I think sending children to most of the middle east schools is also one of the reason behind this.  They are incorcated into thier children and they change totally their orientation.

I don't think degree is a must. I must tell you that its crazy having to get 3 degrees at a time. Any good recruiter will not shotrlist anyone with 3 degrees for a single position. Best bet you can have BSc, MBA/MSc and a must professional qualification that of your background. That is sufficient.

I pity the guy. He may end up loosing everythn he's entitled. He should have resolved his grievance with the council of chiefs.

From your post, you are really an aboki. Its only abokis that will always reason this way. The constitution is always clear on what we are going through now. The Northerners are really dragging Nigeria back on everything. We need to have an active president who can move us forward and you are saying the North is the heart. Not only the hearth, they the kidney.

Earlier this year, I posted here regarding how I lost my job with a highly regarded and reputable IT Firm in the country as a result of universal meltdown. Thank God I found another job but sincerely for 7 months of out of job, it was like a hell.
