EducationRe: All Hotels In Owerri Fully Booked! FGGC Owerri Old Students Stranded by Yankiss(m): 12:58pm On Nov 03, 2023
The rigging plot being activated. Uzodinma wants reelection by force and fire. Why did the Old Girls Association choose close to election in their own state for their reunion - is it election related?
PoliticsRe: Imo Will Be Battle Field If The Police Commissioner Isn’t Removed - Sam Amadi by Yankiss(m): 8:17pm On Nov 02, 2023
There is need for restraint by all and sundry. The democratic process in Nigeria is under trial. All eyes on the out season elections in Imo, Kogi and Bayelsa. We need to get it right for once!!
Foreign AffairsRe: 11 Israeli Soldiers Killed In Gaza (Video) by Yankiss(m): 7:08pm On Nov 01, 2023
War is a two-edge dagger. It doesn't exhaust in one direction alone. There must be counter-casualties. We pray for peace in the world and an end to terrorism of any kind.
CrimeRe: Eight Cross-dressers Bag Three Months Imprisonment In Kano State by Yankiss(m): 5:17pm On Nov 01, 2023
The beating with cane part got me cracking with laughter. Sharia court doesn't play. If applied down south almost all young boys would fall foul of the law. It has become the norm to see young guys wearing earrings with plaited hairs and some times lady's hair cover. Abeg this part of sharia should be imported to constitutional law and applied on all Nigerians. grin

PoliticsRe: Communique Issued At The End Of The Meeting Of Pdp Governors Forum Held In Abuja by Yankiss(m): 9:07am On Nov 01, 2023
Sim Fubara needs to grow intimidating beard. Look as how a whole R/S governor looks like their house boy there? No wonder Wike thought his installation was third term for him. grin He is leaning the rope, however. Wike should not ush too far to avoid losing Rivers State entirely.

Good job, if true. It's curious that this news is coming with no pictorial evidence or video. Or we can go and verify, in Obi's parlance?
SportsRe: Cristiano Ronaldo Likes And Comments On A Video Mocking Messi’s Ballon D’or. by Yankiss(m): 4:29pm On Oct 31, 2023
Ronaldo is a sore loser. He is no doubt a great player, one of bests. But it won't take anything from him acknowledging Messi's feat or else maintain complete silence other than this pettiness.

Well, this is better than outright jungle justice. If this were in Aba, the phone thief would be frying with tyres on his neck by now.

NewDea4:
All our leaders' kids carry 2nd passports from either America or Europe, some of them are not even with Nigerian passports they're straight-up foreigners. The biggest fools are the emilokan zombies supporting them to plunder Nigeria, in exchange for crumbs like 100k salary to post garbage online

Even Mc oluomo has his nine kids in America, k-1 too. Shettima just got back from seeing his new baby born on U.S soil, yet fools like Rostikol are on here rooting for the ongoing enlavement of their entire descendants for the next 200 years...such pathetically brainless and worthless fools they make me wanna puke
You nailed it. So gross. We have foreigners managing our country and expect it to be productive!
PoliticsRe: 1.2 Million Euros Worth Of Equipment Needed To Maintain Eko Bridge – FG by Yankiss(m): 6:49am On Oct 30, 2023
What is the challenge when we can always borrow and leave the sum and accrued interest to future generations, that doesn't include our families?

Let's say you get married to a stubborn foreign woman.. What then? Would you divorce her when you could've avoided the whole thing in the beginning?

I don't know about Nigeria, but if we had to be honest with ourselves, when it comes to traditional African marriage, there's no such a thing called divorce, once you're married, you're married.
Stubbornness is proof of individuality. It's not a ground for divorce. Even though a king is used to being obeyed and stubborn queen can be challenging but that can be handled. Traditional marriage is final here too. Once a queen, always a queen as the saying goes. The only ground for divorce is spousal infidelity which brings opprobrium to the crown. And I believe that is universal.

Samantha124:
Correct me if I'm wrong, isn't it that the purpose of being a royal leader is to preserve the royal culture and encourage the community to do the same thing?

If the answer is yes, then why want a woman who's unfamiliar with your cultural practices and language?
You are partly right and partly wrong. It doesn't take long to assimilate foreign cultures. In less than a year, a foreigner, by association is already conversant with several sociocultural practices. Yes, the king preserves tradition and culture. Culture is dynamic. The positive aspect of that cross fertilization is the possibility of importation of positive cultures from other areas.

But I can't imagine myself looking at 60 years old man and falling in love because of his power even if he's the richest man in Africa.

Or am I abnormal? undecided undecided undecided
You are not abnormal. You have not conditioned yourself to such. Some ladies prefer older men. It's a matter of choice and preferences. I am not in the 50s so I am still young grin grin grin

Are you telling me that those African Kings who got married to young wives while in their old age did it with their young wives will?

Because I doubt it... They must've done something to make the wives love them.
They did nothing. Just love. women love men of power and means. Age is just a number. They take care of them very well.
