Lexusgs430: If a patient presents to you with stroke, and your medical facility lacks test facilities, what would you do? We still don't thombolyse until we are sure, a lot of private diagnostic centers offer CT scan services. If you thombolyse a hemorrhagic stroke, you only make things worse |
Health › Re: Stroke Patient Dies In Lagos After Pastor Stopped Him From Taking Injection by yomijnr(m): 7:00am On May 31, 2018 |
Lexusgs430: Once the patient presents with vital signs of a stroke attack, CT scan can be done after the patient is thrombolysed.
That 3 - 4. 5 hour window is very important......... So you thombolyse before determining if it's a hemorrhagic or ischaemic stroke? |

It's likely that you have a case of chronic sinusitis. It would explain the bad breath, foul smelling sputum and recurrent headaches As some others have already suggested you should see an ENT specialist. |

How could a group of people come together and say they do not want Education, yet they call press conferences and speak to BBC in English That would probably make you an 'aboki' too, if you're going to come on here to make such silly generalisations about a whole tribe based on the actions of a minority. |

Moodie, did you forget to take your pills this morning? The point I was trying to make is that, the fact that he was abducted doesn't necessarily make a mockery of the country. Nigerians are too quick to condemn the whole country when something happens, talking rubbish abut how the rest of the world sees us. When people are kidnapped in other countries, I don't hear people talking about how it makes a mockery of their country. Moodie, you'll be better off learning the English language and stop making silly assumptions.
I'd hardly call Mikel a national icon, he's a super eagles player, that's about it. |

All you people criticizing the police are the true fools. The man went missing, no one contacted his family to make any demands, how then did you come to the conclusion he was abducted. There's a number of possible reasons a man would disappear excluding kidnapping. It's funny how you guys just display your lack of common sense everyday. |

~Bluetooth: ''Niger'' means black in latin,so it may have probably be used by the colonialists to describe Nigerians. The first set of people to have contact with them either urhobo, itsekiri or ijaws must have used it over time but how it came to be nationalized,i think shina peters made that in the 90's. What are you going on about? The question was the origin of the nickname 'Naija' not Niger. |

Well, you both need to get tested again to confirm your results. Her result could have been a false positive or yours could have been a false negative. Either way you need to make sure. Also, being HIV positive is not the end of the world. For starters there's no need to terminate the pregnancy because of the mother's HIV status alone. There are drugs which can be taken to prevent transmission of the disease from mother to child. If turns out, she's truly HIV positive, then she will need to start taking the drugs immediately.
Whether or not you choose to go ahead and marry her is entirely up to you. It's possible for you 2 to be married and have a normal sex life as long as you practice safe sex and take the necessary precautions.
Hope this is somewhat helpful. Good luck! |

efe22: Am shock when people use such dirty names to form a website domain. What a waste and when you visit such website, they are filled with rubbish. Naija denote evil, shame and slavery. Nigerians stop pretending and be proud of your country - NIGERIA like the Americans do and stop using naija or 9ja it sucks. Someone forgot to take his medication this morning. Refrain from posting before taking your medication dell_net: have you guys ever noticed a lot of phrases sprung from youths on the street/neighborhoods and they spread around the country rapidly? I don't think any known media figure sprung words that 9ja's use today even that swagga word. erm, 'Swagger' is an English word, it didn't originate in Nigeria |

Congratulations to the Nigerian team and most especially to the guy who won the bronze medal. I was lucky to be in the first Nigerian team to the International Physics Olympiad in Pohang, South Korea in 2004 and it was a lovely experience although we had no chance of winning any medals due to lack of interest from the government at the time. It's good to see that government is showing a lot more interest now. Before long with the appropriate preparations I'm sure Nigerians will be among the gold medalists. |
