This could be a bate by some Northern politicians to make Obi donate or fund their group in the state. Local government election doesn't work that way, it normally all about mobilisation and consultation of local groups and market women. People hardly come out to vote except they are giving reason to vote. |
How can we recover the stolen treasuries when all of us are the same? |
Namaster:APC led government is a disaster, yes but saying Jonathan preside over the best economy in decades is not but sign of acute ignorant. Infact this current economic woe could easily be trace back to Jonathan era. He was fortunate enough to come to power during the oil production boom but mismanaged the opportunity. Brent light was over $100 per barrel, yet he could not diversity the economy or improve power sector. No major projects was recorded during his time, he even squandered what it left in foreign reserve despite the trillions of naira revenue accrue from oil. Jonathan is not any better and should not be an alternative in the eyes of any rational being. |
oneda:Nigerians are very easy to deceive, what if he stole from the same school and decide to use his salary to portrait himself as good ambassador? What if he is doing that on purpose or to get donation from people on social medias? Dont be carry away by emotion, he has more money somewhere else, reason he used his salary to cook for his students. No one use the money meant for his/her upkeep for charity. |
VaginaAcademic:It is called child abuse and not rape. The male children involves were either ignorant of the act or just seemingly enjoying it. It is impossible for a female to forceful rape a male, that is why the law doesn't recognise women's rapists. |
VaginaAcademic:Women can't rape, it is absolutely impossible. Penis don't or won't rise, except the owner mind is already there or wanted to do. |
EreluRoz:Because women don't care about the men past. Men past can only becomes matters, if women started to care about it. Simply put, it is not in the nature of women to care about the men past, while the men cares because they are the drivers of the unions they invites the women to join. That is why the marriage of our fore fathers and parents last longer than today's marriage. Unlike today, parents and marriage intermediaries does this work for young women and men, so that they will not end up with a useless spouse |
asobo1:As little as i understand the dynamism of Nigeria politics, I will conveniently complete my 8 years as president, let alone political masterclass like Tinubu. The first simple strategy I will use is to compell all southerners heavyweight politicians and leaders including traditional institutions to outrightly demand for completion of southern 8 years presidency. By this strategy, Northerners will never risk queuing behind another southerner who will probably spend another 8 years and keep them off power they cherish so much for 12 years. Since PDP is very weak, and the strong APC will only nominate Tinubu, they have no choice but to allow him complete his 4 years and get back the power. But to be sincere, this government is nothing to write home about, we understood they met Buhari rots on ground but that was not enough reason to remove fuel subsidy and float the dollar simultaneously. This two policies did not only inflicting pain on us but also create room for exploitation of various kinds. |
Sapasenator:You called someone who cannot spend on himself a smart guy? It is OK to live within your means but there is big problem if you allow that to turn you to a baboon living in the jungle. There is different between living above your means and suffering yourself. What is the point of keeping money but can't enjoy the beautiful moment God has giving to you? Why will anyone live like poor when he/she is actually rich? |
cococandy:I don't expect you to understand my post, just try to educate yourself and stop being available to a man that is not your husband at odd places. I won't dignify you with a response again because you lack wisdom of an experience woman. |
cococandy:Una like to call anyone not in full support of rape victims a rape apologist. Things are not always what we think they are, especially if it happened behind close doors or where no other persons can see. As a woman, you must learn how to draw a strict boundary between you and any man that is not your husband. Men rarely get close to the women thay dont like or want, they may not have intention to sleep with them but they are always vulnerable at a slighted seduction. A woman has no business going on private meeting with a man alone behind close door, Men don't have discipline when it comes to the kind of women they want, and this type of free spirited ignorant women can turn a good man to a rapist. |
mrvitalis:Ok. |
mrvitalis:Yeah, I knew you will used those countries as example, just use the question as a bait, so that I can tell you why you should not be comparing any developed Europe or America country to Nigeria. Black Africans, particularly Nigerian cultural value are mostly egoistic and domineering in nature, or better still, individualistic by nature. You can't give what you don't have, the quality of humans in this part of the world is basically centred around greed, personal aggradizment, and lack of patriotism. A typical African man don't care about his environment or others but only him and his household. He would rather take everything, so that others will keep begging him for crumbs. He derive joy in dominating others and compell them to worship him. It is never his fault but the way he naturally understand nature, which is cumulative result of his culture or tradition value. My point is that, humans in those countries you listed above believes so much in selfless service to their societies, while ours believes so much in accumulating personal gains. This is a simple logic, if you hire an estate agent to manage your property, and he end up spending your rent on himself, will you still trust him again with installation of borehole contract in the same property? |
mrvitalis:I don't even know what you are up to. If your so called leaders/politicians can boldly looted palliatives and funds meant for development of their country, what do you think will stop them from embezzle your heavy taxation from private individuals? Besides, majority of businesses, civil servants, import/exporters and many Nigerians of working age are paying taxes with absolute nothing to show for it, so what is your point? And you said "the most taxed countries are less corrupt" please mention those countries? |
mrvitalis:If you know the kind of evil and heartless embezzlement these useless leaders and politicians are doing on a daily basis, you won't be advising even your enemy to pay 40% of his/her income to the state. Nigerians deserve to live well above an average Chinese if we had managed our resources well. Did you know how much of houses units that 50 billions naira being embezzled by a single politician would've provided for the people within a state. |
Zetra7:This approach and strategy is too petty to me, and can't be use to win election because Igbo and majority of us here don't like APC anymore, and no amount of alliance will change that for him. He still need majority of votes in the North to win if he contest for second term. A simple strategy is to align with all political leaders and governors from the South to demand for completion of 8 years southern presidency and make a promise to key players in the North in 2031. |
vanbonattel:Virtually all the companies in Nigeria are doing it. Once they got that established names, they keep producing sub-standard products at initial price of quality products. So unfortunate that the system is so corrupt that they usually get away with it |
NtoAkwaIbom:And what will you do with the money realised from the said business? Keep investing and investing to what end? Will you take all the money made to the grave or what? In as much as I will also condemn anyone taking loan for that purpose, I will never oppose those who have their money to fund it because celebration is part of humans existence. |
That was then, this theory do not apply to modern day reality. Nigeria can peacefully disintegrate if all powerful leaders who are immensely benefiting from corrupt systems want it. The only way a region can peacefully break off from this useless entity is by entire hierarchy from the said region to support it. Who born anyone to oppose Biafra if all South East governors, senators, political parties, elites in both home and abroad endorse it. And withiout any saboteur among them to align with by Federal government, they can achieve it within a decade. |
Fiscus105:Did you know the financial status of her father when he married her mother? No matter the provocation, learn not to bring someone parents to an argument on social media, they are probably not your mate or do you no harm. A sensible woman know the important of marrying a capable man, while every sensible man need to understand that he need to be very capable before taking a wife in this part of the word. It is entire different thing if a man lose his wealth after marriage, but getting marry in poverty should not be encourage by anyone. You can't enjoy marriage in poverty, that is the bitter truth, and women are the ones suffering for it the most. I knew few of them in my area whose their husbands has ran away from home or totally became useless leaving them sourcing for what their children will eat by all means. |
Lieutenant83:Close relatives cannot if you treat them like your sons or daughters. Strangers don't have any attachments to you, and can harm you for personal gain withiout blinking. If you want to test this, let any bigger problem happen to you and see how your so called trusted strangers will be advising you to go to your people or start looking for them if you are unable to do so. |
Born2conquer:You better sell half or 75% now. Had a similar experience in 2017 with LUN & Trig and lost over $4k when I eventually sold it. Those shit coins are not even on major exchanges anymore, let alone appreciate to the level they were back then. |
Kingsmeal:I hate blame game by any politician, Tinubu committed a serious blunder by removing fuel subsidy and float dollar at the same time. Northerners are hard working people, though Fayose is somehow right about them producing children they can't cater for but that is not the reason for Tinubu bad policies that inflicted pains on all of us. As for 2027, you don't own Nigeria, you can't be threatening every president from another zone with election in order to do your bid. The case will be different this time around, and if you guys are not careful, it could lead to the end of Nigeria withiout any civil war. Remember majority of us here are well educated, and can easily work our ways with global power for political independence, what is stopping southerners from breaking off is their elites who are still immensely benefiting from one Nigeria. Besides, the present president is someone who doesn't believe in one Nigeria, so that make it very easy to achieve. |
SmartPolician:What of those that already linked their NIN but still got disconnected? No company will intentionally cut off its main source of income withiout interior motives. There is more to their action than just technicalities. Besides, why would NCC order them to reactivate them if they are the one giving them the deadline to do so? |
seunmsg:Read the news again, it says 450,000 barrels of daily consumption to be sold to Nigeria refineries in Naira. It means that government only took care of what we consumed daily by selling the equivalent of cruel oil to them in Naira. |
CatchMeIfUCanMO:If North is succeeded in taking this protest too serious to the extent of destabilising the peace, the next protest southern politicians will sponsor will be " end Nigeria or true federalism" protest. Infact, this is the protest I have been waiting for to actively participate. No one born in the womb of a woman can rule Nigeria successfully with this current arrangement. Tinubu must do something to alleviate this suffering that his policies brought upon us, this is just too much for us abeg. |
raskymonojendor:It pains me alot, if you try to educate them, they will say it is Federal government that create policies. Nigerians are different breed of humans entirely, and like you had rightly said, majority are illiterates or semi - illiterates, while the rest are governing by myopic sentiments and hates. State governments are our major problem in Nigeria, as long as we still have them around, this country is going no where because that is the arm of government where commonwealth are mostly wasted withiout results. |
sleek214:Lolz, you think America is like Africa where we see masculinity as sign of superiority. They have solid institutions that works irrespective of whoever be power. |
Stop stressing yourself, the only way to stop masturbation is by having constant real sex. Masturbation is mostly done by those lacking real sex or good sex. When you have access to sex anytime you want it, masturbation automatically become more irritating and a waste of time to you. |
