What else do you expect from a President who BH nominated as their negotiator with the FG many years ago? We should not be surprised about what is currently happening in the country.
A christian brother in the US or UK can lead the choir with his dreads and earrings on, but immediately he lands in Nigeria, such dressing becomes a taboo. Tueh... let's learn to be calming down in this part of the world, please.
SojWORLDWIDE: A young student identified as Success was seen in a viral video half naked running up and down begging for alms to eat. He was seen eating Water Melon with a careless abandon. Dahustler007: Long story Short! I'm currently serving in the North-East region of the country precisely Gombe state. I got myself into some debt mess mixed with me gambling my 33k in just two days! I know I messed up big time. My mind isn't at rest, I'm kinda depressed and I have School tomorrow I can't teach those primary school pupils in this state of mind I need some advice on what to do... I cried my Life out... I deserve all insults and more. I just need help! Please someone should help me. I'm dead¡
Bro, don't be hard on yourself, take it easy. We all have at one time or the other had a vice or two. Just know when to let go. Gambling is an addiction, just like Cigarette, Alcohol, Masturbation or Drugs, and it can be dangerous; You need to consciously work on quitting, though it's not easy. For now, please gamble with only the amount you can afford to lose, not your entire earnings or savings. May God help you quit. One love, my brother.
So that one rich man working in one big Oil Company will see him and like him for his cooperate dressing while Hawking under the hot sun and be like
"Hmmm...I like your drive and approach to work. I like your zeal and bla bla bla. Take my card. Call me. I work for an oil firm. Let me help you get a job in my company"
Somebody should tell him that his strategy is good but might not work all the time.
How many Nigerians working in Oil Firms or Telecomms will see their fellow men and want to help them get jobs in their own jobs. Nobody wants you to rise above them.
My 2 cents.
Why are you critizing the young man with subtle bitterness and hate?
The diligent man is dressing well in order to attract customers, you are here having ideas on his behalf, did he tell you he wants to work in an oil firm?
Did you even read the post before making comments? Because if you did, you will see where he stated that his english wasn't fluent when he first decided to use it as a strategy. Is that the kind of person that wants to work in an oil company of your imagination?
At least, he is not fraudster, he is proud of his legit trade and we are all proud of him too.
Nigerians will buy even at N500...We would just shout for some time and keep quiet, but then, it would be for our own good on the long run and we would be better for it as a nation.
IbileIfe: Majority of Nigerian voters don't care about your tribe if you can pay for their votes They have no conscience and no shame. If Asiwaju Tinubu chooses an Igbo political leader as his Vice Presidential candidate and he is ready to spend enough money to pay voters for their votes, he will win the presidential election. An Igbo man is ready to sell his brother for N1m. Hausa Fulani bandits and terrorists kidnap and kill even innocent Hausa Fulani children, because of money. In this world ruled by Mammon (Money), everybody has a price.
He needs the Hausas more, because of their huge numbers.
Even if he chooses an Igbo person as VP, the Igbos wouldn't still vote for him because they still nurse the injury stemming from an alledged betrayal of Tinubu taking sides with the Hausas/Fulanis and they would also be sensible enough to know that his choice of an Igbo VP is just a decoy.
The Igbos detest Tinubu, just that they detest Buhari more, with a passion because same goes for Buhari to the Igbos.
If the APC could lose Oyo State, what makes people think they can't lose more states in the SW where BAT is adjudged 'King'?
BAT sure has a winning structure and formula with his wealth and generosity, especially in Lagos where he has puppets like MC Oluomo who is also eyeing the state house of assembly but a lot of people are beginning to get fed of Tinubu; Question on people's minds "Is it only him? What else does he want?"
The Igbos won't vote for him, so he's banking on the North who will definitely disappoint him going by their antecedents.
maisams01: terrorism in Gombe state? Please update yourself, Gombe is one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria
As far as I'm concerned, Northern states are plagued with terrorism, whether Gombe or Begom; the same narrative of peace is being spread about Kaduna. You will hear "Kaduna is one of the most peaceful places to reside in the north", but look at what is going on there.
I doff my hat for this woman, chastity is a very scarce virtue these days. These are the kind of women we should celebrate, not Tacha, Mercy or Tega.
Thanks for showing us we still have ladies with good morals, values and discipline. Many of those shouting "It's no big deal" wish to return to their state of virginity but it's impossible.
Smartini: I find nothing wrong with this school. Must a school be made of blocks and aluminium roofing before it can be called a school?
The school, although with thatched roof and mud wall, looks in solid condition. Moreover, for its location, if that's what fits its environment, I support it. There are schools made with blocks and zinc in remote local governments that cannot be maintained sef.
Forget the fact that it's made of mud and thatched roof. It's beautiful, simplistic, and most importantly, a ground for sharing knowledge.
Are you from Afghanistan or Iraq? Because this your post weak me o...
christejames: That could be an Islammiyya School...
I served in Gombe and Akko is where the capital is, the state has one of the best public school facilities in the country mostly in the capital and their pupils are surprisingly learned (majorly women). Mind you, I served with a public agency that afforded the opportunity of traversing the capital nay the state in general.
Could remember when my CDS visited a public school then, mahn, come and listen to intelligent questions being asked by this students mostly the girls with good English.
In terms of religion, the state is shared just like Nigeria 50-50. During my time there their deputy governor was a Christian.
You must have served there in the 90s or early 00s when terrorism hasn't gone this bad...just saying.
dig64: No evil agenda sponsored by the Fulani terrorists in Aso Rock or the fulani herdsmen bandits foot soldiers or their Boko Haram and ISWAP jihad-spreading counterparts against Igbos and all Christians in West Africa shall succeed.
Is it by force to have one Nigeria with these backward, northern I'd*io*ts? What are they even contributing to the country asides illiteracy and ter*roris*m? They even have the effrontery to dictate to sane citizens. Cr#azy lots.
Dude is playing football and cashing out big time. These fans are there shouting, some don't even a dime in their pockets. Sometimes, I wonder if we fans are mentally OK....Guy is balling in his lamborghini, you are there snapping pictures, if I may ask, what do we even benefit financially by supporting these football clubs and players?
For how long will Christians continue to fold their hands? When karma beckons, it is then these bigots including the one in Aso rock would have a voice. They should continue, Christians will hit back someday.
The zombies supporting Buhari will not see him obstructing justice here in favour of his kinsman...what baffles me the most is that a Yoruba man will gladly go against his fellow tribesman in support of a Fulani who does not give 2 fvckx about him or his generation. I give it to the Igbos in this regard, even the dullard knows they don't send him an inch.
