I'm sure d poster (dapastor) of this thread would have a re-think 1323 or 1324 times before posting such a thread next time. |
You already know the answer |
What do you expect of an over-leveraged individual? 'stingyness' becomes his default character. |
It’s almost 1150, I hope the moderator would lock this crazy thread by 1151 |
aint gat no choice but 2 join dis madness between 1032-1033 hrs of d day! |
2face remains the 'baba' of Nigerian Hip-Hop. He dared when others cowered. He remains dear to people like 'us' irrespective of his 'mistakes' 2face,Ride on joor. |
let's pray Ramsey a speedy recovery, always a 'Gunners' |
Height of Wealth: An individual lending money to the world bank |
A plane just crashed few days before my journey in an Asian country (can't remember 4 now) I almost asked the flight attendant to tell the pilot to stop that a passenger wanted to a get-off; i was scared to death and jittery all through the journey |
Inasmuch as the experiences of the sacked bankers are poignant and the actions of the bank owners ‘not commendable’; we should be mindful that these are businessmen who are profit oriented and core capitalist who seek to maximize profit at the expense of ‘anybody’ I do not support their actions and at the least, they should have had some empathy on these guys many of whom worked assiduously for their companies before embarking on the mass sack. The Poster of this thread have not asked for too much; if people could come out openly to share painful experiences such as r*a-p*e, sexual assault, strained relationships, loss of a loved one, affliction with deadly diseases, e.t.c I do not see any reason why we shouldn’t learn from their experiences. NL comprises various categories of people which include the young and inexperienced who would immensely benefit from the lessons learnt from these unprecedented experiences. Cheers. |
This thread was neither started for Inspiration nor Business advice!!! it wasn't started for Adverts and Promotions either!!! We know where to get these should they be required. PLEASE POST BUSINESS IDEAS ONLY. |
The achievement of the young man is no doubt remarkable and enigmatic but the Human mind and brain are capable of achieving anything whatsoever. All you need do is have a great deal of determination and perseverance. Cheers |
@ Fuke were u @ any point in time part of d Harry Porter series? flow wiz dis idea n u'd neva get it wrong. Cheers. |
John Edwards had 'stood' by his wife who's been fighting cancer for years and had showered praises on her publicly. So sad…a startling revelation exposed his extra-marital affairs that produced a child; now the couple’s marriage is torn apart Should Elizabeth forgive her husband who had been supportive in spite of her ill-health? Or should she just trash him and move on with her life? What’s your take on this issue? |
Jarus:There's no substitute for hard work including passing your ICAN exams. I am in sync with the above quote; it worked for me in dem days. all the best. |
so why are ICAN exams more rigorous or has the standard fallen? |
@Poster If i had N8.5m, i will: - Fix N1m with a sound bank -Invest N1.5m in this crashed stock market -Invest N3m becoming a Financier/Ceditor to strictly bankers, oil and Gas & Telecom guys who are always in need of cash; earning 10%/month -Buy a landed property worth N1m in a remote area -Start a service business with N2m Cheers. |
i don't have a g/f yet but i call the one in-the-offing about 2-3 times a day. |
Fhemmmy:Does this imply that marriage dispels privacy? -I love late night study but she hates being disturbed at night; must i go to the study all the time 'cos my wife wants to sleep? -I'm a 'shallow sleeper' and gets disturbed by any slight movement but oh! She snores at night -I light things being properly arrange but she's a bit care-free about stuffs -I'm not a TV person as such but she has the time-schedule for all TV programmes on her finger-tips -I love very cold atmosphere but she catches cold easily -I listen to music before I sleep but she detests ‘noise’ at night -I cannot sleep with the lights on but she likes bright lights at night I could go on and on and on. Who is meant to compromise on the dislikes? my wife? me? I’d rather be in a separate room, please. |
DatNiggaAk:Beautiful |
Incidents like this gives us great concerns; it scares us away from the Nigerian type of politics-'blood-shed politics' y should i vie for a public post with bunch of murderers paraded as politicians? so sad. rest in peace DD |
I'd have my bedroom while my wife would have hers when i get married. If she chooses, she could sleep in my room every nite but i need my privacy as well. Yes, she's my wife n i love her but common, we need to do what'll work for us irrespective of societal norms or tradition |
Maryam meant more than anyone could ever imagine to IBB; she was his pillar, his tears were real! I reiterate as usual: only when we forgive the past can we move forward as individuals and as a People. May her soul rest in peace. No doubt, IBB's apology would go a long way though. |
@ Poster The name sounds very familiar. if it's who i presume it to be; then u definitely mistaken 'cos he's a man of integrity i sit on d fence though |
@ poster could you be more explicit please? who is David Chinedu? |
Need to get some rest; will return to this thread tomorrow morning. Parting shot: Sagamite, please take it easy you've been overly rash on this thread. Good nite. |
I'm sure the FBI will detain him for a very long period of time in order to extract useful piece of information from him I'm glad it didn't occur in Nigeria where it would have been covered up immediately Trust Americans; they know how to deal with him It might sound illogical and unintelligent but i think Nigerians need to look further into this Sanusi-Dr. Mutallab-Farouk-Jaiz Bank-Northern agenda-extremist et al circle. |
Roliks09:The guy is simply a terrorist and must be treated as one Mohammad Amir Ajmal Qasab survived after the November 2008 Mumbai massacre, was he labeled a 'terrorist' or not? futile or not futile; bomber or suicide bomber; a terrorist is a terrorist Osama has not been captured; is he labeled a goodwill ambassador? |
Roliks09:Whilst our hearts are heavy over the incident, some folks r bitter about the unsuccessful attempt Was the Journalist that hurled his shoe at George Bush in Iraq celebrated by 'terrorist' or not? |
This is so so sad; i am dazed This terrorism s*h*i*t is taking new dimensions by the day; it is just plain nebulous as it defies age, social class, education e.t.c Religion indeed is the most powerful force in the world; how else does one explain what this guy got himself involved in. His family, Nigerians and Africans as a whole might term his action as utterly disgraceful and embarrasing; but hey! he is a Martyr in "their world" The war on terrorism should be fought 'ideologically' and supported with weapons; otherwise i forsee an endless and futile war i wonder how many of such guys r in d offing so sad ![]() |
Nice post. In addition; Don't start a business simply because you like the idea e.g starting a restaurant because you are a good cook, setting up a boutique because you love clothes, starting a hospital because you are a Medical Doctor e.t.c Start a business (Goods or Services) that solves a problem or meet a need. You could be a Lawyer by Profession but decide to set-up a Hospital (with a Licensed Doctor as a dormant Partner) or an Architect setting up an Accounting Firm (with a Chartered Accountant as a dormant Partner) because there is a need for it in your target Market. Cheers. |
NB We'd return your initial investment of N500,000 after expiration of the 48 months. Cheers |
