kidap: Buhari who again failed to attach necessary supporting documents , insisting that they were in the custody of the military.
In the affidavit which he swore to , Buhari said , “I am the above named person and the deponent of this affidavit herein. All my academic qualification documents as filled in my Presidential form , APC/ 001 / 2015 are currently with the Secretary of the Military Board as of the time of this affidavit.”
Reno Omokri took to his twitter account to react to the report with caption saying...
Buhari's bane is the economic situation of the country in addition to the high level of insecurity. Perceived double standard in the fight against corruption and looking the other way as regards the herdsmen are also other issues that might be termed his albatrosses.
Atiku's is solely corruption but his promise to revive the economy and improve the security situation are two strong points for him.
A hungry person prioritizes his belly, explaining the long-term benefits of the fight against corruption does not make sense to him, all he wants is immediate satisfaction, that perspective is what most Nigerians would bring to the table.
For me, Integrity comes first anyday, anytime and I'm not saying this to support Buhari but then, we all got our various opinions.
kennygee: This one doesn't know that this supposed "enjoyment" is the tool the Iya Oshorongas in his village are using to stagnate and keep him unmarried. Until he gets to 40 or 50 and starts visiting MFM, Redemption camp and Shiloh.
So being unmarried at 40 or 50 depicts stagnation? Conversely, so being married at 20 or 30 is an achievement?
I just love the strategist who came up with this idea. Fantastic!...and it's working like magic!...the drama's got everyone talking. Great publicity stunt.
yesloaded: Few people understand what make believe really means. Its possible to smile with someone on set and even romance them wheras you are not a friend but you have to act that way due to work demand. The paparazzi keeps both wizkid and Tiwa savage the talk of the town and its part of publicity but many viewers fails to realize that. Celebrities will go extra mile to be relevant, same goes to David Adeleke and Chioma paparazzi, he is doing that to gain attention and nothing else.
WIZDOM081: Tiwa don dey collect since time of Pakurumo
Exactly, they've been friends since way back and are just helping each other's careers blossom.... no one should be fooled with the drama they put out in that video.
Shehunoshewhat: Well, no need going back and forth. I have been in both shoes. I know how the cookie crumbles.
Whoever has the opportunity to get a good paying job should go for it. And from there aim for the top. Why suffer again after having burnt the midnight candle all through school and made a good grade
Not everybody can be a salary earner. But everybody can give entrepreneurship a shot.
May God bless our hustle.
Amen.
Lastly, I have worn both caps as well. I left a high paying job (by any standard), when I left, my friends and family were unaware for over a year, only my ex-colleagues knew about my exit. I had no explanation for them for my leaving because they would say "something is definitely wrong in your head" and truly, they would have been right, I had no excuse to leave but you see, that unscrewed knot in my head is the desire to pursue my dreams, if it was about the money, I wouldn't have left but my leaving was hatched in a plan of over a decade, it wasn't sudden or unintentional. Destiny called and simply answered.
Shehunoshewhat: What I am trying to tell you is that nothing goes for nothing.
It's possible to become highly successful and wealthy via a good career. And it's the easier way out too.
Are you ready to give it all it takes to be a 'highly successful' entrepreneur
If you know what most of the 'highly successful' entrepreneurs are into, you won't touch them with a 6 foot pole. People dabble into a lot of shiiiit, you know.
Are you a Christian? Are you ready to compromise?
Entrepreneurs are making it no doubt, but it may be very hard tough for those who don't want to soil their hands and have heaven in view.
The solution: follow God's leading. If you are cut out for it by your Maker, everything will work out smoothly otherwise the person will suffer until he decides to compromise his soul.
Bitter truth.
Everybody should be at least an on the side entrepreneur though. I am one.
Well said but even in career, climbing to the top of the corporate ladder can be equally hard, (you see people who have been on the same grade level for years without a promotion), sometimes you also need to 'compromise', whether it's sleeping with your boss(es), throwing a colleague under the bus, currying favours, ass-licking, or outrightly going fetish.
To rise to the top in life is not an easy ride either as a career person or an entrepreneur, most important thing is to ensure you get to the zenith of your chosen endeavor against all odds with a sense of fulfilment (actualization) which tops Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
Shehunoshewhat: Top salary earners can afford them. Steve Ballmer was a salary earner with Microsoft.
Let us even limit it to Nigeria. 1.5M per month is 18M a year. Is that the kind of money you want to make? Let's even say you earn 4M per month, that's 48M a year, is that money?
Who are the highest paid salary earners in Nigeria? (Not the business owners themselves, I'm talking employee Managers here), most def MDs of Banks, Oil & Gas coys and Telcos? How much do they earn per month? Again, let's assume they make 20M per month (which I doubt, with the exception of a handful), that's 240M, is that money? Not the kind I aspire to make.
Can you become a billionaire as a salary earner in Nigeria? (Like you mentioned in another post "without compromising"
Shehunoshewhat: Top salary earners can afford them. Steve Ballmer was a salary earner with Microsoft.
I modified my comment early on..."except of course you are an Exec with stock options and many other benefits in a "Fortune 500" coy...."
Truth is not everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur, some don't even want to be one, it doesn't interest them. A lot of people are high flyers in the corporate world earning large sums as salaries and bonuses which makes them rich, comfortable and happy.
The truth however remains that to be stupendously wealthy and leave a lasting legacy for your lineage, you have to be an entrepreneur. Without a need to check and confirm, I can categorically tell you that 90% of the top 200 richest people in the world are entrepreneurs.
We can have this discussion going for months but in conclusion, it's ok to be a salary earner but being an entrepreneur provides more opportunities, wealth and fulfilment for any individual. Like the other poster mentioned, look around your area and tell yourself how many of the houses are owned by salary earners, maybe 5-10%. You can start out as a salary earner with a plan to transition to entrepreneurship which is ok as well.
Food for thought: If someone pays you N1.5M per month, you will 'kill yourself' if you knew how much the business owner truly makes for himself (or themselves)
On my way to work this morning I was wondering how many entrepreneurs can make a net income of 1.5m monthly. I know many people who earn that. And they are not even in top management.
The day I saw the MD/CEO of a very popular IT company desperately eye the job of a Microsoft employee in Nigeria, reality began to set in.
It is well.
Bentley, Porsche, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, Lamborghini and the likes, which category of people can afford them? Salary earners? Except of course you are an Exec with stock options and many other benefits in a 'Fortune 500' coy.
Darkseid: For every one employee that earns 1.5m monthly, there are 200 entrepreneurs that earn the same. Look around you, how many of the houses in your area were built by salary earners.
What was the money from ONSA doing in his (Fayose's) bank account? Weren't the funds meant to provide security to Nigerians including the fight against BH?
Now, some people come here singing the praises of a man through whom money was diverted and lives wasted as a result, if only you had a relative who was a victim of their financial recklessness, maybe you'd understand.
yettymuse: Marriage scares the shitty hell out of me. To think this lady was giving us marital tonics on 'how to and how not to' some few weeks ago. I pray God restores whatever is causing this dissolution. This isn't a good news at all at all.
Lesson: Don't be a 'follow follow', open your eyes very well, be careful who you take advice from and in the end, make your decisions, because you and only you will live with the consequences of those decisions.
NaijaCelebNews: From Tuface to Wizkid to Davido....There's always a massive jam needed to make an artist career and take them from upcoming to superstar status. Here's a list of Artist and the songs that made them blow!!

this just buttresses bannylove13's comment on the npower thread
'APC (and PDP) government has made Nigerians think poverty and grow poverty.. While others youths from other countries are innovating..projecting ..inventing .. developing..going with the modern world.. jetting into the new age.. Our youths glory in manual fish farming ..snail farming ..pencil manufacturing.. toothpick manufacturing..manual agricultural farming ..sewing..etc.. reverting us back to 80's.'
Others have said it all...let me just add, stick to your 9-5 for now and do the other businesses on the side, when things pick up and the businesses require your undivided attention, you can leave.
Don't forget you cannot throw caution to the wind since you have a family, the case would have been different if you were single.
LyfeJennings: This is what happens when U marry for beauty A wife material is different from a moment material IK knew wassup from d scratch but homeboy was feeling all westernized... Smh I hope he deal with what's going on
The lady is very beautiful with some form of class and requires good money to maintain her lifestyle.
I doubt if IK Ogbonna has got the kind of money to 'maintain' her. I think expectations and reality have finally come to play.
We wish them all the best anyway.
...but I beg to differ on a beautiful lady not being a 'wife material', there are so many beautiful women who's got good homes.
Koolking: Of course Fashola is right. Nobody solves a problem by magic. It would take sustained efforts and resources to solve electricity problem in Nigeria. Already there is considerable and encouraging improvement in power supply in recent times.
You don't seem to get the drift...what guys are saying is that he is now chewing his words.
king Ahasuerus according to the book of Esther reigned in India and Egypt for years. Queen Esther married him and he was not a Jew (present day Christian) please, is not everything u see u quote the bible because same bible will put forth something deep in it. Remember that the marriage of Queen Esther to the King saved the human race of the Jews. Ooni enjoy ur wife in ur youth.
So interesting how the Bible can be twisted to suit our desires....please me I want to co-marry Beyonce with Jay-Z, please help me locate which part of the Bible supports it.
lloyds: Tinubu is so corrupt is everything . . It amazes me why he hasn't be prosecuted.
Mean while, Atiku will sell off Nigeria if elected. . He has the tracks.
If he must, he had better sell Nigeria to the USA or Canada so we can all become citizens...lol Those one can then turn us into an industrial arm of their country where production would be taking place, at least, it would create employment, all of us including Atiku himself will work for them.
Dmanky: I bear my thought on this too. I don't think she married the Ooni biblically rather emotionally, govern by her senses. You can't serve God in a temple with with idols n its worshippers.
I'm still struggling with my thoughts to understand this arrangement.
slywind2000: But she does not look happy in the first pic...
I don't think the Ooni met this lady himself, I suspect it's an arrange parole.I can sense the lack of connection between the two but it sure would grow over time.
Wish them a blissful marriage but then I wonder how a spirikoko would blend with a 'worldly' guy.
