Many years aback, my mother use to make a statement, "Move away from poor people, and mingle more with your level'', i use to find that statement to be rather classist, but i can tell you that she was right. Yes inequality and poverty is rife in our society, but there is a limit to what you can do to help people's situation.

The year 2024 has been a blessed one for me business wise, as i got to invest more of what i earned in my business but the call for help, please help me send, can you lend me request can be overwhelming.

As a hyper independent person it is sad to say that i haven't even gotten a gift from people i have helped touched their life in one way other. Even people who borrowed with the promise to pay back haven't fulfilled their commitment.

I am blessed to have a bit of financial success which i hope to last long and outlive my generation, i can't inconvineince myself to beck on everybody's call. At every point i must look at how i put myself first. So this 2025 i plead with all netizens to put themself first and discard any freeloader that may be a threat to your finances.

Military are answerable to president and other authority in power. President/government determine their fates, pay their salary and can remove then at any time. If a solder can call the bluff of authority in power and get away with it, how much more does he needed to execute ordinary civilians at will. We should all be careful in what we support in this country because the government(as bad as it looks) is the last hope of the masses to protect our interests and rights through courts and law enforcement agencies. Government is supreme, irrespective of whoever giving our order, government can't just wake and take up your land withiout the land being enmarked as acquisition areas. It might be true that the general followed a due process in acquiring his land but that doesn't mean it never a government land, because politicians in power are notorious in giving government land to people and assign documents to them.

Talking about military coup, that era has gone with Obasanjo strategy, it will never happen again except we voted in dumb person as president. You can't use what is entrusted in you to oppress others or took over government, it is a crime against humanity for Military who are employ and duly pays to protect the sovereign of a counry to use gun to hijack government. They don't need more than 200m to get all the tractors needed to farm. The only thing that could cost them much is irrigation system, which I think would be perfectly done with 400m. Besides, non of these agricultural institutions lacks these basic equipments or facilities before, they just need money to improve what is on ground.

If not that some of us are not really patriotic and corrupt, these institutions are capable of establish their own mechanised farms withiout government intervention.

I don't know about other cities but there are places in Ibadan that you take your birds to for slaughtering and freezing. They will help you slaughter them with machine, pack it in nylons and freeze in their coldroom for 24/48 hours. Your own is to sell the frozen from there or take it to your frozen store.

I think they charge around #250 per bird now.

Cities, towns or countries are quite different from places, Roads or institutions, no one can erase or alter the fundamental or foundations upon which the former are created or established. Therefore, city, town or country can't be name after anyone that is not traditional or culturally attached to the same place.

As for Tinubu issue, that is completely depends on opposition candidates in 2027, if others chose someone from the South, North will surely give their votes to Tinubu who has only one term left. And if they chose from the North, he won't get good number of votes, especially from core North. Osun having a airport is a complete waste of our scarce resources. Ibadan Airport is less than 15mins to Ikire, Osun -state and less than 60 mins to Osogbo, Ife and Ilesha, why waste the scarce resources on a projects that will eventually become wasted.

1. Land and building do appreciate as well, especially If it at good location. The land/house you build with 50m today might worth 200m in next 15 years.

2. Rent at good location is now too expensive in Niegria, so when the family responsibilities and other life expenses show up in future, you might unable to pay your rent again.

3. Building houses for business is one sure business that hardly fail. You can lose all your furtunes in a business but income from real estate is guarantee.

4. Real Estate is good for retirement package. There will be a time you won't have strength to pursue business, the rent from your houses will surely take care of you as an old man.

5. Lastly, if everyone think like you, where will you be living? If everyone focus on business and refuse to build houses, will you be living on the tree?

I know a few old men who has lost everything but sold some properties to live best for the rest of their lives. Real Estate investment is superb, don't ever underestimate it to avoid future regret. I know how which I have lost so far doing businesses, if I had wise enough to builtt 5 set of room and perlor self con, I should be making nothing less 2 millions naira as side income annually by now.
