Politics › Re: Adesoji Adesida: OPC Member Pushes Ondo Prince To Death During Funeral In Akure by yemi1504: 6:33pm On May 05, 2023 |
ebukajay184: A member of the Oodua People's Congress (OPC), Rafiu Akinwale, has allegedly killed an Akure Prince, Adesoji Adesida, in Ondo State, IGBERETV reports. According to report, the incident occurred at a funeral held at the Dome in Akure on Friday, April 28, 2023. Akinwale, who also came to the funeral, was reportedly beating his girlfriend over an accusation that she was exchanging phone numbers with another man.
It was gathered that an attempt by Adesida to prevent Akinwale from beating the girlfriend did not go down well with the OPC member, who out of anger, reportedly pushed the prince. He was said to have slumped.
An eyewitness, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the victim was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead. He further said that the suspect has been arrested by the policemen at Ala station in Akure.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the State Police Command, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, said investigation was ongoing on the case.
She added that the suspect was still in police custody where he was being interrogated by detectives.
A cousin to the deceased, Prince Stephen Adeyinka Adeyinka, also confirmed the incident in a Facebook post on Monday, May 1, 2023. His post read;

Aufbauh: You kids like rambling. In as much as the call is unnecessary, it's equally unacceptable at this time & age for the country to be recording this abysmally low voters turnout.
Even with your candidate claim of voters suppression and intimidation in other places, his own home front that he got 98% votes was equally low in turnout. If the elections are free and fair and INEC do not change their guidelines in the middle of the game as they did with the Presidential elections, people will vote. Why people are not voting is because of the trust deficit people have in INEC to conduct free and fair elections. Let INEC set its house in order first as regards that and there will definitely be improvement. |

concho: We started dating when she got admission in 2018. She was a novice and a church girl then . There was nothing like intimacy till 2021 and that was when I deflowered her ,
Since I promised my self that I must marry who ever I deflowered , I started taking care of some parts of her needs hoping that I will get financially stable and settle down with her .
She was the type of girl that everyone assumed to be an angel . I trusted her more than anything on earth .
She is too jealous that she suspects that I’m cheating even when I was not . She misinterprets everything an opposite sex sends to me
Fast forward to 2022 . She visited one day and got upset that another girl referred to me as “babe” on chat instead of saying “hi” . I insisted that she brings her own phone so I check if a guy has never called her babe
On getting to her chat , I noticed this guy that she saved as “my favorite” . They had no chats (she deletes everything) . I decided to dig deeper only to find out that this guy has been going to her house (family house ) to sleep with her . It’s not once , it’s not twice . And it was frequent the period she even said I should give her space that they were doing family prayers
The worst is that I told the mum and elder siblings out of anger. They did absolutely nothing . The mum only denied knowing that the guy comes around when everyone is out
A month later, I saw a chat of the mum asking her why she doesn’t pick the guy’s call again . I almost ran mad
She has promised and vouched that she won’t try such again and doesn’t know what came over her her .
I have tried everything possible to forgive her since no one treats me the way she does , but I keep loosing weight and falling sick by day .
I’m currently depressed and don’t know what to do again Women! |
