The solution is for the 36 states to be independent countries. And those in the same geo political zones should form alliances. Due to shared borders,cultures and traditions,the issue of visa and residency permit should accord them special status.
No state should bear the burden of another state bad choices. Nigeria is one big fertile land. When they see their is no longer free money,each states would buckle up and develop their areas of strength and at their own pace.
Nigeria separation should be like that of Soviet Union. In just 15 years after the collapse,living standards of the former federating units became better. No more bread queue or food stamps.No State should be saddled with the responsibilities of others.

Nigeria is divided to zones along ethnic line. Having six regions or zones would comprise majority of people with the same origin and common interest. The issue of resources control may not have any effect on them since they are more of the same background. Besides, the idea of taking resource to develop regional capital at pre- independence/first Republic is justify as each region were still developing to form part of modern or civil society. Modern regionalism will never follow the same path I think.

Institutions at state level are too Huge and gulped out trillions of naira that would've easily go to local governments for grass root developments. Besides, state governments are too far to the people with slow implementation of needful policies.

I must give it to you, you really understand the baisc dynamism of an average African society. I prefer federal government with 6 executives members representing each geo- political zone and 774 local governments directly under them. This will eliminate governorship and assembly system,which has been proven withiout numbers as wasteful institutions.

Please I need advise on how to handle a situation..I traded with someone on a p2p platform and the person paid from a account that have the same name as his verified name on the p2p platform with “phone payment” as the narration but 2 days later my bank restricted my bank account with my money in it becos of the transaction. I called customer care and they told me the transaction was reported fraudulent. Now the bank is asking me why the person sent me money and if it’s for business transaction I should provide my company CAC and/or company ID with the receipt I issued to the person for the phone sale..I contacted the person I traded with and he said he never reported the transaction as fraudulent he said his bank as also been frozen by his account cos he had a big transaction with someone and they want him to explain the reason of transaction he had done with the person…I don’t know what to do and I don’t think I can go to the bank and explain to them that it’s from crypto transaction we had legally and show them prove..I have more than what I traded in the account but everything was frozen

Bank can't just restrict your account withiout a valid reason.

1. You exceeded the limit of your account type.

2. The money is perceived to be from fraudulent account or person.

3. Someone reported the transaction or you.

Kindly find the root of this problem before you take any step or go to the bank.

Yes, Soyinka as I grew up to know was a great activist. Always "fighting" the government over matters of public interest. His last active freedom fight was the one against GEJ government. He succeeded in booting GEJ out of power. Yes, that was a great feat.

Now, what has actually changed that he is in support of Tinubu's government. What's there, just mention one thing that Tinubu has done to deserve an accolade from a man that will saw GEJ government as the worst.

Let the old man enjoy his last days in peace. He has paid the price through activism during his youthful time criticising governments, it is never a bad idea for the old man to stop troubling his fragile heart.
