This is the structure a smart politician relies on and not directly with electorates. Your governors, senators, Rep, local govt chairmen, down to wards cancellors has many people benefiting from them, and these people will do whatever in their capacity to convince those under them to vote for who their benefactor supported. Forget what you read on social medias, in this part of the world, people decide whom to vote for by connection and not by accessing the candidates performances or manifestos.

Peter Obi made a very fatal mistake by not building the labour party.Nobody can be president of Nigeria without a formidable party structure.

Not only that but also fail to lead Obidients in proper manners.

He is simply not smart enough to lead in a larger capacity. After the 2023 general election that gave him a hooping 6M+ votes, a smart politician would've congratulate the winner, profusely thanks Obidients for supporting him and urge them to love one another and ensure they work hard to achieve their goal in next election.

He should have immediately become a leader and spoke person for obidents group and Labour party.

He should've silently consult smaller parties and promise them juicy positions in his government. No small party will see a person with a secured 6m+ votes and not align with his course.

He should've increase his philanthropy mission in the core North withiout attracting medias or cameras at all. The video should only be use for campaigns in future.

His criticism of government should have been more objective and solution providing oriented.

Trust me, if he has done all this, the 25% votes needed up North would've naturally come his way. I can categorically tell you today that he has lost the good will he once enjoyed with intelligent obidents, including his inner cacus the day he team up with corrupt politicians in ADC. About 90% of Obidients now are igbos. That says, Obi may not even get upto 3m votes as against 6m+ he got in the last election.

Exactly. In trying to be smart, Wike and Tinubu have now boxed themselves into a corner. A Northerner clinching the PDP ticket automatically kills any agitation for power to remain in the South. On the other hand, a Southwesterner clinching the ticket means even less votes for Tinubu. Double jeopardy for the master strategist. APC and Wike proxies should tone down on the Southern agitation in order not to make this election a North-South supremacy battle because Tinubu will lose handsomely if that be the case. Who on earth will waste his money contesting for president under PDP? No sensible politicians will sponsor a candidate under the umbrella of PDP. They are APC team B, they will just give the ticket to one irrelevant Kwara, Bayelsa or Kogi man. Or better still a Yoruba whose nobody can exchange for Tinubu.

The first mistake you made was paying less than the amount requires to finish remaining work or ask him whether he has another money to join, since your money can't finish it.

Now that it has happened, if the money you paid can fix the necessary things, and he refuse to accept your advise, then you have every right to demand for full repayment. I won't advise you to pay any lawyer or police for now, just go there with your big brother, pastor or someone he doesn't know and let the person give him a specific time to complete the work or give you back your money.

I was house hunting around a popular city here in nigeria but it was unsuccessful... not that I couldn't fine any but it wasn't just my kinda spec...

I had given up already but at the last minute I was introduced to an uncompleted building (self con).. uncompleted building in the sense that it's never been tiled, no windows, no doors etc.... the landlord promised to fix everything up in three weeks time if I atleast commit a year and half rent...

I hurriedly paid, did the paperwork and all that (who no like virgin house) i said to myself. This been three months and the house is yet to be fixed...i mean nothing had been done. His usual excuse is "am gathering enough money to fix it to ur taste"... The agent that introduced me to the apartment advised me to deposit the remaining six months rent so he can finish it up...

Should I make the deposit?

Did you take your time to calculate how much the remaining work on the building would cost before you make payment? Has he started working on it or not doing anything at all?

If the money you paid can comfortably fix it, then the landlord should be blame but if not, both of you and the agent should be blame.

The best option here is to have a meeting with them and resolve the matter amicably because the chances you will get your money back is slim. If he has already started work, you can pay more and get it completed.

Atiku/Obi ticket, southerners and North Central will most likely align with Tinubu second term, not because they like him but because of Atiku a Fulani after 8 years of Buhari( another Fulani man).

Obi/El rufai, with this ticket Tinubu doesn't even need to campaign again. He will get enough votes from the North and entire South (except south east).

Opay is the best thing that would ever happened to Nigerians in terms of banking. Those who are still afraid to bank with them are either old school or people that lack exposure. They are also insured by central bank, just like traditional banks. There are people keeping upto 50m naira in their accounts with Opay.

If you think Traditional bank are more safer, it miss you never had an encounter with them. Just yesterday, I saw a lady in the bank fighting over her mum 945k mysteriously disappeared in her account. Something we had never hear from Opay.

About 2 years ago, some people tell me that if I open a business account with FCMB and run it for a little while, I will stand a big change to obtain a good big loan from them. That was how I approached their branch o, I submitted all my documents including two references, passport photos and 15,000 as opening deposit. Could you believe till this moment that i am typing They never open the account. I went there more than 10 times, all they do is to promise me they will work on it. No feedback, nothing nothing, and it 2 years now.

This what I have been saying, just 5 million naira is enough to build 2 rooms selfcointain. Give this mini flat to people to be pay back in 20 years at the rate of 250k per year. Those who have money can outrightly pay off or pay more per years. If a governor can allocate 60 billions naira to renovate government House, imagine what 100 billions invested in min flats would have done in 4 years. 100b will give appropriate 20,000 Houses, and in 4 or 8 years of governor tenor, he would've constructed 80,000 or 160,000 units.
