KnowledgePower7: One of my padi padi travelled to canada january this year. If you see this guy pictures now you go shock Back in naija this same guy resemble Jagaban. normally the guy wor wor but he get bar. Upon all the bar, his skin no fresh always has an oily face.
After spending 3 months in canada the guy face come cleaaarr and clean. Over fresh come dey worry am. His instagram pics come be like before and after I come dey wonder how?? Is their something in abroad air or is it their water or their food??
Why do nigerians begin to look fresh after going abroad
Good food and nothing else.
Food is the cheapest thing anyone can ever worry about in developed countries( I mean high quality protein filled foods).
omofeyi: So I came across this new show called Jeez Millionaire Show on TikTok, and it instantly caught my attention. In one episode, a lady was asked the question: "What is the actual meaning of illiterate?"
In Nigeria, we throw that word around a lot often incorrectly. I used to think my mom was an illiterate, but after watching that clip and reading the proper definition, I realized she actually isn’t.
Funny enough, the lady on the show got the ₦500,000 question wrong and honestly, I probably would’ve too. The options were kind of tricky.
Watch the short video below and let us know what you think!
Obakoolex: All Nigerian politicians have the same ideology... Fortune first, family legacy second!!!
Citizens are tertiary to the good ones among them.
That's why they always become so unquestionably wealthy after leaving office.
It is not all about politicians but all living souls in Nigeria.
An average Nigerian is just too greedy, egoistic and wicked. An average Nigerian wealthy man doesn’t care about anyone but himself, wives and children. Is it the same people that doesn't care about people around them that will care about masses they don't know when attained position of authority?
timilehin007: Before this Ojulari's appointment..Kwara used to belong to the Fulani and northern state o..you people never considered Kwara to be a Yoruba state...suddenly, Ojulari is a yoruba man now that he assumes this post
That doesn't still change the fact that he is a Yoruba man.
Only Yorubas from Kwara are always hear of in both social and political space and not any other tribe.
Nazgul: We can still make it. If we win our remaining 4 matches, we'll be on 16 points, if south Africa drops points and we defeat them, we'll overtake them. We can still make it.
Does that team looks like the one that can win 4 consecutive matches?
OKOATA: But Natasha a woman like you was empowering others, how many have you empowered. Ordinary small empowerment can change a person's life totally. So 1M can't rent a shop or do anything at all? So even person wey won sell okrika, frozen food business, even POS can't start with 1M? Then you yourself is a waster in real life.
Mayb you guys are still being fed by your parents or just so ignorant of current reality. The fact that you mentioned frozen food business is enough to say you know absolutely nothing about reality.
The girl is obviously telling him the truth, she didn't say she can't start business with 1m, she was only telling him that 1m can't start a business that she have to rent a shot. A shop at good location these day will gulp nothing less than 400k total package from that money. Instead of him to encourage or teach her how to manage the fund, he is here accusing her wrongly.
Awesome01: Instead of this why not a Bill to change geopolitical zones to Regions with each headed by its own Heads of Region.
Thereby scapping either the Senate or the HOR and subsequently allow each region's HOR to make laws that is suitable and applicable to their respective regions.
A Bill to turn all these 6 or 7 geopolitical zones to actual regions with each having its own supervising leader to manage their own regions the way they like and with a President of a United Regions of Nigeria.
Advantages: . It will bring serious competitive development . It will relief the stress on the Federal government. . It will foster peace and communal understanding of values, customs and tribal unity. . It will help in regional policing. . It will reduce waste in redundant ministries. . And more.
That can only work in a parliamentary system of government they are trying to pass the bill on. It is a vital step to regionalism.
You cant have the system you mentioned under presidential system we are currently running.
Hope you get where this state actors headed by president is heading now?
olyrayy: The North is not a monolith. Tafawa Balewa's party had the largest number of votes, but they were far from being the majority. They needed to form a coalition with another party to run the government.
By the way, Obafemi Awolowo approached Azikiwe and asked for a coalition. Both parties, combined with some other Northern minority parties would have been enough to form a coalition. Azikiwe would have been prime minister and Awolowo wanted to be minister of finance.
Azikiwe said no.
After everything you typed, this was your conclusion? The very thing that causes the civil war was regionalism.
Military men caused the civil war and not regionalism.
Regionalism is the right way to go if this country is to work, and I see this step as a vital step towards it.
redcliff: If them really ask you now, the lagos wey u dey defend, one single property you no get there.
It doesn't matter sir, Nigeria is a very diverse interogeneuous society with a well recognised indigenous people that have something in common.
You don't expect a total stranger to one day come out and attempt to lead them in the name of claiming indigine after living there for a certain period of time without causing a bloody crisis within the same society.
There are thing we the present generation need to avoid to ease off problems for future one. It would've made sense if the bill is focus on a situation where all Yoruba, Hausa or Igbo will become indigenes within every state that is primarily occupied by their fellow ethnics.
Except we are pretending not to know, you and I know that the purpose of the bill is to make Lagos a no man's land and nothing else.
Mrexcell: Tinibu will never sign this one because of his cash cow lagos state igbos will just automatically take over lagos which will even turn into an ethnic war.
It is a bill that shouldn't have been consider in the first place, the target of the bill sponsors and its apologists is Lagos. It means all other ethnic groups that have been in Lagos for long would automatically become indigenes.
It is an attempt to turn Lagos to no man's land and subsequently create serious crisis or civil war in future.
You will be shocked to see the number of people that have already paid. They will call her broke woman and other sort of names for this outburst.
Nigerians will rather steal what belong to the next generation to impress their fellow Nigerians than to allow their society to progress. I won't say blacks are useless creatures but very certain we are not reasonable humans that should be in a modern society.
zero8zero: This is what a Christian President and a Christian VP couldn't give you, but a Muslim/Muslim ticket is going to give you. And trust me, this bill has passed the second reading, for the first time in history and surely Tinubu will make sure it is passed and the constitution be reviewed to accommodate it. The overall goal of all these fantastic bills is a new constitutional review. That's why Tinubu is not distracted by coalition of losers and the headless mob making noise on social media. Tinubu is laser focused on his mandate of renewed Hope, fairness to all religion and regions and his reelection is as strong as a horse's manhood.
You are not smart at all, this has nothing to do with Tinibu or presidency, this is an attempt by sharia apologists from the North to make establishment of Sharia Court all over Nigeria looks more justifiable.
AdesegunSanni89: Atiku is the one sponsoring Natasha Akpoti to destabilize the Nigerian senate, same way he used Saraki. He wants to remove Akpabio before the screening of the next INEC chairman nominee. Akpabio is going no where. He remains senate president till 2027 insha Allah.
Lolz, it is only one man that can remove Akpabio, and that person is solely Tinubu.
We have a president who is so powerful and know how to use power to his advantage. From my personal assessment of his political journey, that man is not someone you can easily remove through ballots. Same with Atiku, Kwankwaso or sule Lamido, you can't possibly remove these men through ballots.
RaymondEasyLife: Hello Nairalanders please I need help... . Which Skill or handwork can I learn at Age 28 ?
I don't have anything doing, I always stay indoors doing nothing please I need a lucrative easy skill to learn, the one that will yield positive results and the one that will last in the hands of time and won't go into extinction, please I'm thinking of learning Electrician , but I'm scared of electric... I also have a second thoughts on learning Solar inverter installation, please Elders in the house help me out
Hard skills; wielding, mechanical, Capentery, electrical, tailoring,or bricklaying.
Soft skills: coding, graphic design, Web development and digital marketing.
Solar inverter installation is not a sustainable profession, stable light can send it into extinction. Electrical is good but too petty, except you are well connected and often get full houses contracts, you maybe living from hands to mouth because join join works you would be getting may not sustain only you, let alone if you have a family.
helinues: South Africa vs Benin match must not end a in draw or we might really struggle from the group
Haaaaa, I think a draw between them will favour us more as both team will lose 2 point each. If we win our next match, and they play draw, we will be at the same point with Benin and just 2 point behind South Africa.
So if we beat both of them and other matches, we will qualify easily. Besides, both team will still lose points playing Zimbabwe or Lesotho.
NtoAkwaIbom: You guys are expecting Tinubu to play fair, come 2027, and that the beginning of U guys woes..
Una see things n things wey him surmount to be President, Una thinks say him go Cary him reelection d play with Una... As the GCFR, omohhh, Baba no go gree opposition breath
Many are novice when come to politics, especially majority of Obidients and Obi himself. No sensible Southerner will waste his money to contest with another southerner that have already spent 4 years in power. North I know 100% would rather vote someone with 4 years remaining than someone with potential of spending 8 years and subsequently keep them off power they cherish so much for good 12 years. A candidate from the North too won't sell well in entire South and North Central. Besides, the person in power is a political greatest expert who know how to use power to his advantage. If oppositions doesn't still have sense after what National assembly did for him yesterday, then I don't think they are worth of being called ones.
They will spread this kind of talk or narrative in order to let him believe he can do it all alone. The purpose is to let him contest and divide opposition votes again. Our political structures in Nigeria are so bias and highly characterise by ethnic demagogue.
bestman09: I stand with them. Tinubu is daft. Whatever he is smoking is not good for him.
We say no to TYRANNY!
You are the one that is very daft, president did the right thing to safe oil producing state from impending doom. I will only oppose this move if Fubara is not return after the said six month. Those you are supporting are only playing usual bitter opposition game we all known Nigeria politicians for. All they are after is instability in Niger delta that would have had negative effect on oil production, and eventually deprive government of fund to execute various projects.
As an elder stateman and PDP leader, Atiku is in the right position to call all warning parties into order and settle their riffs. Even Tinubu that is not their party member once tried to intervene, but he keep fueling it through Fubura until everything gone out of hands.
Would you rather watch a bloody civil war if the 27 lawmakers impeach Fubara or see peaceful resolution through emergency declaration?
Dictator because he didn't give wike half of the state allocation??
How did you know that Wike ask for 50% of total state allocation? Did Fubara came out to say this?
The reality is that, both side were wrong in their actions, and the best a president can do is to declare state of emergency to allow all parties settle their riffs. Declaration of state of emergency is good but removal of elected governor is undemocratic in my view.
