Palema007: Well it's the same with having no feelings for someone. It's selfish to be with someone in the hope of loving them later... What if you don't? If a lady can not reciprocate a guy's love, she should let him go, same goes with men.
Anyway to each his own It's not the same thing and can never be. If a woman constantly feels disgusted by every man she's not attracted to, then she has a problem she needs to address. |

Palema007: My post you quoted was a response to a comment that accuse op of rejecting a guy that once loved her and I ask if her feelings does not matter. Ma, if you find a guy annoying only when you accept to deal with your feelings of disgust and get to know him will you be able to Love him. But if you don't, you can't be crucified for i. That's the point. To be disgusted by someone is an entirely different serious case. Matter of fact, if you give even the tiniest bit of attention to someone who disgusts you, that's selfish. No need to lead someone on..to a relationship that's hopeless from the outset. |
Romance › Re: God is great by Ygrette(f): 4:33pm On Sep 10, 2020 |
Palema007: Lol... Yes I've seen this ideology countless time even from Men, but believe me it is the most selfish idea ever. For any relationship to work it takes mutual love, respect and kindness. When it is one sided it becomes a burden to the committed one. I get your point and have infact lived it when I was younger. I know everything you've written cos I've been there. Yes, it would seem like a burden to be with someone you appear not to love but my dear, these sorts of things is just "mindset". Your mind will delude you to think you can't love someone because they don't meet certain physical qualities you want in your man. But I'm telling you that you can, we all can so long as the personality is good. You can work on yourself to love someone. Love itself isn't a feeling, it goes beyond physical attraction. Takes time to grow, Love is a decision. Focus on their strengths and how they love and are committed to you, you'll learn to love and respect them. A wise woman will respect that man that loves her. Respect is an immediate action, unlike love which grows with time. |

Palema007: Are you saying she should have been with someone she felt nothing for because he was in love and dying? Do people who give narratives like yours ever think of the "freedom to make a choice" when a woman is involved?
Now I see why most Men fall in the wrong hands! It is all about your feelings, the woman's feelings doesn't matter, sadly when you lots face the consequences of your ideologies, you come back here to rant and tag women names. I beg to disagree. Nothing in this life is perfect, so is love. If a woman finds a good man who loves her.. that's all she needs. A good man who loves you will treat you right and will never cheat on you. He would place your needs above his. Loving him back is just a plus, not all that's required. If a woman is wise, she would respect that man with her life and learn to love him too. If she's waiting to find someone to love and who loves her in return, she may wait forever. Even as you grow older, chances are that your priorities will change cos maturity will set in. By now you're thinking of having a responsible man who's financially stable cos love don't put food on the table. You're thinking about your kids (even though unborn) and how you want them to have a good life. You'd realise that getting a man with marriageable qualities is more important than your feelings. If you have a man who loves you to the moon. A man who would have done anything for you. A proactive go-getter who sees nothing as a problem or challenge. A man who's ambitious, hardworking and honest, with the highest standards of integrity. A man who has a provider instinct. A man who actions his promises. A man who gives you open access to his phone and declared since you met that you were his wife...pls which kind of "loving him back'' are you looking for again?. Mind you, I've had such a man in the past so I'm not listing these qualities out of the blue. If a woman is privileged to find this kind of rare specie of a man, she had better husband him. Respect him and love his family and most importantly, learn to love him. After all that's said and done, if you as a woman cannot love this type of God-sent-of-a-man, then you need to check yourself. |

SirMichael1: I don't need anyone to condemn my wife, the mother of my kids. I just need insight on how to get her to do it. You can't get her to do it. What's wrong with you men atimes? You think women only belong in the kitchen? And who told you you don't have a choice on whether to host or not? Must you live a fake life for church? When your wife got married to you, she may have signed up for a lifetime of cooking and cleaning for her family, yes, but never for the whole village. Oga pls, contract the job to a caterer. If madam says she wouldn't do it, try to be empathetic towards her feelings. Some men can be insensitive atimes esp entitled husbands..like really? |

I bought my Generator and Car navigation system from Jiji and No problems at all. they are working perfectly and have been for close to one year now. Just do not agree to meet someone in a private place.always meet up at the parking lot of shoprite etc. But you cant beat GAME and KONGA and JUMIA for 100 percent safety and guarantee Alright but I prefer dealing with companies to private individuals just to avoid sob stories. Trading in open markets is not worth the risk esp when you're acquiring assets. Btw, I was a regular in Alaba when I was in school. I'd go there to buy CDs lol. |

Romance › Re: Can Someone Explain The Feeling Of Disgust, Remorse And Disdain After Sex.? by Ygrette(f): 8:52pm On Aug 31, 2020 |
Kelvin30286063: It doesn't happen to me. I have never had a feeling of disdain and resentment towards my wife after sex. Infact I get to love her more. We cuddle and talk before I sleep off. Most times I sleep off, sometimes I go back to what I was doing before while she either fix food cuz she knows I'll be hungry when I wake up or she sleeps too. No disdain, not even close. I think the reason why most men feel this is because they don't actually love the person they are making love too. They probably mistake love for obsession or infatuation. Don't generalize. We don't all feel that way. Do you have a stressful job? Pls be honest. I'm wondering... perhaps if you had a stressful job that drains you out, you'd doze right off to sleep immediately after sex or before she comes out of the bathroom. |
