Yes. Sir John Hawkins had the dubious distinction of becoming the first slave-ship captain to bring Africans to the Americas. Hawkins was a religious gentleman who insisted that his crew “serve God daily” and “love another”. His ship, ironically called “the good ship Jesus,” left the shores of his native England for Africa in October 1562. He arrived at Sierra Leone, and in a short time he had three hundred blacks in his possession. Hawkins claimed to have acquired them “partly by sword and partly by other means.”

What has come to be referred to as "The Good Ship Jesus" was in fact the "Jesus of Lubeck," a 700-ton ship purchased by King Henry VIII from the Hanseatic League, a merchant alliance between the cities of Hamburg and Lubeck in Germany. Twenty years after its purchase the ship, in disrepair, was leant to Sir John Hawkins by Queen Elizabeth.

Hawkins, a cousin of Sir Francis Drake, was granted permission from Queen Elizabeth for his first voyage in 1562. He was allowed to carry Africans to the Americas "with their own free consent" and he agreed to this condition. Hawkins had a reputation for being a religious man who required his crew to "serve God daily" and to love one another. Sir Francis Drake accompanied Hawkins on this voyage and subsequent others. Drake, was himself, devoutly religious. Services were held on board twice a day.

Off the coast of Africa, near Sierra Leone, Hawkins captured 300-500 slaves, mostly by plundering Portugese ships, but also through violence and subterfuge promising Africans free land and riches in the new world. He sold most of the slaves in what is now known as the Dominican Republic. He returned home with a profit and ships laden with ivory, hides, and sugar. Thus began the British slave trade.

On his return to England Queen Elizabeth, livid, assailed Hawkins charging that his endeavor, ", was detestable and would call down vengeance from heaven upon the undertakers." When Elizabeth became fully aware, however, of the profits to be made she joined in partnership with Hawkins and provided him with the "Jesus of Lubeck," a.k.a., "The Good Ship Jesus."

A later slaving expedition in 1567, consisting of five ships and the "Jesus of Lubeck," met with resistance from the Spaniards at St Juan d'Ulloa in Mexico. Since the slave trade was illegal Spanish colonists usually required a charade of force from British ships, after which they would buy slaves at a discount. This time, however, the Spanish attacked the British ships and the "Jesus of Lubeck," cumbersome and difficult to maneuver, was sunk and the crew slaughtered. Hawkins escaped with Drake on a smaller ship.

Hawkins, his piratic ambitions dashed, returned to England and remained there in the service of the Queen. He gained distinction for his pivotal role in defeating the Spanish Armada and was knighted in 1588.

Rival Claims of The Saviors
It is claimed by the disciples of Jesus Christ that he was of supernatural and divine origin; that, although he was woman conceived, he was deity begotten, and molded in human form, but comprehending in essence a full measure of the infinite Godhead, thus making him half human and half divine in his sublunary origin.

It is claimed that he was full and perfect God, and perfect man; and while he was God, he was also the son of God, and as such was sent down by the father to save the fallen and guilty world; and that thus his mission pertained to the whole human race; and his inspired seers are made to declare that ultimately every nation, tongue, kindred, and people under heaven will acknowledge allegiance to his government, and concede his right to reign and rule the world; that "every knee must bow, and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

But we do not find that this prophecy has ever been or is likely to be fulfilled.  We do not observe that this claim to the infinite deityship of Jesus Christ has been  or is likely to be universally conceded.  On the contrary, it is found that by a portion, and a large portion of the people of even those nations now called Christian, this claim has been steadily and unswervingly controverted, through the whole line of history, stretching  through the nearly two thousand years which have elapsed since his advent to earth.

Even some of those who are represented to have been personally acquainted with him - aye! some of his own brethren in the flesh, children in the same household, children of the same mother - had the temerity to question the tenableness of his claim to a divine emanation.  And when we extend our researches to other countries, we find his claim, so far from being conceded, is denied and contested by whole nations upon other grounds.  It is met and confronted by rival claims.

Upon this ground hundreds of millions of the established believers in divine revelation - hundreds of millions of believers in the divine character and origin of religion - reject the pretensions set up for Jesus Christ.  They admit both a God and a Savior, but do not accept Jesus of Nazareth as being either.  They admit a Messiah, but not 'the' Messiah; these nations contend that the title is misplaced which makes "the man Christ Jesus" the Savior of the world.  They claim to have been honored with the birth of the true Savior among them, and defend this claim upon the ground of priority of date.  They aver that the advents of their Messiahs were long prior to that of the Christians, and that this circumstance adjudicates for them a superiority of claim as to having had the true Messiah born upon their soil.

It is argued that, as the story of the incarnation of the Christians' Savior is of more recent date than those of the oriental and the ancient religions ( as is conceded by Christians themselves), the origin of the former is thus indicated and foreshadowed as being an outgrowth from, if not a plagiarism upon the latter - a borrowed copy, of which the pagan stories furnish the original.  Here, then, we observe a rivalship of claims, as to which of the remarkable personages who have figured in the world of Saviors, Messiahs, and Sons of God, in different ages and different countries, can be considered the true Savior and "sent of God;" or whether all should be, or the claims of all rejected.

For researchers in oriental history reveal the remarkable fact that stories of incarnate Gods answering to and resembling the miraculous character of Jesus Christ have been prevalent in most if not all the principal religious heathen nations of antiquity; and the accounts and narrations of some of these deific incarnations bear such a striking resemblance to that of the Christian Savior - not only in their general features, but in some cases the most minute details, from the legend of the immaculate conception to that of the crucifixion, and subsequent ascension into heaven - that one might almost be mistaken for another.

In 1951 retired US. Military Intelligence Officer, Col. John Beaty, published a scholarly 265-page book IRON CURTAIN OVER AMERICA. In it Col. As you can see the Paleo Show the Most Ancient NAme of the Creator as YAHAWAH, while modern Hebrew(Yiddish) versions changes the Name of The Creator to Yahweh. A change brought about by Elieazr Ben Yehuda the father of the so called modern hebrew also known as Yiddish.

Well the ancient hebrews never spoke Yiddish a far eastern European langauge spoken by the Khazers(Southern Russian,Polish,Bulgaria,German, etc)

In Greek mythology Hades is the King of the Dead.  He is a son of the titans Cronus and Rhea, and brother to Zeus, Poseidon, Demeter, Hera and Hestia   After Zeus had overthrown Cronus, the three brothers divided the world between them.  Zeus ruled the heavens; Poseidon ruled the sea and Hades was left to rule the underworld.  There, with his queen Persephone, who he abducted from the world above, he ruled the kingdom of the dead.

Although Hades was a grim and pitiless god, unappeased by prayer or sacrifice, he was not an evil god; mostly he was concerned with increasing the number of his subjects, which he ruled justly.  Those whose calling increased the number of his dead subjects were seen as welcome guests, the Erinnyes (the Furies) for example were particularly welcome.  Once in his realm, he was disinclined to allow any of his subjects leave, a condition that even applied to his wife Persephone, who he allowed to visit with her mother Demeter during the Spring and Summer, provided she return to him in the Winter.  One exception was the legend of Orpheus and Eurydice.

 

Hades may have been a remorseless god with a terrible temper, but he was not capricious.  Indeed as Pluto (his Roman aspect) he was also known as the god of wealth and riches, because as crops were grown and precious metals mined from the earth, people believed them to have come from his kingdom below the ground.  He also had a helmet that made the wearer invisible, given to him by the Cyclopes in appreciation of his help and prowess in battle, this he would lend to other gods and mortals when needed (as in the legend of Perseus).

 

Of all the Olympian gods, Hades is the one least liked, and except for Zeus, most other gods lived in fear and had an aversion of him.  He was a frightening opponent in battle and had proved his worth during the ten-year war of Titanomachy, the battle of the Olympians versus the Titans in which Zeus had overthrown his father Cronus.  His weapon of choice was a two-pronged fork, which he used to shatter anything in his way or not to his liking (much as Poseidon did with his trident).  Hades rode into battle on a dark chariot drawn by four huge coal-black horses, an impressive sight striking fear into the hearts of his enemies.  Although he was an Olympian, Hades spent most of the time in his own dark realm.

In the real world, people avoided speaking his name lest they attracted his unwanted attention.  In rituals they sacrificed black sheep, letting the blood of the sacrifice drip and seep into the earth, at the same time while praying to him, they would bang their hands on the ground so he would hear their devotions.  Sacred to him was the narcissus plant (named after Narcissus, who in Greek mythology was a beautiful young man who had rejected the love of the nymph Echo, and was condemned to fall in love with his own reflection in a pool.  So intense was his passion for himself he pined away, and in the place where he died a flower sprang up that was named after him), the species of which genus includes:  daffodils, jonquils and narcissuses.  The cypress is also sacred to him; branches of cypress were used as a symbol of mourning.

The underworld is often referred to as Hell, or ‘Hades’ in reference to his title as King of the dead.  Hell was his place of residence, a place divided into two regions:  Erebus, where the dead pass on to as soon as they die, and Tartarus a deeper region, the infernal abyss, a place of punishment for the wicked after death and where the Titans had been imprisoned.  Hell the underworld of Hades was a dark, dim, subterranean place, inhabited by vague forms, shadows and numerous rivers.

 

Somewhere in the darkness of the underworld was the palace of Hades.  It is often depicted as a many-gated, dark and gloomy place, set in the midst of shadowy fields and haunted landscapes.  Cerberus a fierce three-headed, dragon-tailed dog, guards the gates.  Inside however, it was redolent with the treasures of the earth and thronged with his guests.  From here Hades ruled his kingdom while sitting on a throne made of ebony, the scepter and badge of his office was a staff, with which he drove unrepentant souls of the dead into the lower world of Tartarus.  To get to the palace was a long and perilous journey crossing the many rivers.

 

On death, the soul of a person was lead by Hermes to the entrance of the underworld, there to be met by the aged Charon who runs the only ferry allowed the cross the rivers.  Only those who could pay the fare (after death, coins and other treasures were often buried with the deceased for this purpose) would receive passage, those who couldn’t pay would be trapped between two worlds.  The journey would begin on the Acheron (the river of woe), down the Cocytus (the river of lamentation), into the Lethe (the river of forgetfulness), through the Phlegethon (the river of fire) and on to the Styx (the river of hate) to arrive at the gates of the palace.

 

The soul then enters through the gates to be met by Cerberus, who allows all souls to enter, but none to leave.  The soul then appears before a panel of three judges, Rhadamanthus, Minos, and Aeacus, who review the souls past life.  Those who had been good were blessed and allowed to proceed into the Elysian Fields, a happy final resting place.  Those who had not were damned and abolished to Tartarus, the infernal abyss, there to forever reside in torment.  The legends of Sisyphus and Tantalus are examples of this.

The History of Torah originates in Africa and I’m an African period(whether north, west, south or east make little difference). You seem to forget that our ancestors did not sprout out off the west African soil like trees.

Ecc 3:14   I know that whatever YAHAWAH does,It shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it.

The Book of the Law is not the New testament. Did your christ quote from the new testament when he supposedly said for " it is written"

You can't blame Minute for making those comments, this is what Christianity teaches, Any society that does not have rules and laws becomes lawless

so if christianity teaches that the law is nailed to the cross then there is no standard for Judgment yet  xtians claim that Christ is coming to judge the world,
so I ask , With what Law or standard is he going to carry out his so called Judgment?

Have you been to a court of Law? by what standards does the judge rule on a law suit?
