No one can stand in the way of a man who's ready to lose his life for a cause he believes in. That's y suicide bombers are dreaded. The Nigerian (and other) military spill their blood to protect us. Just like any "BODY' they have their weaknesses and still make mistakes but c'mmon guyz, let's appreciate and respect them. The bravery and selflessness of these men of Valor should not be undermined. Well, as for me and my house-WE LOVE THE NIGERIAN MILITARY! and will always remain loyal and patriotic! |
If ur middle name is not "Mugu and your other name is not "Maga" which i'm sure is not the case; you had beta flee b4 she milks u dry. Leave her alone; she doesn't love u; else, she'll milk u dry n dump u Now is the time to flee -do so briskly but intelligently |
A nagging wife? God forbid! Even the bible says it is better to live on the roof top than to live with a nagging women. A woman that does not know how to look? that's not pleasant either but i'd rather make do with her instead, |
@Chidichris i feel u bro. The 'world' especially Nigerians (Yes Nigerians) like to rejoice at other peoples' downfall; we need to change this attitude if we must succeed as individuals 'cos what we see is what we get. Stop looking out for and 'seeing' other peeps 'downfall'; see thier 'uprise'. nairalanders must learn to pray that they get to that height where companies will file a suite against their spending manners.-i remember LARRY ELLISON's (Oracle) accountant making a public outcry about his spending habit. What Larry said: "I have so much money than i can spend. Money is the only means by which we count the score of the game" Let's all pray for so much than we can spend. |
@ Poster It's not bad giving it a try. Let's hope curiosity doesn't kill d cat (You) and i hope u'd know when to back out and not become an addict. |
Hey Dude! Your list is not complete! You forgot to mention YOIGHAMAN (Chairman, Yoigha Coporation) ![]() Cheers man. |
@Angiefan Nice analysis; i hope to live the "good" life someday; ain't nothing like it! @ Poster Obafemi the "Orile dude" is no fool; i don't want to believe this gist; he sure knows what he is up to. |
The controversial JIMOH IBRAHIM. My man anyday anytime; your life can never be d same again if he 'mentors' u, not too sure if u worked for him though |
gingeranny:Be strong Sist. d best is always yet to come; heartbreaks do come and go, as said early on-This too shall pass. Cheers |
I am a faithful Christian, realist, anti-terrorist and pro-western. Having been an avid devotee of foreign affairs for a long time now, I am ‘tempted’ to stop taking sides with the West particularly “the big brother” United States in respect of the Islamic-Western hostilities as regards "Terrorism". What is Terrorism? I suppose we all know the answer. Initially, I was excited during the Iraq & Afghanistan invasion but years later we can all testify to the horrendous consequences of these actions. The US spill the blood of hundreds of Muslims without remorse but up goes a brouhaha when an American soldeir is killed in ‘combat’ be it on US soil or not. Does the US not realize that these "lost" enemies are the Mothers, Fathers, Sisters, Brothers, 1st (2nd or 3rd) Cousins, e.t.c of one Muslim folk or the other who might be resident in Fort Hood or even the Capitol Hill? The 'callous' US sacrifice the lives of its soldiers for selfish socio-economic and political benefits/gains for its future generation yet cut short the lives and future of other nations and label any attempt to fight back with whatever means as “terrorism”. Who made the defiant US the world police? A country that fortifies his military prowess with nuclear weapons yet sprints like a headless chicken to Russia (to Putin; not their figure head President) at every opportunity to solicit support for the castigation of Iran on nuclear weapons? The US roasts the bodies of friends and relatives of Iraqis & Aghfans with dangerous chemicals called bombs, proliferate these bodies with smart bullets and expect them to fold their hands, have their butts glued to a sofa, relish in their favorite cuisine and watch latest movie? Or tap their fingers and “step in the name of love?” Nah! Impossible! The earlier the US realized that the Islamic community is highly cohesive and supportive of each other just like their NATO, UN, EU counterparts, the better. Inasmuch as I do not support Hamas, Hezbolla, Al-Qaeda %other “terrorist” organizations including their actions especially 9-11, I’m 100% sure that you cannot kill my mother and expect me to pat your back and say a very big ‘thank you’, I will fight back with my last pint of blood as being done by these “terrorists” I choose to stop here in order not to divert from the topic of discussion. Conclusively, the US itself is also a “terrorist” - the cup could be half-empty or half-full; it all depends on your perspective. |
I prefer a gorgeous-looking 28 yrs old damsel to a Uxgxly 18 yrs old virgin anyday anytime. Just kidding ; how on earth would someone compare a brand new car to a fairly used one? |
Peter Ololo must have been laughing at the so called stocks specialist especially Abayomi Obabolujo ( the self-styled guru) while sipping white wine and puffing cuban Cigar behind his 'trading desk' during the boom; my fear is the advent of another Peter Ololo. Anyway, just like the ponzy scheme era, some will definitely go down with the ship when the next (coming) boom cycle is over as it is a fool's market. Just like many others who were taken aback; we won some and we lost some in the stock market but it sure guarantees the highest investment returns of all times; we have potential winners and losers on this thread as we await the next boom mid/late next year; only time will differentiate us all. Good Luck! |
@ Poster Plus you don't even need to re-invent the wheel; just do what is currently being done more efficiently and effectively with a bit of swagger and you'd have a Bulging pocket. Cheers. |
I'd help you inquire from a friend and revert. Alternatively, you can put a call across to Obabolujo and his stockwatch team; they made the clarion call. |
The last time IGI declared a dividend was for the year 2007 and it was 15k. Is anyone aware of any dividend afterwards? |

It's a true life story; heard it was told by a lady on INSPIRATION F.M this morning. I wonder what she was smoking when she told her Fiance 'cos it made no sense at all telling him. "The Jury is in"! |

If you'v got a good location, start a Laundry business. For now, whatever you intend to do, please let it border around FOOD, SHELTER and CLOTHING Please revert should you have concerns or further questions. Cheers man! Wishing you all d best |

Which of these do you prefer and enjoy most. Nairaland or Facebook? and for what reasons? |
No doubt, the IBB family’s stupendous wealth is the opportunity cost borne by our young women who die during child birth, the dilapidated school buildings meant to develop the minds of our people, the deplorable state of our roads that claim innocent lives, the wasted generation of our fathers, the unnecessary lives wasted during his regime, the aborted dreams of a great nation; we can go on and on. The better if he apologizes and good if does not but I insist that if we must forge ahead as a nation, we need to forgive the past and IBB is part of that past. Once again, Mariam Babangida, may your soul Rest in PERFECT peace. |
May her soul rest in perfect peace. |
Different strokes for different folks. The guy in question could tolerate laziness or even disrespect from her but not a third class; not weird though. So sad for the lady but I honestly do not concur with his excuse; we’ve got brilliant and successful “third-ies” Whatever his motives are, it is “something” that must terminate a relationship. |
@ Poster Respect for women is a virtue. Thread with caution. |
