Okay.

In case you have some questions that you'll like to ask privately about SA, you can try KingCold or Jaceblaze.

They're very much active in here and I hope they'll be able to give you the information that you need.
Great!! Thanks a lot. I appreciate.

I respect authority but I have never been afraid to speak my mind. Him running after you after you laid your boundaries seemed simpish but he already clarified that it was so other purposes not diick and pussy mattaz!!!

I was once excommunicated for calling an elder a weak ass simp. And I was right, because his darling wife poisoned him shortly after because he was weak.
It's actually good to be bold. I like those ready to tell truth to power! Sycophancy is the major bane of leadership!!

Samantha124:
Well, if you ask me, most of the kingships from my tribe are just useless.

If you go to them with an issue, they'll most likely refer you to the municipality instead of fulfilling their duties as the leaders of their communities by taking their people's issues into consideration and approaching the municipality themselves with a way forward.

Yet these people get paid by the government for being traditional rulers..🤦🤦🤦
It's very wrong if they act that way there. That's why I told u a king is a servant of the people in disguise.

They have no option. If they fail, Jagaban will disband DSS overnight and hand the officials over to EFCC for trial. He doesnt take trash like Buhari.

Most African kingships have grown greedy nowadays to a point that I don't take them seriously anymore.

Immediately someone becomes King, they marry many wives and take their children to school abroad, neglecting their duties as community leaders.

I don't take these kingships seriously and if it was according to me, they should be banished... But if they're still useful for the people of Nigeria, then who am I to judge you?
Yes, some are useful others are not. Every system must justify its existence else it would become obsolete. I share your angst though I am in the system. It's well. They keep their women well. The main issue is neglecting their subjects. It's wrong!!!

I only know King Mswati as the last absolute monarch in Africa.
You are somehow correct. The other two are constitutional monarchs in the sense that their powers are spelt out in the constitution. They have bounds unlike the Ngwenyama

Oh! Okay.. That's nice.
Thank you. Leadership spent in self aggrandizement is wasted. There is joy in seeing people smile, in seeing their faces light up at sight of you. In being genuinely happy to see u.

Who's the other absolute monarch?
King of Mohammed V of Morocco and Lesotho's king Letsie 111 . But I think the later two are constitutional Monarchs. The only real absolute Monarch is the Ngwenyama Eswatini

There's a negative press against him because it's evident from his people that they're suffering and he's not doing anything for them... They're just his slaves.

When the people protested against the monarchy back in 2021, he had them killed. And his daughter princess Sikhanyiso, who used to lead the Reed dance and was a symbol of purity is now a mother out of wedlock.

Only virgins participate in the Reed dance, but something tells me that his daughter lost her virginity long time ago, but they kept it a secret and she continued participating in the dance until she got pregnant.
If these be the case, he is not leading at all. He is just a dictator. How can one groom a responsible daughter when the children are so many. He obviously didnt have the time for them. He is risking the monarchy. The people cannot remain his slaves forever. One day is one day a revolt could lead to his assassination and an overthrow of the monarchical system. He is about one of two absolute monarchs in Africa. There was the Russian revolution. Those who fail to learn from negative history are bound to repeat it - with pains!!

In this modern day world, what can you say it's your purpose as the king or the traditional ruler in your community?

What are the things that you've proudly done for your community so far?
I became king to serve my people. The king is merely the servant of his people in disguise. I love my people. I hate oppression. I have achieved innumerably. Attracted numerous government presence. Liberated landed assets of communities illegally annexed by the state government. Assisted many of my subjects to get paid employ. Stopped intimidation of my people by anybody or agency of govt whatsoever. There is also the area of cultural identification and protection. There are many innumerable. When I release my memoir you can be holistically abreast. I am not the image of the arrogant king. I mix well with my subjects. My people love me, especially the children.

Samantha124:
Aren't there consequences for disrespecting the King?
No direct consequences. It depends on the severity of disrespect. The king wields powers even in ceremonial and non monarchical systems like ours. There's a kind of disrespect that sets one against the entire kingdom or community, not just the king. So, a wise person does the needful to avoid implied hostilities. grin

That man hasn't done anything for his people, all he does is spent the State money on his women, take his kids to fancy schools abroad, and live in a palace made of gold from the inside.

His people are living in poverty and when they protest, he gets them killed... He abducted one of his wives and forced her to marry him even after her family pleaded with him to release her.

He kept her inside the palace for about a year before letting her out in the public as his wife... Who knows what he was doing with her inside the palace.
It's so bad. But to pass judgment, there must be a flip side to the allegations. He must have to defend them. There's a plethora of negative press against him. The yearly reed dance and taking of bride I think is cultural. But taking women against their will and without family consent seems to me really gross and unacceptable. His late father, Subhuza 11 was worse with women, nicknamed the great bull. grin

Nothing o. But you will only look foolish being the only exception. You would be seen as disrespecting the entire kingdom and not just the king o grin grin You garrit now?

Obi and legal team should be really careful. Jagaban is a take it by all means necessary. He risks his petition being struck off on technical grounds not even on the demerit of it.

Come to think of it, King Mswati was only 18 when he was crowned King.

Damn! He was still a baby too.
Yes, still a baby but father of his people. You don't dare treat him like a baby then, you know. grin

Samantha124:
But you are still young... I wouldn't take you seriously if you were my king or traditional ruler... grin grin grin
Wow. You are duty bound to, if u were in my domain or from my domain. Age is immaterial. By the concept of kingship among my people, the king whatever his age is father of all. You will see elders bowing to the king. My chiefs are all my elders in age but they stand up and bow in deference to my presence. That's the beauty of culture.

If you're not comfortable asking those things here, then I'd suggest that you do a research.

There are also some male SA nairalanders in here that I can mention for you and maybe they can agree to chat with you privately and assist you.
You can suggest, if you are sure they are good. Thank you!

I don't fault you trying to reach out to her. I fault your continued interest after she told you nope. Let her be. Shows you have some respect for your father's name.

The useless simps who masqueraded as good guys on NL went offline to spoil their fathers' names in her DM and that made her wary of Nigerians. This is why simps need to be wiped off the face of the earth. Instead of being truthful to themselves or even the lady, they will pretend, act mumuishly and agree to any and every rule, just to have a girl's number, then start behaving like rabid dogs during chats and sending useless messages, after agreeing to laid down rules(made for them by a woman).

That's why as a redpiller, you either tell her your true intentions or back dafuq off and let her be. I can just imagine how many girls on this forum that simps have messed with, blocking the way for the real OGs to date.

Fvck simps!!! 😡😡😡😡
Lol. Nothing like continued interest. I am visiting RSA in a while for program and dont know jack about anywhere or anything there. I was struck by her knowledge of the country. Not everything can be stated in an open world like this including presence in any particular place. This is due to serious security reasons. I am a king. Not a few have been murdered in my area lately for making their itineraey public. If u must know, I am married with children and have other interests here than dates. Thank you for the advice.
TravelRe: Moove Is Impounding Uber Drivers’ Cars In Nigeria by Yankiss(m): 8:38am On May 31, 2023
This is citizen oppression indeed. There should be a regulatory agency monitoring the execution of these contracts to avoid underhand dealings. The drivers could try to cheat. On the other hand Moove could be very autocratic and inhuman if their activities are not subject to regulation. Any non Governmental organization can take up this. It bleeds my heart that someone would devout daily payments and make over a million Naira in loan repayment but denied vehicle due to a month or two default.

I've had some unpleasant experiences trying to form private platonic friendships with some nairalanders.

Before I could even chat with them privately, I made some ground rules for them and they agreed, but as we started chatting privately, they completely changed from the nice brothers they were here on nairaland to something else.

So I'm not going down that road again.. grin grin grin
Everyone is not same. It's immaturity. I am a king and a writer. I have other interests. Respond to my mail. Ok.

You are so funny. Very funny. I am a young man o. Those are the ones I have doubts about their South African tribes. I know Julius Malema aka Juju, etc. grin grin Why is whatsapp impossible? They block it in RSA? grin grin
