So the person pleaded with the loan shark to exercise patience and also know that overdue fee is being added which the defaulter will pay, yet the loan shark still went ahead to message contacts as if contacts will pay him. Who does that? Anybody taking loan has intention to pay but if they couldn't pay when is due, call them and know why. Not texting contacts. Is defamation so stop it.

I do not support sending messages to the defaulter's contacts but it is what it is and if the measure brings results, so be it.

Typical Nigerians do not intend to repay loans, they see it as 'free money', if you don't smack their backs, you'd lose your investments.

There are other ways to make defaulter's repay though, but this seems to be working, so be it.

Nigerian criminals don't like embarrassment, but they want to fleece innocent business men and women of their hard-earned money...how funny.

We have had similar stories, the latest we read was on IG where a guy was drinking with his friends and one of them laced his drink when he got up to pee, while the others looked on. On his return, a 'good Samaritan' rushed to him and asked him to not take the drink again. It caused a heated argument; the victim trusted his friends so much that he was mad at the onlooker while his friends joined him to chide the 'good Samaritan' who tried to save his life.

The manager intervened to quell the situation and asked the 'good Samaritan' to please leave the bar. The gentleman shook his head and left the bar with a gloomy look that seems to spell, "You will get to know the truth when you cross to the other side; if or when next you ever come to this life again, you will never trust any friend 100 per cent".

To cut the story short, I dated a girl for 2 years which her family and mine are fully aware, she's an Igbo girl and I am from Rivers State.

2018 I wanted to get married to her all of a sudden her parents refused, they started talking about tribal differences, I told them even my mum is an Igbo woman but they don't want to to listen. It got worst when the Rev. Fr said no they should not allow her marry me because they are Catholic. I felt very bad, but how will I do, I moved on with my life.

That same year they gave her out in marriage to one guy who based abroad, I congratulated her without any grudges. They got married and this year the man died but they have a son, the man has been buried but I still love her and she is willing to come back to me, infact as it stands we are more than lovers.

But I am giving her space so that she will mourn her husband very well and I don't want people to feel I prayed for the man to die so that I can take her back, because she said nothing will stop her this time. My problem now is should I let her go or marry her because I love her so much 100%?

She used her parents as an excuse to not get married to you, it was not their decision, she made that decision herself because she wanted to travel abroad with the other guy who was doing better than you. Know this, know peace and have sense.

An unidentified Nigerian man has explained his decision to use his parents for money ritual, Newspremises reports.

The man who was questioned on his intention, said that even if his mother begs while he's about to carry out the act, he won't stop as her plea would only push him into killing her faster.

When the man was asked if I could also use his father for money rituals, he said that his father is the easiest option as he doesn’t ''give a f*ck'' about him.

Can you imagine the mentality of this young man? So disturbing and pathetic. Unfortunately, this is an echo of what goes on in the minds of many of today's youth; we can now see why banditry, rituals, kidnapping, internet fraud etc. are rife in the society. Unnecessary and unrealistic displays on social media is a major cause. May God not give us these kind of children.

I kicked against it when former Emir, Lamido Sanusi did it but I was made to understand it's their culture to marry them young. The only snag is the 18 years of age stipulated in the country's laws.
