Go to https://app.hellofax.com/ and follow the instruction. It's pretty straight forward. Use the free version. Tdadz: My good people of this great forum, pls I need ur help regarding my ECA... My transcript from my School just arrived WES in Canada and I need to quickly send my certificate as well. I read sometime ago that a nairalander used fax to send documents to WES, I will need your help on how to go about using the fax app to send my certificate to WES.
Also pls, does one usually get an e-mail notification when the verification is sent to the school and when ECA is ready?
Thanks

I think it was updated sometime in July this year. Hopefully, it won't delay the process being that we sent the document almost immediately after AOR before they start processing the application, but again, it's better to delay than to be denied because a result that wasn't attached. When was your AOR? geebaby10: Funny thing is that before I got ITA, in April I spent hours reading the website to know the requirements first hand and I didn't see this. Maybe it was an update in the last couple of months or I just skipped that part. We really need to keep studying that site to the tiniest detail.
I raised a CSE to add mine as well. No response yet. I'm waiting for the ten business days to elapse before I begin to over-worry. I hope it doesn't delay my application too much. |

Hello guys, remember how we went on and on about uploading or not uploading IELTS result being that there is no place holder for the requirement? I just stumbled across it on the CIC website that you are required to upload the result otherwise, your application will not be processed. Thanks to everyone that advised that I should raise a CSE, otherwise, I might have been telling a story that touch at some point. bbaby84: Hmmm.... I didn't claim points for my degree too as I didn't evaluate it but I was required to still upload my certificates and IELTS. Please explain while filling your EE there's a part where they ask for your spouse's degrees then there's a drop down if evaluated, I chose not evaluated so we didn't get points for that but there was still a place holder to upload degree certificates. Was that the case for you?Perhaps raise a CSE with all the degree and IELTS cert and explain. *or maybe you should have added to to your LOE slot. What's your AOR?

dtush: My sister, i am still on it oo. Infact coming to this thread now is depressing. I called the CIC contact center again yday and was told they cant view my checklist documents although they can see i made payment. so i was asked to fill a web form and submit that there is nothing they can from there end.
i have submitted the web form and i got a message saying it takes 10 working days for them to get back to me. They should just cancel it and i will fill everythg again if they cant find it. Its some sort of technical glitch or something Hello Babes, how's it going? Any update from cic? If you are required to start all over like you're proposing, I hope they won't expect you to pay another application fee. Sorry about this, even this shall pass and we shall sing a song of praise. Soon, we shall be watching Game of Thrones in real winter |

Interestingly, I checked my family travel histories and my husband's and son's (who has always travelled with me oh) are there but mine is not there. To worsen the matter, my Most Recent Travel shows only 1 entry without exit.Still showing that I have till Dec. 23rd 2017 to return. I got mine in April and just below date at the right side, there's an ECA number that ends with IMM. If you don't get a response from them, send them a private message on Twitter and also, use their online contact form to contact them. They hardly respond to regular emails. Raconteur14: Good evening all,
I have been following posts concerning WES evaluation closely and I have been quite fearful. Clearly stated that my purpose for ECA is immigration and I have a saved copy of my order page. However, my reference code does not contain the IMM everyone has been saying it should have.
I sent a mail to WES Friday evening and await their clarification but is there really any serious implication if the ECA doesn't start with IMM? Has anyone gotten their ECA from WES in recent times? Mine was gotten July 11th.
Seniors in the house please help.

My spouse didn't assess his degree so, there was no place holder for education for him, which means there was nowhere to upload his IELTS. How do I submit his IELTS result now that I've already submitted my application? bbaby84: Just because you were one of the lucky ones that got away with not uploading your IELTS and ECA doesn't mean you should mislead others. You could have just written your experience as opposed to discrediting other people's advise ( calling it false). New comers please always try and refer to the CIC website as they constantly update what documents they need from you. Please attach your IELTS and ECA to your degree certificates, it's what IRCC requires. There's no point in being refused for something you could have done right. This journey is draining enough.... |

Congrats. This your timeline is very impressive. I''m beginning to wonder if there are some criteria for allocating applications to Ottawa. Did you choose Ottawa when you were asked where you intend to live in Canada? Do you have any ties in Ottawa? Do you have any ties in Canada at all? What's your NOC? I think it will be nice to find out if there are some reasons why some people's applications are processed with the speed of light while some snail speed. Congrats again. soja84: Thanks Boss. By post secondary, I want to believe you mean BSc. Note that if you have a Masters, it will be better to assess only your master's degree. Having said that, it's advisable that you use WES or ICES https://www.bcit.ca/ices/eca/. ICAS takes forever but we've received some very positive reviews about ICES' timeline; so you may want to use them. Marc0110: I feel really happy to be enlightened by all the information above. Please I need information on the likely duration for postsecondary assessment by ICAS. They stated 20wks on their website. I was hoping it'll be shorter. Thank you to all members and admin team. With your current status, you have only 326 points. This is very very low and won't give you an ITA but you can do the following to take the points higher: 1. Re-write IELTS and aim for L 8.5 S7.5 R8 W8 2. Your spouse HAS to write IELTS and try to get 8777 and also assess his degree for more points 3. Look out for PNP and give it a try. By the way, if your spouse is younger, has a masters and better IELTS scores, you guys will stand a better chance with him being the principal applicant. domvic: I will be 36 in December dis year evaluated bsc have 6years work experience L 6.5, S 7.5, R 7.5, W 7.0 I don't have anybody in canada |

WES' assessment can be used to apply to CIC for immigration purposes (which I believe can also be used for job) and if you assess your degree course by course, you can use it for academic purposes. Tdadz: Pls need to clarify this : is it true that WES can only be used for academic processes and not for employment? |

To answer your questions, we will need the following information: 1. How old are you now and when is your next birthday? 2. what level of education did you assess? (professional course, Master or BSC)? 3. What did you get in IELTS' SLRW 4. Do you have a sibling (sister or brother or brother in-law or sister in-law) in Canada? With the information above, we can tell you exactly what your points will be. Meanwhile, you can also do that yourself using this tool http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.aspdomvic: congratulations to all that received ITA, house please I need help with what my score will likely look like I v done wes and ielts but my hubby didn't do wes and ielts what will my score look like?

It means you haven't signed it. Did you see a page where you're required to write your full name and sign? If no, you need to return to your account, after updating, click on transmit. Make sure you see the page that'll request for your name and online signature. Once you do that, it will be updated. Raconteur14: It showed that it was updated but not transmitted. Where am I supposed to do the transmitting? It took quite a while for it to even reflect that it had been updated and afterwards, I thought it would be transmitted. Only to notice that it wasn't when I got an ITA. If the draw had been less than 433, I would have applied but as it was 434, I can't afford to risk it. |

Try to book immediately if you have kids. Q-Life is cheaper with kids but it's not always easy to get a date. If you don't have kids, you can use Children's Practice, it's the same price and you don't have to book down. You can walk in from 8am to 10am any day from Monday to Friday. You can even do it a day to your submission. kissoflife: Thank you, but is it wise to wait til few days to submission before I go for medicals? Reason being my pof is still pending |

There are specific medical centers that you must visit. One of them is Q-Life in VI while the other is Children's Practice in Ikoyi. (if you're in Lagos that is) They'll give you the form when you get there. Call them to schedule and get the list of necessary documents that you'll go with. For an individual, it's N28,000 kissoflife: Thank you very much for this info. infact i never knew all this.

If the new score still hasn't been reflected, check to ensure that you transmitted the updated portion and signed your name. Raconteur14: Congratulations to all those that got ITA. @cochtrane and all the senior gurus, please don't leave us here.
I got an ITA but I might have to reject it yet again. I used a professional certificate that made my score high (two or more degrees). I initially got an ITA but declined it and removed the certificate. Now I have removed the certificate but my scores had not been updated to reflect the true nature and now I have gotten another ITA that still reflects my score with the professional certificate.
I tire to reject ITA o. Haaa... And my CRS will reduce in September because of my birthday. ITA better come out in the next two weeks and be lower than 433 o. #team433
