Me seeing strands of white beards but not due to stress though, maybe too much cracking of the grey matter or times are changing...but guess what? I love it ![]() |
Smart, diligence, daring and enterprising couple. More power to your elbows. |
okerekeikpo:Read your post again and tell us how it sounds....distasteful right? Stop eating BEEF, fish tastes better. |
Timaya for edit that Ciga nau, Tu go vex for am. |
HigherEd:Forget it, they might be at loggerheads, but when an outsider wants to pass his or her boundary to an American, they stand together. |
I am not a fan of marriage, but LADIES, listen and carefully at that, NOT ALL BUT MOST MEN WOULD CHEAT ON YOU AFTER MARRIAGE, especially the 'good' and innocent looking ones, the earlier you accept this fact, the better. IT IS WOMEN, MOST, NOT ALL, that consider cheating after marriage as sacrilegious, MOST MEN don't. The best your husband would do for you is to hide it from you because he truly loves you; don't be fooled, SAINTS CAN ONLY BE FOUND IN HEAVEN, only a few of the corrupt ones were cast down to earth, so we have them here too. Bash me if you like but I just told you the truth. |
Birds of the same feather... |
GlobalGisting:I just wish another candidate asides those of APC or PDP can win this election, but unfortunately it's hard in this present Nigeria. Whether you like it or not Buhari cannot change this country, neither will Atiku. We need a fresh mind and brain. Reminds me of what I read a long time ago on problem solving. Not vertabim, but says, "...if you have a big problem, don't give it to someone who has prior idea about the problem, but instead paint it as though it were a simple task and give it to a newbie, s/he would eventually solve it because s/he did not know the magnitude of the challenge...". Nigeria needs to dump these airheads, they cannot do her any good. |
My questions are: 1) Is the APC 100% sure of winning these states in the general elections? 2) Why then pay this much for the tickets? 3) Does the APC have a sure winning formula in those states? 4) If these guys lost in the general elections, what will happen? 5) Is there a form of compensation for each of them, sort of a plan B? 6) let's assume they win, is it not obvious that they would recover these sums? Paving way for corruption. Their actions have got me thinking. |
Shey you can see what their children do with our stolen collective wealth and some of you would still be singing their praises like a broken record....continue, you hear? Continue. |
@OP: Thanks for sharing. Very insightful. |
So sad. May their souls RIP. |
7inches:Was wondering too ![]() Congrats to them, 33 years is a loooooooonnnnnngggggg time. |
Appreciate the little things you got, the best things in life are free, it's not always about money. Never heard of this condition before now, wow. |
kstyle2:They know what to do to get them but their wicked hearts care less since it does not involve any of their relatives. Useless people. |
mushystuff:I quite frankly agree with you but these are not mere allegations. Obanikoro and Omisore I think, entered a plea bargain which implied they received the funds from the office of the NSA. Where a leader chooses to ignore the rule of law, there we go, tyranny in the offing. The courts' verdicts should and must be final, not any individual's. I agree. |
She had better get separated from the man immediately, before she loses her life! |
gurunlocker:Everyone can now see the kind of havoc Linda (and other bloggers) has been causing and she's been doing this for years, when it was her turn to feel the heat, some blockheads were blindly supporting her. I know it's a game, that's why it's better to remain objective when they come at each other. To understand what she has done, imagine someone revealing your masked identity as a Nairalander to the entire world, all the things you've said and done on NL will now have a face and identity put to it. Scary and crazy right? Linda made that post out of envy and revenge (I am back message), you think she doesn't read what people say about her and her croonies on Instablog? Mercy Aigbe even specifically fired at Instablog and its readers in her response to the house allegation........anyway, let's sit back and enjoy the drama. |
Newboss:It's a matter of choice and reasoning amongst many other factors. You can have a world-class brand without people knowing who truly is behind it, whilst some poeple like Richard Branson choose to be the face of their brands, others may choose to remain anonymous, a good example is the person behind the '69' Denim, the designer has chosen to be anonymous and has stated that fame does not matter to him or her. Being anonymous and accountable are two different things, I can own large corporations spread across the world and the only place you'd find my name and face is in the HOLDING COMPANY's registration documents, you'd never see me in whatsoever way publicly associated with the companies yet I remain very accountable and responsible for the activities of the organizations as it affects the general public and relevant stakeholders. It's a matter of choice. |
Ishilove:Whenever Kemi starts with her, you will see people ranting, can you see the reason why she too gets on Linda's case now? Anyway, for me, it's their game, let them play it well, they know the rules. |
In my opinion, Instablog is currently the most successful blog in Nigeria, it has trounced LIB (and other blogs) and so disclosing the identity of the owner of instablog is a subtle ploy by Linda to fight it and reduce the patronage of the blog as she understands that the anonymity of the person behind the blog is what makes it really interesting. This is a crude, vicious and damaging attack served by Linda, so when they attack her too, people should learn to be objective and understand that it is a business game which is fair just like in love and war. The owner of a blog doesn't necessarily have to be the handler but when the owner writes, you would know. Linda personally wrote that post. |

Komu1048:...but seriously, can the MURIC go to Convenant University Secondary School with this fight for hijab wearing? |
I think the words used by the MURIC in that statement are harsh and threatening...there are better ways to write and drive home the points. If the school does not allow it and you think it's more important than the education being given to your child, then withdraw him or her from that school. If I owned a school and you cannot abide by our rules and regulations (which would be made clear to you from inception), please knock on the next door. It is very simple. |
Beautiful story. May God bless them and keep the sweet story from going sour. |
Ray97:....and FFK just did that! So what do you say now? |
Big congrats to him. Nice one. |
@OP First, she wanted to bleep you in a conference room during working hours? What happened to her office? The conference room is a public place in any organization, no one would want to choose such a venue for an atrocity. This makes me doubt the story...might be true though. Second and lastly, if it turns out to be a true story, you went too far by going the legal route almost immediately, since you have the recording you should have kept your job and watch how things pan out, involving a lawyer should be the last resort, not jumping into it right away. Sexual harassment should never be tolerated but it should be handled with wisdom. I think you quitted just too soon. |
Ramon92: Badt guy. |
Leave out personal beef...his case is akin to what yorubas say "someone who wants to be killed and is simultaneously rubbing palm oil on himself", this man corruptly disbursed funds meant for our national security as a nation to his cronies for personal gains and you come here and say PMB is vindictive? Please weigh the implications of his actions and determine if he deserves to rot in jail or not. Let's not be sentimental about this issue, Boko Haram should have been long gone and not escalated but for people like Dasuki. He should be given a fair hearing though, which would prove him guilty anyway. Let him pay for the consequences of his actions which led to loss of numerous lives including our gallant soldiers and innocent civilians. We should apply reason in this matter. |
