ONNYX:This is most sensible comment I read here. You can't just blame school withiout knowing what you stated above. Salary capacity of a school depends largely on its standard and location. Contrary to popular believes, some schools are even running at lost these days. |
Jokers. Who fix a date for a protest and succeeded with it? The real organic protest will start withiout any announcements, and it going to happen soon. We are heading towards a point where no one will tell the next person before staging a massive protest. |
EvilMerodack:Lolz, you think this is Nigeria or African countries where all institutions are barely functions withiout direction of president. |
It is so unfortunate that any program from the government is only made to favour tiny percentage of civil servants. This one too won't be different as the government is too lazy to think of how those outside their payroll will also benefit. |
VinnyBaba:I am not sure because I have see poor men's kids who are very brilliant, and I have also seen rich men kids that are not really brilliant. But the one I can confidently say, is genetic factor. If one or both of the parents are very brilliant, there is tendency that their children would be so brilliant with little or good educational background. |
jmoore:What does concluding part of his Ex- wife post suggest to you? Some of you are still single or just lack wisdom to know that any woman that chose not to be control by her husband can never be a good wife. The genesis of marital crisis could be easily trace to lack of submissiveness on the side of women. Example is this Reno ex wife judging by the last paragraph of her post. |
Hemanwel:What useless heroes are you talking about? They are as useless and corrupt as today politicians, just that Nigerians were still very ignorant about nations affairs back then. Aside that, only few people depends on government or live in the cities, majority produced almost all they eat, and their wants/needs are quite limited compare to nowadays. Nigeria has not been blessed with visionary leaders since its inception. |
Kickkick:Let me give you these pieces of advises. 1. Except if you are paying them a visit, and want to buy something along with a little cash, don't try to show yourself where you are not asked. Except they are dire need of help, and it come directly from your fiancee, don't do it. 2. Don't ever be familiar with your inlaw no matter how nice they are. Be good to them but don't try to create over familiarity. Women can do that to a greater extent but not really healthy for men. 3. Withhold any plan you have to assist them for now, until you marry their daughter. And if you must help them now, let it be through your fiancee and not you directly. Marriage come with alot of responsibilities, you might think you have enough cash to throw around now but when the stress and responsibility later pile up for you in the marriage, and you are unable to help or give them attention again, you may become their sworn enemy. And trust me, there would be alot of demands and responsibility you won't be able to cope with if you make a mistake of being too familiar with them now. Like I said before, be good to them through their daughter only. |
What is the essence of revoving fuel and Dollar subsidy when you have to increase minimum wage? The problem of this government is that, they act before they think, and when they begin to realise their mistakes, they become too arrogance to stop or reverse it. It very easy for them now that Dangote refinery has started production to subsidise fuel withiout fear of saboteurs and bring fuel back to #250 per litre. They must as a matter of urgency subsidise dollar too and bring it back to around #700. Failure to do this may lead to totally economic breakdown and bloody revolution. |
idolda:Can subsidy be a scam under just one supplier? I don't think so. Once Government know the daily consumption of Nigerians through his sole supply, they can easily determine the average supply daily and subsidise. |
Hemanwel:You go explain tire. The earlier we all realise that Eguaveon is one of those that will never make Nigeria football team get good coaches and results, the better for us. Ever since that man has been serving as technical director at glass house, we never get good things from the super Eagle. |
chicfarmer:Nothing is wrong with his statement if the one made by Edo first lady is true. You don't say that an influential man, a political party gubernatorial candidate is wifeless at this crucial time and think people will keep quiet. By that statement, she's indirectly telling people he is an irresponsible man who doesn't fit to become a governor. It was attack on his private life. Let remove personal abuse from political game. |
dkidd:There is this adage that says, a man that had never experienced a real fight will always think he is a strong man. The day I found myself where there is non except one stupid sachet water and well water is the day I knew you can practically drink or eat anything if nothing else is available . We drank and ate what we would not have Ordinarily taking for good 3 days. At the end of the day, nothing happened to any of us. My point is that, no one will intentionally eat or drink what is not good to his/her system, it is situation that mostly compelled people to do so. So, if someone is boasting he/she can't drink or eat this, just know that the person only saying this because he has the resources or means of getting it. |
Odingo1:It would've made sense if you say majority of them don't know the meaning or importance of DNA test or simply not interested. Every tribe has cheaters or adulterous women in large number, this statistics doesn't make sense at all, especially by the fact that it was conducted majorly in Lagos. |
folake4u:Lolz, I have grown to realise that anyone can drink or eat anything if the preferred choices are not available. Won't she drink water if she find herself where there is no Nestle bottle water or any bottle water. We only creates all this in our imaginations only if we have the resources to fulfil them. |
nairalanda1:Nigeria is not rich but billions upon billions of naira and dollars are being stole every second? Nigeria is not rich but her leaders are living extravagantly with reckless abandoned? Do you even know how much of billions of naira Nigeria is spending on non functioning refineries and many other non existing agencies in a single month? Your kind are the reason these useless God forsaken leaders keep mismanaged our resources. Engaging you a critical national issue is a waste of time because you seem to know only what they make you believe. I don't blame you anyway, that is how a typical Nigerian behaved. They normally don't see anything wrong if the system is benefiting them or still dependent. |
nairalanda1:What about deploying advance technology to combat oil thief and smuggling? What about punishing corrupt custom officials to serve a lesson to others? What about hiring a machineries services to monitor our borders? That was the same excuses before they remove the subsidy, but look at the country today. To even think that this useless government removed fuel subsidy with absolutely no impact on economy says alot about the policy. Keep supporting the useless government, the monster you keep petting today may swallow you tomorrow. |
blowjohn:Dey play, Conte is a serial winner, and having Lukaku in their squad is a significant boost to their title challenge. Osimhen made a silly mistake by not accepting that lucrative contract offered by Saudi club instantly. Chelsea is no longer a big team, so why wasted his time and allow them to ridicule him with low offer. He still have few year left at his peak, he can come back to Europe after two seasons and join any semi elite team in top five league. |
Exousiang01:If I were in his shoes, I will take the same decision. He still have few years left at the peak of his career, so the possibility of coming back to Europe after a season or two is very high. Besides, joining a middle table/conference league team like Chelsea is not but a total waste of opportunity to earn income that could sustain him till rest of his life. Aside being glorify by Nigeria or Africa base fans, nothing is special about playing in Europe when you can play for a team with best facility and pays elsewhere. |
Unfortunately, this is what Tinubu has always looking for. I am 100% certain the North will never vote another Southerner who may grown wings and start nurturing for second term. I just pray things turn around better. We are probably stuck with APC till 2031. |
CyrusVI:Don't look at it from that angle but quality of people leaving the country. Japa these days is very expensive, and is for the rich and higher middle class that contribute immensely to our economy development. Have you also consider the fact that majority of our highly professionals with best brains are leaving the country? And what do you think would be of Nigeria faith if those who are meant to use their brains or wealth to develop it are all gone? |
Tallesty1:You don't know when a girl is forming hard and when she don't want to look cheap to you. Understanding the both will help you alot in dating game. So you want a girl to sleep with you in her first visit to your house? Only wayward or Olosho girls do that please. A girl that don't want anything to do with you will never come to your house. You were the one that failed to specify what you expect from her if she come. If you want just sex from a girl, you tell her before she come, if she still chose to come after that, then you win, because the possibility of accepting you at first visit is slim, infact you shouldn't attempt such at first visit if you want your dignity intact. |
helinues:Go and sit down my friend. Some of you dont know when to be rational while defending a government. Majority counted in any democratic society, so in a situation where majority of the masses cannot feed themselves or at least live a moderate living is quite pathetic and should not be applaud by any rational being. Go and verify, the said few people his policies are favouring are those using the opportunity to exploit others. Have you ever ask yourself why a filling station will buy fuel at less than #700 per litre but refuse to sell until the artificial scarcity he created push up the price? I am sure you will say the policies is favouring them too? Tinubu policies is bad, and will never move this country forward. Any country that want to experience a meaningful development must first take her humans resources serious and not capital projects. Africans are at that cross roads. Majority of our leaders (both past and present) are hopelessly daft, and I wonder why they keep failing to emulate people who introduce democracy or modern societies to them. Make foods and health services abundantly available for almost free and see massive productive Africans. This is the secret of developed countries that our dumb unfortunate selfish ignorant leaders fail to copy. |
Ayokequeen:Too expensive, ripe ones of this size are now sold 5 for 1k in Ibadan. We are almost in plantain season, and the price is coming down from now till next year January. This bunch should be around 5k. |
Oghene86:If he is not powerful, then how was he able to remain in PDP while still serving as minister under APC? Do you think PDP would have spared any other person dare to do so? What do you expect Fubara to do other than what he has been doing? Do you think governor too has no limit in exercising power within a state? |
CyrusVI:You are right but the most intelligent people are those that believe in reality and nature. Nature give you idea of existence of forces beyond the physical realm. Intelligent people don't believe in religion but reality and nature. Atheists think they are smart but can't explain why they see their physical being in dreams while asleep. Regions on the other hands are man made tradition, which doesn't in anyway represent or filled vacuum between reality and myths. |
This man is so powerful that some people don't know. Since I have been following Nigeria politics, no politician has ever serve in a government that is belong to opposition and still maintain his influence in his own party. |
This could be a bate by some Northern politicians to make Obi donate or fund their group in the state. Local government election doesn't work that way, it normally all about mobilisation and consultation of local groups and market women. People hardly come out to vote except they are giving reason to vote. |
