips like bleeding, sores and possibly lip cancer..... I try to warn as many as I knw dat uses it. Pls do same...... save some ignorant "lips"

Next is Industry/Manufacturing:

This sector shall received MAXIMUM attention by the Biafran state. Basically suffice to say that technology shall form the legs upon which the nation shall stand. To make this happen as desired, a fixed percentage (2%) of the GDP must ANNUALLY be budgeted to support research and technology by Biafran universities and private tech companies, each of which must be made to specialize in one or two specific fields of technology.

For instance, a university can specialize in auto engineering, while another in computer engineering, and another in aviation physics and aerospace technology.

The government funds should be by way of grants mainly, each of which must only be renewed upon showing of WORLD CLASS products.
Biafra will aim to dominate specific corners of each field of technology. For example, Biafra can choose to be the worldwide authority in ship propellers, or naval navigation systems (software for example)

The grants should go to universities and private companies which have demonstrated RESULTS not plans.

So, to recap. Biafra will invest at least 2% of GDP into technological innovations ANNUALLY.

Biafra has demonstrated during the last war that our engineers could build guided anti-ship missiles, and that was at a time when computers have not been very much miniaturized. Building such weapon today should be easier since we also have better trained scientists and engineers.

Biafran scientists shall work both in universities, and tech companies on a rotating basis. cool
carnegiefan:
One more issue to discuss is Taxation:
A very sound taxation system is the bedrock of a modern economy. I personally prefer that we emphasize more on VAT (or sales tax) than any other taxes. PAYE is still good, but it tends to be evaded by people a lot. But a robust VAT system and a reduced company tax would help to attract some of the world leading companies (after infrastructure has been first taken care of, of course). Instead of hounding people all over the place because of personal income tax ( a lot of our people will still be traders and business persons no matter what), we can have a high rate of VAT. We can use VAT to encourage or discourage consumption of particular goods and services.
