The same situation happened in the vivour Rhodes household with gbadebo where his mother commandeered him to the Igbo side and his dad had to eventually just disown him. The thing here is that the relationship between a Yoruba man and an Igbo woman is very innocent at the onset and the both of them are not thinking about tribe but lust.
